Finally we received approval!!!  My fiancee did not receive the notification email, but I did.

NOA2: Aug 27

Well i guess they are working hard right now on all of us. And in one go will rain approvalsssssssssssss.  

I guess USCIS now has a new set of rule of processing time.
 
Widow/Widower: 3-5months
 
Divorcé/Divorcée: 5-7months
 
Single: 8-12months

We are feb 9 new site. Looks like they are skipping first weeks like they do every month and starting from mid of month. Hope they get back on first two weeks. 😞

This is exactly what im talking about for some reason initial week gets slow approvals. My fiance was sad today about still no movement. I feel that the hardtime is gone. Almost 6 months we waited now the wait ahead of us is nothing. I check just once a day uscis website. Eventually we all will be together with our love. If not in oct then nov or dec. What really bummed me was why first week suffer always. Good luck to you girl hope you get approved coming week.

I’m not saying they haven’t “missed” people.   Just going by the sheer numbers.   If you look at the list, there are loads of 2/5 and 2/6 approvals.

Correct. I wont panic till september. 

Yes there were few. USCIS approves few petitions per date. But this is only according to VJ’s data. But who knows? 🤷‍♀️ 
 In hindsight, I guess we should just extend our expectations to 250ish day, this will help us to become more calmer and less stressful in this long and winding journey. 

Igor's list has a gap on the 8th and 9th of February

I checked your timeline and it was displaying that you might get status update before 14th August. Have you called USCIS or submitted the inquiry? As VJ shows that you should call to ask about your petition? Please share your thoughts on the same. 
 
And congratulations everyone who got approved. Anyone from India? I know about Sanjana, we got same NOA 1 date. Anyone else here?

Speaking of decorating to pass the time when we arrive at our SO’s house/apartment. He has this poster up in the bedroom. That is coming straight down when I get there........😂😂😂

Yeh correct. I think scans were helpful and yet stressful. We have nothing. No scans only website which again seems blah. Feels like we are floating in the open sky, clueless. Still chilled out. 😁

Yeh i get all that. Though previous months had quite a bit done arounf this time. Anyway one positive aspect about this group is everyone is really calm and patient. Which motivates rest of all to be same way. 😊

Couldn't agree with u more. Seen past months where I would of went completely nuts with how people were reacting. Seems since scans went away people for the most part have calmed down. Maybe it's due to the mass number of approvals being seen with scans. Now we only see what people post on here.
