Thank you so much, it sure was relieving.

Oh wow, I hope you get the good news soon. Pls, what do they mean by the landscape and portrait orientation cos I intend to start working on putting things together? Also, where I can I get info as to what documents are required. Thanks again.

Documents should be from top to bottom not sideways.

I'm not good with posting links but I know I've seen them...basically birth certificates, marriage cert, any divorce decrees, tax transcripts, I-864, police certificate, passports, passport size photo from immigrant and any translations

Yes Yes Yes!! I finally got an approval for my I-130 yesterday April 26 which also happens to be my birthday. This is the best birthday gift ever. Phew off to the next stage!

    PD July 25, 2018.

    RFE Sent April 15

Yay! Happy Birthday, what a great gift! My birthday was last week and I got a notice from NVC which I thought was a case complete but instead ot said that 3 of our documents were uploaded in the landscape orientation instead of portrait...so we resubmitted and still waiting!

Hi. NVC gave me my case number and invoice number on April 19th, but I've been unable to login into CEAC for two days. I keep getting this error message: The selected Case Number and Invoice Identification Number combination you entered does not match our records. Please try again or contact the National Visa Center for further assistance

Has anyone else had this issue? Do I need to wait a few more days? Super frustrating since we are obviously eager to get on with the application  process.

Yes this is normal, it takes a few days and it was the weekend

Yesterday, together at last here in Europe for ten days, we paid both fees to NVC via CEAC, also uploaded all documents, including side-loading additional evidence, photos of three trips together between petition filing and now.  So we're hoping for the standard 3 week processing time after uploading documents for approval at NVC and case complete, we're estimating an interview at the Rio consulate in early July, less than a year after filing the I-130.  Right now we're just hoping that the uploaded documents are approved without any glitches.  It is a big concern to see all the delays here on VJ regarding the CEAC documents that are rejected.  We tried to be as careful as we could be and followed all the guides on NVC's website.  Good luck everyone with the NVC stage!

I'm on the same time frame as you. Got the last documents of our joint sponsor uploaded on April 10th. Fingers crossed!

I got this notification today via case tracker app, "On March 20, 2019, we mailed a request for initial evidence for your Form I-130, Petition for Alien Relative, Receipt Number SRC######. The request for evidence explains what we need from you. We will not take action on your case until we receive the evidence or the deadline to submit it expires. Please follow the instructions in the request for evidence. If you do not receive your request for evidence by April 4, 2019, please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request a copy of the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address". Am really not sure what they really need since I submitted all my evidence to them. Can anyone help me figure this out??

I'm so sorry. I can only imagine they want more evidence? This whole thing sucks.

I have never heard of a denial at NVC before your case number has been assigned.  Your file is just sitting in a pile or in an electronic queue waiting for someone to give it an NVC case number.  You may be confusing the wait to get the case number with administrative processing at the consulate abroad.  Yes, NVC will do a review of the file once all documents are submitted, fees paid, etc., before they send it to the consulate and schedule the interview, but you are not at that stage yet.  When someone told you it was in "administrative processing" they simply meant it is in line for a NVC case number.  So I would not worry, the NVC case number is taking forever to be assigned these days, if it has been 8 weeks you should hear soon, just keep calling them every day to ask.  I would say you have a zero chance of getting a denial before the case number is assigned.  Good luck with the NVC stage!  We're almost there, it's been 4 weeks for us since NOA2 so our file should be at NVC soon, then 8 weeks for a case number (or 9 or 10 weeks?)....  patience is key.

Thank you, I pray you're right! When the woman said Administrative processing I was shocked and I asked her what that meant and she wouldn't tell me and I said I'd just never heard of it at this stage and she still gave no info other than there is no set amount of time that it will be in AP.

Our immigration lawyer told us the administrative processing usually means it’s about to have a rejection letter drawn up.

The nvc has prettyngood at sticking with its 6-8weeks. We are 4 weeks in and the lady told us our data is starting to be inputted but will take time.

This is my concern! I just don't understand how I can be rejected when we haven't submitted anything yet to NVC!! I only hear of AP happening post interview

No dont worry , they will not deny in NVC process. If something is wrong , they would deny you in USCIS process not in NVC.

Its taking 3 months to NVC to send the number so you will hear something from them soon .

You're saying you think this is normal? Everything I've read states otherwise. It says at least an additional 60 days in AP but can be months or years. I'm confused if you have heard that AP is normal part of this process.

Try to be patient , my pd is 23 july and im still waiting approval from USCIS and many of JULY FILERS are still waiting .. you are very lucky you finished the hardest step .. you will hear soon from NVC do not worry 😊

I'm only worried because they told me I am in Administrative processing, which is BAD. It usually means you will be denied. I just never heard of it happening at this stage, usually it's at the interview.
