Waiting on i-751 since May 2021 and we filed n-400 in March 2022.

i-751 has been at EAC (Vermont Service Center) but today got an update: "Case Transferred To Another Office"

No other information so I guess I will wait for the letter in the mail for the details....

Wow if it’s the the NYC (Manhattan) office then processing time is 20-30 months! The other boroughs are shorter waiting times.

I’m in Manhattan, filed mid March (from K1), Bio in April and I am settled in for a long wait.  This surprises me a lot but congrats!

Thankyou!! Maybe they'll do it in the same time for you too, you never know really.Hope for the best Good luck :)

No idea.  I was just trying to explain that nationally, the process isn't "speeding up."  A fast AOS is really more of a reflection of a specific LFO's workload and processing times.

Yeah that could be a possibility but at the same time i feel they treat every case differently so one can never be sure on why one case takes longer and other doesn't.If you ask me, even i won't be able to tell you exactly why it happened with my case but good thing it did.

So your green card took just 1 week to arrive? After approval? I came in on cr1 visa almost a month ago and I am yet to receive my gc, well it does not affect me though was just curious on how fast yours was printed.

i had my interview on 23rd so yeah it did take a week but after you're approved at the interview that's the normal time for getting the card i think.Hopefully you'll get yours soon too

  5. Hi I filed for AOS  on 27feb 2019 and today i received my green card in mail. The whole process took three months maybe the waiting time is less now or maybe it was just a straight forward case can't say for sure but whoever is waiting i hope you get yours as soon as possible and I would like to thank the members of visajourney for the help since the time i joined.

    Goodluck everyone :)

  6. Pakistani Embassy is already hard enough issuing k1 to opposite sex partners so can't really say how they'll treat your case.

Its going to be pretty hard to convince the CO,this isn't really common in Pakistan as compared to other countries.

Really sorry to hear about your case but I want to mention three points here:
    1. The visa process is not like going to a grocery store, spend some money and bring the things of your choice. US visa process is one of the world's most difficult visa to get and it's scrutiny is the toughest. They do not utter a word without having proof of some kind.

    2. I am sorry to tell you that US is not issuing K1 visa's to any Pakistani citizen. (The question as to how I know about this K1 visa is because my lawyer who is in the US told me so)

    3. The only solution for you is to call you fiance to Pakistan, get married, collect solid proof, and then apply for the spouse visa.

    hope it helps

    Thank you

    Khan

That's not true they are issuing K1 visas to Pakistanis. As long as the relationship is legit there is no reason for them not to issue one.(As for how i know i went through the process myself a while back )

You definitely need to change your lawyer
