  1. Good morning folks. I need to go back to bed.

I did and got to work late today. And I still need a nap.

I'll never take three weeks vacation again.

Zainab are you a little queasy  and have to go to the ladies room often  ?

    :secret:

add those with "nap in the morning :sleepy: " and that spells BABY ?????? :dancing:

  2. Sheesh, people....do I have to do everything for you???

Okay, there is a thread here on VJ and someone posted this into it:

Very interesting, I asked for the name of one African country and didn't see anything but your seriously and that you lived in one. Maybe you can come out with that country name and before you do, let me tell you about Ghana. Ghana is pretty and very much prettier then Liberia but they do have pit hole latrine in Ghana. People are coming from Ghana with infected asses full with rashes from those same latrines. Maybe the area you lived never had a that latrine but that doesn't mean that the entire do not have that latrine. I will say it again, NO AFRICAN COUNTRY RURAL AREA IS FREE FROM PIT HOLE LATRINE!

I wish to get the name of that country anyone wants to exclude from the above statement, no offense.

I took that little part of the sentence and laughed at how vulgar it sounded.

Yay, mother Omoba is here. Please protect me.

OH. The "just wanted to share...." post. I am lost...A bit confusing for me. I am enjoying my drama free, anger free, negative free time here in the cafe. I don't need to read other peoples drama to entertain myself in hopes of forgetting my own troubles... Not therapeutic for me :innocent::devil:

    Not for me either.

There are few things I will get into drama over, and one of them is people posting their ignorance about Ghana and other African countries all over the place. That is a battle NO ONE wants to get into with me

ETA: When I sit at my desk muttering the word "moron" to myself, that is not good

    I feel you Zee

After reading the first few post (I said out loud, huh? what the?); how creative a maggot filled pit toilet topic; ironically following LL's post with all the beautiful pictures of Africa. I looked at it as propaganda, and recognized that it was going to end up as a hot bag of smelly poop being dumped into a pit.

An email topic disguised as :innocent: (a just to let you know what is going on, check out Liberia's sanitation department, Africa is full of pit toilets topic) under the guise of helpful information :bonk: is very much in character.

Most of the people in this forum know that sometimes when you travel; you have to expect the un-expected and adjust. If you find yourself in a situation where pit toilets are the norm; you either hold your business until something else is available :help: , use the pit toilet :wow: , go to the bushes with some tissue :P , carry depends  or use it on yourself :content: .

What ever is your choice is your choice: No informative warning is required.

another thing the people with the rashes in the asses  ... obvioulsy made a poor choice

  3. Excuse my being vague.

I'm still delirious from my travels; and I'm still on Africa time.

I also just finished an online exam in Stats.

Oooooo, I'm sorry sweetie. I thank GOD I"m not in school right now! Sorry Asante.

Are you home Steph? What happened with the dresses? You've probably posted this somewhere, but I'm still catching up.

    Hey Zainab

I am glad you made it through your last two days, I know they were difficult for you.

Yes I made it home this weekend and my dress is 95 percent finished. You know Ghana it needs to be cleaned and ironed and i SHOULD PROBABLY LOOSE A COUPLE OF POUNDS (cause it is fitted and my train is way to long). But, other than that everything is good thanks for asking.

  7. I'm not too keen about chocolate.

I do like Symphony bars with the toffee and almonds though

I'm with you Zee. It is not that I don't like it, but it tends to be very, very sweet.

Mind you the Kingston bar from Ghana is very nice, it is really chocolatey with out the sweet.

  8. Thanks for all your compliments and well wishes. (F)(F)(F)(F)(F)(F)

Yeah, I'm excited!!!!! I can not wait to get home and show my mother... oh yea and husband :D

They have been calling me like crazy wanting to see picstures of the finished dresses...That is the only thing that kinda sucks..... I always thought when I would go shopping for my wedding dress, that I wouldl have my :crying: mother, sister and best girlfriends with me :crying: .

  9. Here are pictures of my Bridesmaids top with embroidery, they are not completely assembled yet; But I took pictures anyway. I know, I forgot to show the skirt. Also included are some pictures of my Traditional dress (K and I both have the same fabric in Kaftan style), and my after party dress the bright green.

Like a crazy women I forgot to take pictures of my own gown, but, it was not finished either.

    Thank you,

    Be honest with your opinions

  10. I received 2 RFE during my AOS. I received an RFE for Birth certificate twice, the first time I included documetation on the Biafra war and the chaotic turmoil of Nigeria's infrastructure at the time, the age declaration that K used to get his visa, his passport, drivers license and id card from Nigeria, also, I sent a 2 page cover letter explaining the documents. They then sent me a second RFE for afidavit of support and birth certificate. I sent an updated copy of the affidavit of support with K and my 2007 tax return (he had only worked 2 months), but only my income was used for the affidavit which was well over the limit. I also sent a cover letter stating that I have already sent the information regarding the birth certiicate.

No offense but your lawyer is lazy. He or she should know that alot of things can be expalined away. As Stevi has offered to give you the documents, I would have my lawyer respond giving a detailed explanation of your particular situation and include backup documentation. We need to remember that the people looking over our files are human, and they look for key items sometimes things get misplaced or they just don't see them or need clarification. In my opinion there has to be something they don't understand regarding your income, if you had proof that you made over $40,000 why would you need a co-sponsor?

I would show them Stevi's documents and if they give you another RFE than look into an alternative option.

AOS waiting is much easier your SO is here with you :D

What ever route you decide to take Good Luck with your approval.
