  1. We'll be sending our papers in 10 days. Waiting for the right date.

I was surprised though, last week we received a simple letter from USCIS reminding us to remove the conditions. I was always told that they did not do that. It was a nice surprise, well except that they never updated our change of address (even though I did the forms and all). So I called and they said that as long as I put our right address on the new forms we'll send to remove conditions, then it's not an issue at all.

So much for pressuring people to do the change of address!

I received too :) Will sent our paperwork on April 28 :)

  2. Thank you!

Hang in there it will end soon..Im praying with you!!

Congratulations..I'm so happy for you!!! :dancing::dancing::dancing:

Just waiting for any kind of news here

    Congrats!!

we are still waiting on our congressman to find out if our interview can be moved up before my wife starts her new job in a different state.

Thank you, I hope everything works out for you n ur wife...GOOD LUCK!!

congratulations!!!!!!!

  3. So we're approved!

I'm so happy thats over with!

Here's the run down of how it went:

So we got to the Interview place at like 8:30 our interview wasn't till 9:30...and we got called in a 9:45.

(we were watching people go in and out I was amazed at how many people had lawyers and translators)

We get called we go in. A lady interviewer greets us (she was very nice...I was having the worst hot flashes in the waiting room so I probably looked wiped out) We go into her office she asks me if I feel okay...she says shes already had one lady go in to labor in her office and she doesn't want anymore to...lol

I tell her I'll be fine. And then she swears us in. The interview begins she verifies all our info. We change our address with her since we just moved and give her a copy of our lease. She adds my SSN to the file. She asks my husband and I each others birthdays...how we met...what he thought when he first saw me....if I like my MIL....if we have any more evidence to add to the file....I had already given her the apartment lease so I give her that and new bank statements, new pay stubs, health insurance paperwork, and show that I have an album to look through (she never did...I was kinda disappointed)

She then tells us that we have supplied her with more than enough evidence and that she is approving our case and that i should expect to receive my green card in 2- 3 weeks. She then explains that its a conditional card because we haven't been married for 2 years yet...and when to reapply....she also says that if we provide them with as much info as we did for this interview we might not need another one.

I am so happy to be done!

I was kinda freaked out by the other people going in and out some didn't look so happy when they left!

We got the card production email when we got home last night !

    SO excited!!!!

I definitly recommend being organized...she liked that we were...she could just ask me for something and I'd have it right away.

And definitly be prepared for anything....my husband is horrible with dates and he got both the date questions...my birthday and when we got married...he knew them but on the spot its so hard to think right away.

Good luck everyone with your upcoming interviews i"m sure you'll do great!

Congratulations!!!!!    Yesterday I received a Welcome letter :)

  4. Omg my interview is tomorrow....I still have to organize all the paperwork I'm so nervous...I have complete pregnancy brain....I'm afraid there going to ask me something simple and I won't know the answer or they'll go through the list of questions and I'll say yes to being a prostitute or something (obviously i"m not) and I still have to find soemthign to wear I'm almost 31 weeks nothing fits thats dressy....oh stress!

Good luck  Everything is gonna be ok :star:

  5. Look what I got....

    Current Status: Card production ordered.

On July 22, 2008, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register."""

Finally!!!!!!!!!!!

  6. I almost forgot to check the USCIS website this morning but remembered at the last minute and still nothing on the EAD and AP but screw that because...

Application Type: I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

    Current Status: Card production ordered.

    !!

I never expected that. I was ready for the long wait and was just impatient about not getting the EAD yet.

Maybe that's why nothing ever happened with the EAD? So cheer up my fellow vjers without EADs perhaps the USCIS just isn't wasting time producing things you won't need? My fingers are crossed for you guys!

Good luck to everyone still waiting, I'm sending good vibes for all of you!

    -b

Congratulations!!!!   Now you don't even need this EAD

  7. 10 Year Green Card Received!!! I wish all the best for those still waiting!!!!

Congratulations!!! But why 10 years? or it is second green card? As for me.... nothing from USCIS... We mailed the reply on second RFE on Thursday via express mail... I checked through USPS website and it said that package was delivered on July 10th. same day I got 1 touch on I-485 on USCIS website, but it had same message "C. Please follow the instructions on the notice to submit the requested information. This case will be in suspense until we receive the evidence or the opportunity to submit it expires. Once we receive the requested evidence or information and make a decision on the case, you will be notified by mail. If you move while this case is pending, call 1-800-375-5283 to update your address....".... Still can't understand why I-485 got a touch, but there is same message.... Tomorrow we need to call them and check... very confused...

Hi Elmira. It's the first. We've been married since 7/17/2003. Your touch was probably them getting your 864 back in the file. You probably won't get another touch, just your approval. Remember a touch doesn't always change your status. That's why it still says the same thing from June. Hang in there. It will come real soon!!!

Ah... ok... now I understood :) Today I called to USCIS and they confirmed that received our package .. and as soon as I called them I got touch and message was changed to "On July 16, 2008, we received your response to our request for evidence. We will notify you by mail when we make a decision or if we need something from you. If you move while this case is pending, call customer service......".. so let's see what is next

  9. :dance::dance::dance:Welcome Letter Received :dance::dance::dance:Thank You Lord!!!!!!

    Great, congratulations!!!! :D

Congratulations!!!! As for us... I resent everything today as a reply to RFE.... We needed to resign I-864 + we added my income + we included some additional papers as a copy of our bank statements including bank statements of joint sponsor... so hopefully we will hear something soon.. we needed to wait for my boss return from vacation so he signed my employment verification letter... we are still upset that USCIS asked everything again what we sent with original package.... sorry I haven't been online for a long time as I was extremelly busy.... Congratulations again to everyone who got approval... so I guess I am the last one without approval

  10. Guys.. got RFE in snail mail today... and guess what... they asked for the same taxes we sent already with first RFE!!!!!!!! We have no idea why they do all that with us!!!!!! + they told us that our Affidavit of support signature expired because we signed it 6 months ago! It is lie as we signed it 4 months ago!!!!!! So i guess you never will prove to UCSIS that you are not stupid... Just gonna sing new Affidavit and send same papers (Taxes) we sent before, but my husband is gonna attach letter saying that we already sent all that with 1st RFE in April.... AHHHHH!!! it is so stupid!!!!!!! can anyone explain me that????

That's just plain wrong. You've got to love the efficiency of government!!!!!!!
