  1. How's everyone, it seems like nobody mentioned about the cancelation of interviews which includes me, interview date supposed to be last mar27 but was canceled on mar19 due to covid, I felt lucky enough that I had my case scheduled after only 6months given the fact that my field office is houston but then covid happens.

Anyone got their new interview schedule?

@ourjourney_pc when you printed it? I thought after you submitted it, you print out only the confirmation page? Does it have any other info to be printed ? I’m having the same issue. Not sure if I should submit it just without “ previous “

Yes.. You only need to print the confirmation page for embassy interview.. But you also have the option to print the whole ds160 just for reference and that's what i did..

So after i had interview with the consular officer took my passport then handed me a yellow slip saying they are waiting for my medical results but the thing is i took my medical a month before my interview date at the embassy? anyone else experience Administrative status while waiting for medical results.

    I did..

Call or better go there and check with your clinic or hospital about your medical results, follow up everyday to make sure they deliver it asap and requests for delivery acknowlment.

Ready to schedule an interview doesn't mean that your case reached the local office. When it reaches the local office you will get the Interview was scheduled. Until then your case is at the National Benefits Center in Lee's Summit Missouri.

Is this true?now im confused.. Hmm

This is new information, i always thought, that ready for interview is the case has been sent to lfo and it's in line, only because that's what everyone is saying, especially that person on fb who seems like know it all.. 🤔

The USCIS Field Office for people residing in Austin is San Antonio and not Houston. Perhaps that's why she's got ger interview date pretty fast. I noticed San Antonio Field Office has been on top of their game lately.

I guess you're right, because the letter she received after her interview says san antonio, 😒😒😒

Then the website was misleading or something happened to that case, anyway.. I guess wait 1 year or more then 😞😑

but i also chatted with her btw.. So it's straight from the horse's mouth.. Coz ive been looking for someone from Houston who got their gc within less than a year.. And i was surprised by her case.. Maybe she's just lucky

    Hi Texas residents,

I noticed many filers from some States get scheduled pretty fast. Texas seem to be pretty slow. I also don't seem to see comments from Texas filers, especially those who filed this year. So I decided to create this thread so we can all talk about our experiences, frustrations and successes.

Here are a few stats for Texas filers. There are five (5) field offices in Texas (El Paso, Harlingen, San Antonio, Dallas and Houston). I arranged them in the order of processing time with El Paso having the fastest processing time and Houston having the least. Currently there are 17,256 pending cases with Houston and they only process an average of 1730 cases per month and they receive 1130 cases per month (do the math).

I and my hubby are with Dallas Field Office which is almost as slow as Houston.

    The wait continues.

Nvm, I think i found it.

Hello! Me and my fiance are planning to apply for a k1 visa within this year and we are curious about the proof of a legitimate relationship and the fees needed for the application. We have these questions:

    1) Do we need to pay the full amount of about 2,000$ or more immediately after filing? Or we just pay it depending on the step of the process? Can anyone tell us a timeline when and how to pay?

    2) Who will be doing and compiling the proof of ongoing/legitimate relationship? Is it my american fiance or will it be me to do it and present it to the embassy once for interview?

    3) we have pictures whenever my fiance visits me in the philippines. But he has a handful of pictures where he wears sunglasses outdoors. Can we use them as eligible photos to present as proof?

    1) Usc will file the petition with $535 then wait for average of 7months for approval, you can continue from there for medical payment, visa fee payment etc.

    Read guides here

    2) everything will be submitted by the usc, you can help him though in preparations of the documents and compilation and send to him by email or mail whichever works for you

    3) of course you can use it,  try to use only a few and of course submit photos without the sunglasses.

    Goodluck

Hey guys, I mailed back my packet 3 with the DS-160 confirmation slip, MRV fee receipt and checklist + form and it was delivered yesterday... how long does it usually take from delivery to packet 4/interview scheduled?

Got my packet 4 (email from embassy regarding the interview schedule) 3 days after and the interview date was 3 weeks later..

Hi. We need some advice about our RFE for our AOS application. We got our mail today and they want us to send more evidence about my husband's income. Basically, USCIS wants us to send his most recent tax year. Which we did included on our application. My husband's previous job actually didn't met the 125% of the federal poverty guidelines last year 2018. But he started his new job this year 2019 on January 14. The problem is we don't know what documents we need to submit to them so that they will continue to process our application.

On the letter also stated that we can use a joint sponsor but we don't have to at least we think because my husband's job now already met the 125% federal poverty guidelines. What do you think we can do?

    Thanks in advance!

    Send his recent paystubs

Letter of employment stating his position, when he started, and if the position is permanent.

    Goodluck
