I just called the NVC this morning (12/27/19) and got my case number but the lady told me that the embassy in Port-au-Prince had requested that the NVC hold on to all K-1 files. As of now, the Port-au-Prince embassy is not processing any K-1 visa and she does not for all long. Did anyone hear anything different? I got this same answer too while i was doing the K1 process. My husband has been here about 3 months now... a few months ago there was a hold going on due to the unrest in Haiti but as of now it should be fine. Cases get shipped 2 times a month... so i would call constantly to see if it shipped . Some reps always give out the incorrect information. 

My case didn’t ship today... so i guess we didn’t make it in time. So we’ll be waiting for the end of the month.

Yes, a few ladies I’ve been in contact with.. their cases have been shipped to Haiti a few days ago. And mine is still @ NVC. Maybe sometime next week it’ll be shipping so if it does I’ll let you know. 

Case number finally assigned! Received it yesterday. Does anyone know when my case might be shipping to Embassy?

They received mine on the same day also. I’ll be calling on Friday like @Greenbaum said.

I called the number (603) 334-0888 and gave them my receipt number! 

NVC received my case yesterday, how long does  it take for case number?

NVC Rep told me they “just” received my case... anyone knows how long till i call again for case #?

Hey ladies! I know a girl that her case has been sitting @ NVC for a month now and she said hers now says IN TRANSIT and she also said she received an email from NVC stating so. Please check your case at NVC to see if there’s any movement.  This is great news!

My fiance was watching the news this morning and the U.S Ambassador Michele Sison said IF things stay the way they are in Haiti, the country may be removed off of the red zone sometime in May.

Yes, i just received my NOA2 last week and it took exactly 90 days for approval.  So You’ll be getting yours in no time. 🙂
