Hello
Does anyone knows when will US embassy johansberg will start immigrant visa interview.please help

No word on any re opening for visa services at the Consulate General. If you are spousal visa and at the NVC, they will set up appointment when it re-opens. Please update your timeline so we know what step of the process you are at. You can follow the news feed from the South Africa site for updates. https://za.usembassy.gov/news-events/

Just a Quick Question, i am starting off the CR1 after the K1 denial. Do we really need to complete the form I-130A as well as the I-130? A little confused on that part.

Police records - what is the time frame for this? How early do you need to obtain them? Or how late can they be dated? If they are in a foreign language (french) do they need to be translated?
Lastly, my fiancee is from Benin but lives in Ghana (the application will be submitted to Ghana) - do we need police records from both countries?
Best regards,
Erica

Generally they need to be less than a year old at the time of the interview and from the county of birth and any country lived in for 6 months or more. Each Embassy has a checklist of documents needed. Again the usually need to be in either english or the language of where the consulate is located. If they are translated they need to be done by a certified translator.
