    Certain states should be sent to certain NVC- I’m trying to find the page to link it in.

    my husband is in Florida and ours “should have” been sent to Texas - but they sent to Nebraska

    give me a min to try and find the page unless someone else knows the link

    I know what link you’re talking about. I’ve come across it before. Where you plan to live in the states will dictate where your i130 gets processed.

    I tried looking for that web page  again but i can’t find it

  2. I tried to submit an inquiry for outside processing times and it actually accepted me to fill it out. My PD is June 25,2018. I noticed they changed the processing times dramatically. 1.5-7 months for some.. some from 9-12 and the “ receipt date for inquiry “ went backwards by a month.

    Somehow my inquiry got accepted through the system when it hadn’t before.

    we shall see what happens. Fingers crossed.

  3. I don’t know if you heard.. but Nebraska got severely flooded just over a week ago. 18 counties were asked to evacuate and Nebraska called to the govt for a state emergency. Nebraska got pummeled and they’re still expecting to be flooded through next week.

    Horrible news for everyone living in Nebraska.

    Selfishly, not great news for us Nebraska filers.

    Just call and ask to speak to the tier 2 officer. They can look into the case and see where it is. Our case status until now hasn’t updated on Uscis  and we are at NVC.

    I just said that I’m a member of a forum who are same date same center filers and many on same pd are getting approved and I’m wondering what the status is for our case? That’s what I said. Hope that helps!

    If I wouldn’t have called it would have taken until I received the letter in the mail until I figured it out.

    I’m just not that patent!

    I am absolutely not patient by any means. Haha it helps a lot ! I’ll wake up early tomorrow to be one of the first on the line !

    Thank you !

    Hello. In order to speak to a person. On the option where is asks if you have a number, listen to the prompts that say you can’t find it. It will take you to a human! Than when they answer give them the number and tell them that you wish to speak to a tier 2 representative! Hopefully this helps. Keep us posted.

    I am a June filer with Nebraska. I can check my status online.. so if my i130 petitions are still within normal processing times.. i ask for a tier 2 officer and say what ??  I want to know my status ? Or what do i say

    NO MATTER HOW I TRY; EVEN USING THE WEBSITE YOU PROVIDED, it does not show me the activities of the case.   Just shows My Case was received.   I tried to go under settings, pushed any and everything.   ugh

    But look at the date. It says that it was last updated Jan 31st. Everyone else’s status still says it was recieved. The date means they opened your file and it’s in a que of some sort. Still might be up to 60 days for you to see a status change.

    Everyone’s date says Jan 31st or feb 1st and no one knows what’s happened. Don’t panic. Lol

    Thats the old site, it will be slowly phased out.

    Check it on the new site: https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov

    Note: Currently some bug makes it such that you have to sign in twice.

    I didn’t know they were phasing that site out. I usually log into both of them to see what’s up.

    Is there any other site i should know about that i could log into ? Haha

    She only needs to be joint sponsor for any immigrants.  So your Canadian spouse.  Since you are a USC your children should also be USC and need a CRBA and us passport if you qualify to pass citizenship onto them.  If not then they would need their own petitions and I-864w since they'd become USCs as soon as they immigrated.

    Her household size will not include you or your children.  It will be her, her spouse, any dependents and your Canadian spouse.

    YOU = I-864

    MOM = I-864

    MOM's SPOUSE = I-864a

    My wife is a Canadian citizen and so are both of our children. They are my step children.

    It usually means they touched your case. Could be that it was scanned by one officer to work on, (s)he got assigned another task and scanned it to go back on the pile. So it could mean anything really. Don't get your hopes up too much that this means you hear something soon tho. You could, but it could also take a little while.

    On a few different threads and an i130’fb page I’ve seen at least 6 people with the same situation. I wonder what it all means. Can’t help but get too pumped when something’s finally changed. Haha

    fingers crossed
