Im a US citizen and FT lauderdale immigration has by far the longest lines if you arrive at the wrong time. I waited for almost 3 hours one time. Miami is a long wait as well sometimes. There is a high volume of people who fly in. I can't speak to what the process is like in Ft. Lauderdale for non-citizens or prospective residents. I don't think they are rude, I just think they are understaffed and have a huge workload. Try flying in during off hours. Most of the Europe flights pour out from 3:00-6:00 so those hours are worst. Mornings usually aren't to bad. Hope this helps.

Does anyone have a rough idea of how long it's taking from submitting all your documents to case complete? Im so restless 😆

Mine was 12 days!

I submitted through mail on the 14th, received by nvc on the 17th got my case complete today 27th. For me roughly 11 days

Hello, The birth certificate was wrong and the marriage certificate was not uploaded correctly. :/. Hoping we both hear back hear this week. Good luck!!

From what I have seen it's normally quite quick after re-submission... why did they ask you to re-submit your marriage & BC?

Thanks for the info! A few days is my guess? Yeah even the NVC help line said it would be quick. The marriage certificate was scanned upside down ( and I guess they can't flip it over) and the birth certificate was a poor quality scan. Today we are resubmitting all of the documents so I am hoping by the end of the week. Our embassy is a low volume embassy , So I am pretty sure after CC we will hopefully get an interview date.

Also, a note from my experience. Make sure everything you upload is oriented correctly ( the page needs to be right side up and a excellent quality scan, it cannot be upside down) and make sure to CAREFULLY read what document is needed from each section. There is a handy document finder tool on the NVC site which says what is needed for each country. If all else fails just call the NVC (603-334-0700) Best of luck.

We ended up getting lucky and found an embassy which allowed us to file. At first we filed the wrong document, but were eventually able to have the Judicial purposes penal record sent. The embassies say that you cannot request penal records from them, but if you ask nicely in person they should be able to give it to you. If you asked the NVC then they would probably be best at telling you what you need. Best of luck

Hoping to be as lucky as you! Our NOA 1 is 11/28 and was received on the 24th. Hoping to hear back by mid june. Me and my wife are in our early 20's and are hoping we get quick approval. 

Im a december 17 filer. I always check november forum to see how far along. A couple of people from December have been approved. Prayers to all.

Yeah my lawyer is good, she helped me with all of that as well. I have another friend who worked in government and has worked with USCIS and now does a lot of work with family visas. They told me that we should hear around the 6-7 month mark (wether that be an approval, denial or RFE) I heard that they are working on ones from OCtober/Early november from 2017 and apparently K3 visas are being reviewed which were filed in October of 17'. Normally K3's are approved along with the I-130's so Its possible we hear back by Late June/July. We are lucky we filed in 17 and not 18 because I hear that now the wait times are even longer
