I became a citizen today, I left the building crying and have been crying all day. It’s been such a long and testing journey. I feel like screaming from the rooftops because I have had to work for this.
 
I am thinking about getting the urgent passport because I do have travels coming up soon and I have no chill .

Hi everyone! I finally figured out how to use “quote” properly lol! But wanted to share an update! I had my interview yesterday in Dallas. The interview was short and sweet! Yesterday my status said that I was under quality review which took me under a deep rabbit hole of studying other cases but today I had another notification that my oath is scheduled for October 18th .

Woke up this morning and got “Oath Ceremony will be scheduled” notification and that’s 5 days after my interview. Very humbled and grateful to see some movement😊🙏🏽

It's a wrap. Took the oath and registered to vote yesterday, and applied for a passport today. Original plan was to go to the SSA office after the oath, but had to take the cat to the vet 🤷‍♀️ will go there when I have the passport. He said it currently takes 4-6 weeks. That's not too bad.

Hi everyone. I got my interview notice today and sending everyone positive vibes and hope everyone gets theirs asap. 

Nothing since the receipt notice? No biometrics or anything since then? Did you check what the processing times for Dallas are? Unless you're outside of their processing times there's unfortunately not much you can do.
