Please provide the actual wording of the request. There can only be ONE joint sponsor in a spouse visa case. Words and terms have specific meaning here. Don't give us your interpretation. Give us the actual words. Makes no sense for them to request an "Additional Joint Sponsor". No such thing in a spouse case.
they asked me for second joint sponsor my current joint sponsor makes 70000 a year i asked the consular officer he said he does not find sufficient thats why he requested a second joint sponsor, its crazy so i had no choice to send another one with my passport which i did last week so i am waiting to hear from them....

Hi
my wife had her interview and their requesting an additional joint sponsor even though my father (joint sponsor) makes well over the minimum.
i started working this month after graduating school (hence no taxes filed and need for joint sponsor) and after the 221G uploaded my paycheck along with an offer of employment from my employer.
i also updated the 864A for my father to include the 3 properties he also owns.
the only other person i can add to as a joint sponsor is my brother who currently makes 25k and lives in the same household.
is all that enough? I’m really surprised that even though my father makes well over the minimum and i just started working, they want additional joint sponsor. I also will contact my congress rep to help hopefully since it seems like AP can vary greatly.
same happened to me my current joint sponsor make 70000 a year and they requested additional one so i had to send a second joint sponsor via aramex, cause there is no option to add second joint sponsor on CEAC ....wishing you the best.

I will be blunt
so, very sorry as i know you have been married and lived long together
but your issue is not with the embassy
your issue is income of you and wife
your wife was living in Morocco with you and jobs are scarce / even if she was able to work there, she would not have been making the needed level of income
she would have needed to make 202085.00 Moroccan dh and that's a lot of money in Morocco (for last 3 years as she is your main sponsor)
Casa will consider the main sponsor first
plus she would have had to make out US tax returns and pay into Social Security and medicaid out of this income
the embassy has also looked at your level of education to understand what type of job you could get in the USA
this all is what is meant by totality of circumstances for the interview
Now, looking at cosponsor, we do not know who (family of hers or yours or a friend)
we do not know the age of this person
if he/she is of an age where they will soon retire, that is what the embassy may see as a problem knowing soon the person will retire (this is just one of the things that could concern the embassy with your cosponsor). of course i do not know this but i do know many choose an older relative because the income is high.
all your wife can do is get a new cosponsor with good steady income as that is what the embassy has requested / your case will go nowhere till she does this
this requirement to show income is for your protection / you do not want to be in the US and have to live from pay check to pay check or end up needing government benefits to survive
is is not cruel of the embassy to do this /is is a requirement we have all had to meet
thank you jeanne adil you know how much we suffered from this process but we never give up until we are together again, my wife already looked for new joint sponsor who is 30 years old and working good, how much co sponsor need to make living alone ? also in the yellow documents they gave me it says affidavit of support and most recent tax so thats means 2018 , and W2 plus proof of us citizen is that correct ? another thing i loged in there is not option to add a new joint sponsor ?

If they feel it's not sufficient, you have to follow their instructions.
so its about feeling that means even documents show enough not accepted thats not fair my brother..what documents i need for new joint sponsor ?

Only the consulate officer can "approve" the I-864.........no one else.
but our current joint sponsor make enough, so where is the law ?

You said that was on last year taxes.
Your wife has a current income then...
Might be a langage issue, current=présentement/en ce moment. Amounts should be different than what it was in December 2018.
yes, my wife only work part time now, but our current joint sponsor make enough, also his income for 2019 is more 67000.00 as you know tax for 2019 is not ready yet, my question why he asked me to get new joint sponsor when our current make enough.....what your ideas ? and next step to do

hi i attended to my second interview my first interview was on march 2019 case was put in AP for domicile so my wife had to go back to US to resume her domicile she sent me all documents for domicile and i forwarded them to US consulate and i got a phone call for second interview i was asked same question how you meet so on.... at end of interview he gave me yellow document to submit a new joint sponsor i told him why he said he does not meet requirements i said no he makes enough and already was approved department of state, i tried to provide him with tax of 2018 which shows 67000.00 the consular officer refused to look at it i feel he is holding my case for no reason me and my wife been living together for 5 years and then went back to US now she has a job and domiciled , my current joint sponsor make in 2017 46000.00 and 2018 67000.00 he only support his wife and step son, i was told that to contact our congressman to inquiry why he refused our current joint sponsor when he make enough and qualified also i loged in to CEAC i still see my current joint sponsor it says accepted and there is no option to add any new joint sponsor, i am confused what do you suggest ? looking forward for your ideas

If I were you I would bring the copies of what was uploaded just in case. I would rather have information at hand and have them tell me it isn't needed verses them saying where is the information and it delays you even more.
thank you, i already sent them originals via aramex two packages, when the lady was speaking to me on the phone she confirmed me the reception of those documents, i asked her if i should bring any other documents she said no, we have everything your passport so on....i hope for issuing visa inshalah...

Sadly they have no time limit. My husband has been in admin. Processing for more than 300 days with no response. Today they returned his passport after 300 days without explanation.
They have no rules and frankly are a very disrespectful office the way they ha she their Phone calls. I’m astonished that we allow ourselves to be represented this way.
but what was the reason for AP ? it depends each case different i already submitted what they needed i see an update yesterday..

Just complete the DS-160 online, print the confirmation page at the end and bring that to your interview.
You will pay the visa fee of $265 in person at the consulate on the day of your interview.
yes thats true...

no one can answer this as your wife lives with you in Morocco and you do not post what proof you submitted for domicile in US
and to be honest the embassy can take as long as they deem necessary to investigate the documents you sent
AP is open ended
days or weeks or months
My wife lives in United State now
-
hi guys i just submitted proof of domicile to US Embassy in Casablanca Morocco i submitted one on CEAC, and sent hard copies by Aramex i already received confirmation of delivery from Aramex, how long it takes to hear from them ? i am waiting for my visa to be issued inshalah after inetrview my case was placed on AP for domicile so now they have everything thank you for your replies...

Save the file as PDF then suppress the file. It should be less than 2MB, OTHERWISE, they will reject it
