Best advice I can give u. Stay busy!!!!!!!
just over 6 months for myself and looking back it’s been pretty quick. But, I stayed busy doing projects around the house, working, searching for more info, helping friends, (did I mention working?)
dont sit there begging for  approval asap. Most it won’t happen for. A select few will get lucky tho. 
Keep ur heads up and look on the bright side of it all. 
1 day u will look back at this and be like (sh*t, did all the worrying for nothing). Lol

I put everything in the package that I possibly could just due to Cuba being considered a higher fraud risk. I believe that her birth certificate, her police letter, and her medical/vaccination history are the only documents utilized in the entire process (not just USCIS portion) that were not in the package. The folder weighed a little over 7lbs as it included an approximately 100 page Word document of chronologically ordered photographs, each with annotations explaining the date, individuals in the photograph, and what was going on at the moment (many photographs included family members to demonstrate seriousness of the relationship). I also included a Facebook messenger history that took up about 60 Word document pages, with three chat screenshots per page. The messenger history was spaced to show that we communicated in this manner several times a week. A dozen screenshots of video chats were also included. The final large piece of the package was a complete history of phone records to show daily communication, whether long or short phone calls. I use an application called Keku that offers lower calling rates, so I just went on their website and printed the complete call record/transaction history. As far as frontloading goes, I also prematurely included the I-134 affidavit of support along with its evidence (bank letters, employment letter, investment account information, 3 years’ tax transcripts, etc.). I proved the requirement of visiting in the last 2 years with flight reservarion emails and annotated passport stamp photocopies. Like I mentioned earlier, all of this checked a dozen times and placed into an accordion folder with color coded tabs separating sections and then separating the evidence chronologically. My biggest worry was that the nature of the US/Cuban relationship would result in more scrutiny and RFE delays, so I stacked the petition to a laughable point, but because of this I made sure to be extraordinarily organized so it wasn’t just an eyesore that no one wanted to get around to. My goal was to have documentation that would answer absolutely every question or doubt and that it would be broken out in a way that the reviewer could easily find that proof within the package. Fiancée and I are both under 30 years old with no marriage or criminal histories. Hope that helps, good luck!
 
P.S. To people saying they’ll check online every day, my status online has still not been updated even though the letter was mailed to me five days ago. I checked every day online religiously to no avail, but I accidentally saw that my roommate had collected the mail and left a USCIS letter for me on the dining room table.

USCIS received my i129f package on 6/29/2018 and approved it on 7/29/2018. I just received the i797 in the mail today (the status did not update on the website yet). I am petitioning to bring my Cuban fiancee to the U.S., and I sent a very much front-loaded and well organized accordion folder as my i129f package. This was sent to the California Service Center and somehow got approved in one month's time- not sure if it was purely luck, or if the very thorough and organized nature of the submission helped. Just figured I'd post here to inspire some hope that the 5-7 month timeline might be shorter than you expect! 

Omg...isn't that amazing!!! This has given me so much more anticipation. Thanks for the update. Now I'm going to keep looking on updates every 2 minutes...🤣🤣🤣🤣

Me either. I mean we'll spend an amazing Christmas and New year haha 😃 but hopefully is sooner. 

The dates you see here are from actual people getting approved (or RFEs). The date on USCIS' site is the boundary for when your case is officially outside of normal processing time. Which is going to be about a month behind the newest case worked on, usually.

You need to use technology in order to make it easier for example we have "date nights" we video call each other and have some wine, we make a toast we dance, we play is really so fun. Also movie nights we watch movies at the same time and we comment it on phone. You can create experiences that will let you feel you're closer 😍😍 last time apart then forever together 

Hello June Filers. So happy to find people in my same situation. I feel obsessed with this process haha I really wanna get approved and be with the love of my life soon. NOA1: June15th  so I did the time line and we will hear neews about it around December.... Just be patient 

The moods Ok, Unfortunately because I was denied a B1 visa with work for BS reasons I'm unable to get an ESTA. So that means we have to meet in good auld Canada! So mood goes up and down. It's funny I find myself wanting the summer to end because that means we're 2-3 months closer to being together. We have a few trips planned for September, November and December so we have a bunch of exciting times ahead!
 

I have the same problem! I know that now i have to wait and the wait worth it.
But then I look to timeline and my mood goes down!  My fiance is on Guam already and we will not meet till i get visa and join to him on Guam.

In our case we were always together - approaching 3yr anniversary (September). Though, in October T. has  to finally move back to US and we will see each other after I will be granted a K1.

No...They just made sure that you filled out the important bits, signed and paid. They do not "evaluate" your case at Lewiston. Any RFE's will probably start coming for cases based on your NAO1 in mid to late December...

Here up and down too. My fiance travelled from NY to see me in May. For us, it was too short compared to the time we have been apart already. 
We have an 8 years relationship, always together, this is the ultimate tests for our love, and this is making us be more United than ever, we miss each other so much, it's hard but we are strong, our love helps us pass through all this.
Hope everyone gets their k1 aproved,  in our case my fiance can't travel again to see me because his job, so we will have to wait 5 or 7 months until we meet again...which makes it harder for us, who else is in the same situation? How do you deal with this?, It will be really helpful and nice to know how other people in the world try to deal with this k1,  I really would like to have the chance to see him often, while this process goes on, but I know we have to wait and this is what makes me sad sometimes.

My mood has been up and down, I have gone to see my loved one at the beginning of the month, and going back this weekend. Won't be going back until end of August. 
I have to say, we have it pretty good compared to couples having to wait months to be together in person.
Not complaining there, just wishing we could be together permanently soon!

Great!! Very prepared. What documents if I may ask? I've stopped prepping the Affidavit of Support, I was going crazy preparing and then thinking I still have to wait 5-6 more months.

I spent today driving across three states to get certified documents for the interview. I could have done it by mail but I needed the adventure and it helps pass time) I am traveling back at the end of August. Roxan is going to have her CFO interview on the 4th of September. It will be good practice for her) It is hard to believe my first k1 was approved in 43 days))) I guess we all just have to persevere and keep a positive outlook.
