I called twice in May and got no info either. They just said "yes, you're on the waiting list." Depends on who answers I guess. Also what they know at the time. 

Yay!! I just called now and got my interview date as well  My case was complited on April 18th and interview scheduled at July 16 at Dhaka, Bangladesh embasy. I recomend everyone here to call NVC today for your interview date. I still didn't get the eamil, i guess it takes 24 hours to receive the email. Goodluck everyone. I pray for you all... God is great!! :))

Called this morning and got interview date for July 2nd. You should call and find out. I still haven't received the email yet.

So when we found out NVC did not have our waiver approval notice, an NVC sup had to get involved. It took about approx 4-6wks to finally get approval to NVC. This took place while our packet was still in queue to be reviewed, so everything was happening simultaneously.
 
It takes so long to get waiver notice from USCIS bc they (NVC) requests them in batches, so they arent just waiting for USCIS to send your 1 waiver, they are requesting and waiting for many at a time. Apparently this happens all the tim. Smh. 
 
NVC told my husband not to leave country without waiver. If they didnt have waiver by the time it was time to schedule our interview, they were going to delay our interview. You must have that waiver, (if applicable) or visa will be denied and applicant stuck in MX. 
 
And yes, keep fighting. This process is for warriors only! And the bible says, we are more than conquerors through Christ. AMEN! 🤗

Did you get an email or text with tracking number? Did you pay the immigrant visa before your husband crossed over again?

I’ll try tomorrow after work. I was at work today when this came out, and I figure NVC phone lines are swamped this evening. No wonder!  I want to call but I can wait one more day. I wonder how long it takes to receive the email? Anybody know?  maybe I don’t want to wait that long, lol.

Sorry I just saw your comment but I also saw your husband got approved congratulations to the both of you! How exciting!! My husband got approved last Tuesday and got his passport back on Thursday at about 3pm Juarez time so I'm sure your husbands case will be the same 

That is crazy. I always figured to when they do the fingerprints here they check for all that, we might just get the live scan just in case. I didn't even think of pictures! Id rather send him over prepared and not get scrutinized if not needed, it is already so nerve wrecking for them as it is.
 
What? They didn't give you back your pictures? Why would they want to keep those? LOL Maybe they will send it back to you in the mail.
 
Thanks again for answering my questions, this forum is the best and I am the same way, I am willing to help anyone I can, since I know this process is so overwhelming and can not wait for it to be over! 

He said they did. He didnt have either. We contacted NVC several times asking about this and they  said bc my husband came before 16 he would not need it. We asked NVC what to say if/when they ask at the consulate. NVC said to tell consulate its not needed for this case. Even though he was sent to the black chairs, he was still approved. Maybe they just ask everyone, honestly, IDK. 
 
They asked him for pictures at the first window as well. One guys' pics were rejected bc they were "too dark", Im assuming that means no flash. As of yet, pictures not returned. I hope we get them back bc they were my scrapbook pages. (I look to scrapbooking, so Hobby Lobby gets all my money, lol). I sent hubby with about 5 scrapbook pages of pics front and back. Pics of us with friends, family, wedding pics, just us being silly, us at church.

My husband picked up his Visa this morning! Our interview in Santo Domingo was Wed 5/23, status changed online to Issued the following day and we received the email on Friday 5/25 it was ready for pickup. Was pleasantly surprised how quick it was! We were vacationing after the interview so he just go the chance to pick it up today. We just paid the green card fee so now everything is all set!  So happy!!!

Thank you all so much. More good news from CDJ.  My husband said his interview was about 10 mins, while the same lady that did his interview kept one guy for 40 mins. He said, they are meticulous and take their time going through the papers they're interested in.
 
 

My husband's interview was this morning in CDJ and praise God ALMIGHTY  he was approved!  Interview time was 8:45am and he just got out about 30 mins ago (after 1pm CDJ time). 
 
I checked Ceac and it already says issued.  I'm confused on what happens next. Where will the tracking number be sent and will we get back our pictures and papers?
 
Where do I pay the VISA  fee?

Called NVC today was told they just started scheduling for the next round of appointments in CDJ/Mexico today!

My husband's interview was on May 24th in barbados and he got approved!!!! Now its time too prepare for him to be here in two weeks!!!

My dear VJers, I am now officially a US permanent resident. I got into America last night at 8:45pm Est. 
POE Atlanta. 
Everything went very smooth from filing at uscis, to nvc, to interview and then POE. The whole journey from start to US entry took me 1 year and 4 days.. It is the Lords doing. I wish the rest of you Goodluck while I go start a family with DH  

It's depressing and stressful! It's even worse when your husband isn't even in the same country with while the appointment is scheduled...😥😭

Hey, imasunshine, did you receive your email about cc on MArch 5? I did, and that’s what I put on the spreadsheet, but then when i called NVC to bug them, they saud my cc was Feb 26? Thought maybe I should change my date on the spreadsheet because of others who are depending on it for hope of when to expect their appointment. 
Hoping and praying with the rest of you all that we get an appointment this round, as well as a thumbs up when we do go to CDJ. I keep worrying they’ll find something to deny. Prayers up to all❤️

We are almost there, finished my medical yesterday and praise God I have passed my medical exam, all in one long day..... 
 
Next is interview on June 4, but in between is prepping for all things I need to bring any thoughts? Or copy of common lists to bring is much appreciated..... God bless all....
