My wife's entry was easy. We were supposed to go in separate lines but the guy let me go with her because she doesn't speak English. We didn't have a package because we did it electronically. They just took our passports and said we had to do a little more processing because this was her first time entering. After waiting in the customs/security section for about 30 mins while they reviewed things they called us to the desk and said you can go. No questions asked. Out the door we went to get our luggage and off to the hotel while we waited on our morning flight home.

Im so glad I took it with me and it was in the embassy check list.

Congrats! Whew! Good thing you were able to get it. Yeah your checklist is different because that wasn't in ours. 

My wife picked her visa up two days ago. Going to get her in two weeks. It's been a long journey. So excited to see the month of March finally able to be with thier loved ones.

If you are taking pictures check your resolution setting on the phone. No need for high resolution pictures for the documents.

Im uploading civil documents for ds260

It is only allowing me to upload my husbands birth certificate which is foreign. Did you guys upload the English translations in the "optional documents" section? And same for my information like my birth certificate, passport photo, and biographical passport page?

 

I uploaded originals and the translation to each in its section with it. Just create a PDF file with multiple pages and then upload it. So for instance Pg 1 is the original and Pg 2 is the translation.

Actually I didn't register with Aramex until after midnight the day of the interview. So in other words I was late in doing so. Me nor my wife knew about it until the day of the interview when they asked why she hadn't done it yet. She said everyone else had came with their receipt. But it's not a "requirement" for the interview. You can still do it after the interview. If you do it after the interview make sure it's BEFORE midnight so nothing is delayed.

It shouldn't need to be compressed. Actually none of my documents needed to be compressed. What file type are you using?

Yes, CEAC

Status changed from ready to issued yesterday. Just waiting for the mail service to deliver it now.

We're waiting for them to call her when it's ready. It can take up to two weeks. However, I've seen most say they got it in a few days. I'm submitting my vacation now for the second week of March. I'll stay there a week and then we'll be off to start our new lives together in the US.

A scanned or photocopy of the inked signed signature pages are fine. The wet signature is no longer required. Just letting you know to possibly save you money on shipping.

How long did it take you to receive interview date? 

2 weeks

So my wife just finished her interview just now and was granted her visa. They didn't even look at any of our "proof". They asked for the necessary documents and asked her a few questions. She said it was 5 min or less.

Accepted is completed. Mine never said case complete.

Based on this the wet ink is no longer required. Scanned and photocopies are acceptable. However, electronic signatures aren't.

What if it was signed electronically? Because I did my form electronically which has to be accepted by law now. My wife's interview is in the morning. Lol.

You have to download the from online first. Once you fill it out you can upload it.

did you uplaod your wife’s COPY of her birth certificate and COPY of your marriage certificate? Can it be black and white copy ? 

Just take a picture of the stuff then crop the edges and upload them and you should be fine. Or use a free scanner app on your phone.

You take the originals with you to the interview. 

Hey everyone! Hope all is well and this message reaches you in the best of health and good spirit. Just recieved my wife's interview notice for February 16th.  So it only took 2 weeks to get a date scheduled for Morroco.
