All other things aside with the beginning of your situation, you seemed to have worked that out in your mind and seem very comfortable. My main concern would be the time frame of your visit. I think that is a major red flag, I think that a first visit of five days and then submission of documents based on the 5 days may pose an issue. I know travelling can be difficult, but, if possible please try and visit again or a few more times as the K1 works its way throuth the approval process. Beause the problem will not likely happen with NOA2 approval but solely at the Embassy.
Everyone seems stuck on e-mails, and they are a good source of evidence. But, phone calls are as well. My SO and I did not have 10 usable emails between the two of us (well I did but he was typing in a sort of pidgeon text message language) and some of them were Xrated and private, I submitted about 3 or 4 of his emails. But I had a years worth of Pingo call logs that showed we spoke on the phone atleast 3-5 times a day. My point is that PINGO or phone logs can help substantiate a relationship not just emails.
I mentioned this because you seem to want to give your man less reasons to go to the internet cafe and just wantedx to make sure you kenw that emails are not the only evidence to prove relationship.
I wish you happiness and success with the pursuit of your journey.

Hello Henry fcb
If you are looking at foods and or dishes to cook.
Baked Chicken, rice and a vegetable.
Thaw the chicken pieces from the freezer and season the chicken (whatever seasons in cabinet that are nice) ... place in a pan in the oven at 375 degrees until done. If you place aluminum on the pan will make a water... if you don't... it make meat dry out.
Rice... you know how to make rice
Vegetable either frozen or can place in small pot add season (or plain) and heat up.

oh no , WD....I want him to just relax and get pampered .
You have no idea how bad things were around here...I had a lot of unused junk and clutter , so everything had to be cleaned out good to make more room.
i am with UNO he is coming to be with you not the house...... But I am saying this being married to a OCD clean freak.....My husband likes to spend quality time together claning up for FUN.......#######.....I think he is NUTs......however, I get my un-happy ####### up and clean.....
Nagi forget the tea and gatorade and have a nice stiff (no pun intended) tott of HOT "insert liquor of choice"....and enjoy the quiet....By next year you will understand the statement.
-
Nagi I am starting to think you are germ-a-phobic .....always cleaning up something or another
Sit back relax ......you will have plenty to clean in 18 days and beyond .......when your SO arrives he might give you a hand

Zee one of the best parts of having your wedding in Ghana is that..... your relatives have done most of the work.

CONGRATS

My husband went to pick up his package. I would wait atleast 5 days from its arrival at the embassy and then have him pick it up. If by chance it is not ready he can always find a cheap hotel off of the island and wait until it is ready. I would not wait for it to arrive in the mail.
CONGRATS on your NOA2 approval

AUGH!!!!!!!! I talked to my husband this morning!!!! I'm gonna be crazy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He was supposed to got o Ramallah and get his divorce paper that he needs from the court there. he was told it would be ready there to pick up. And he was going to aramex it to consulate.
But I called him today and he said no......he went to court and the court said why you come here, papers wont be ready til Tuesday and you dont pick them up here, it's in Nablus!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I told my husband you need to call Nablus court when you get home as he was still on bus. He said no the courts there close at 2. Huh? A business closing at 2???????? OMG I must've sounded horrible on the train on my way to work because I'm raising my voice at this point. How can you people work only from maybe 9-2 on maybe only 4 days a week while I work 60 hours and you people are so lazy over there and its no wonder you people are so messed up!! Seriously, the PA makes our government look like an Olympic speed skater!!!!!! We've been waiting on the papers now for over one week and the court told him he'd have it by the 18 which was fri. (but they told him pick it up on sunday since fri is Muslim day).
I'm ready to go back to Paletsine just so I can knock down the doors in nablus and talk to those people myself. We paid big money for this bs and when they say we'll have it we better have it. My husband knows me by now based on Jerusalem and me looking for work for him in Ramallah.....I'm ready to do anything now:) Don't mess with me:) Well, wait, I forgot my bank account is low. No money for new plane ticket to pali....oh those people got lucky!!!!!!!!! But even if I call them myself, they probably dont speak english:/ All I can say is YALA YALA YALA! And they'd be like "yala what?" lol
But from an economical standpoint, I'm finding it a bit stupid that business hours close at 2 though. No wonder thre so many people out of work there. No business stays open long enough to hire people;)
Sorry!!!!!! just sticking my .02 cents in.
"You people and those people" are your husbands people and any kids that may come from your union will share the same blood line. Throughout your topic you seem to make negative statements about your husband's countrymen, and through your post in general . Maybe you should re-think your views on "those people" and where you fit inside of the equaton and learn to be a little more open-mind when it comes to conducting business in other countriesespecially your husbands.
Outside of that, I hope everything works out for you and your husband.

Ricca The same thing happened to us... the downside is it took 4 weeks for them to send him a denial, and then we went to another office where they knew what an I-94 was and he had the social in 4 days. They often don't know the documents, but if they have you waiting for homeland security it might take a minute.
Sorry for the bad new.....

Hey girl how are you,
If it weren't for God I could not even breathe. It is HIM who sustains me through boot camp, tests and trials.
I would have jumped off the cliff a long time ago if He had not given me the strength to endure.
I still have about 40 pages of waiver stuff to read on another message board so I can stay on top of the lawyer who seems competent.
Hoping to hire her in about a month or 2 to start this mess.
Had an offer on the house from a turkish family but they are not coming up to my price so I def need a buyer soon.
Don't you need a vacation house in germany ?
As to the dogs, I have bred, exhibited at shows and trained dogs for 20 + years ( Dachshunds.....wiener dogs ) but have slowed down and these guys are still here.
Every once in a while I will breed a litter of sweet little babies but not often.
It is an Excedrin headache trying to find dog sitters when I am running around the globe to take care of things !
How is the wedding preps going ? When is the big day ?
The wedding is approaching 8/23 and I have yet to become Bridezilla......hey, and that is an accomplishment..
I seemed to be more anxious about this crappy Statistics course.....it SUCKS...
Now, I am just buying stuff that I don't need. I just purchased a glass card box with our names etched on it...... beautiful but impractical
But, I keep hollering broke when it comes to flowers. I want fresh flowers but, I want them good and cheap, real cheap..... My sister told me I was backwards .....is it wrong to purchase flowers from a funeral home?
A few of the dresses needed some small alterations but nothing more than 10 minutes of sewing..... on the other hand my dress had to be cleaned before I could wear it...... that damn red Ghana Dirt / Sand was all up in my lace.
Glad to see you are holding down the waiver and not relying on a lawyer to give you all the information......
I'll keep your approval at the top of the prayer list.
-

Communication and cultural acceptance and appreciation by both are neccessary for the relationship to thrive. My SO and I have gotten to a point where, when others hear or conversation they might think we are speaking a foreign common language, but not so. We have this hybrid language of Igbo, Queens English, American English, Ebonics and Pidgeon.

I go to Ghana Fest every year it is a nice laid back event.
-
I would love to have twins or triplets for that matter.
I told my SO that he has one shot (no pun intended) of me being pregnant, so, he needs to use it wisely.
Where are these fertility doctors and how do I get some of those pills?

I am a fan of Frankies in Osu 2 blocks from Papaya and 2 blocks from Danquah circle, the rooms are $60.00 a day but that includes a free full breakfast of your choice. You don't have to book online, you can reserve a room and they will hold it for you.
Please Help!! Confused and Don't Know Where to Begin...

AM your crazy "The more freaky the better"...
You showed them the real deal... probaby caused them to blush .
In that instance I was a bit of a prude , I did not give them any of the juicy details .
But I would have loved to see their reactions looking through your pics and emails.
