My husband has a job offer in Saudi Arabia. He is now in Jordan. We filed all our stuff in Nov I and Dec 129. I got the first NOA for both (DEC and Jan) and we still are waiting for the second. I thought that as long as he gets back for the interview, it doesn't matter what country he is working in.

My friend thought he had to stay put in Jordan till it is all done.

Anyone know?????

I really like alltel. They have great customer service and are good to deal with. Their plans are actually pretty good. I really liked them.

Where I work now we get a discount however for Sprint... lol how are they?

If you want to use messengers, yahoo messenger sends SMS easily! I had cingular and we could both reply to each other. Very seldom did we have problems. I'm not sure what carrier he used though.

I have used IPIPI.com for text messaging. It was pretty inexpensive. However, during this past year my DH was unable to respond to any of them. My cell phone carrier (alltel) does not send sms to Jordan. Are there any companies out there that work in Jordan? Does anyone use SMS companies like IPIPI?

I didn't have a lazy day today. I woke up energized and ready to clean up today as my house looks like a bomb went off in it. I woke up too early and didn't want to awaken anyone so I watched the movie, "A Prairie Home Companion". One of the worst movies I have ever seen second perhaps to any teen age movie. It made no sense what so ever. Anyways... I cleaned and threw out tons of stuff, used bleach to clean the bathroom, rearranged my living room, dining room. Decided I am going to repaint the kitchen (didn't do that today tho). Put up curtains in the living room, nice and lacy! Did 5 loads of wash.

My daughter asked me if I was thinking of doing the dishes as I didn't do them since Friday. I told her on Friday that I wasn't going to do them anymore. I have three girls living in the house. NONE are BABIES! Their arms are not broken. She then stated it was MY JOB as a mom to do it. I HAVE NO IMPLEMENTED A NEW REGIME. IF YOU USE A PLATE IT MUST BE RINSED AND PUT IN THE DISHWASHER. IF YOU COOK YOU CLEAN UP AFTER YOURSELF YOU DO NOT LEAVE IT FOR ME. Lets see how this goes!

Now I am tired, and ache. I want to go to bed!!!! No passing go or collecting $100.00. I need tomorrow off to recover! LOL!

Ok when It was bad it was bad......

However I wondered how everyones moan and groans turned out?

For me... With my tax return I got the car fixed, got insurance, paid some of my bills.

I started a job two weeks ago and I am loving it!!! My first check is March 2nd!

I am no longer sick, but am on antibiotics as a precaution yet for another week!

I am planning my trip in June to see my DH (doing happy dance!)

How did things turn out for every one else?

I got pregnant in Nov of 2006 just a few months ago. We decided I should come back to the USA for the pregnancy. I miscarried a month later.

We want to have a baby. I am 41 and time is running out. It will be okay if nothing happens as we both have children. THe pregnancy was unexpected and before that we had decided we didnt want any more. How things change huh?

I am going back in June and hope it will work this next time! If not, we wait till he is here!

I have used many things as I usually I do not ovulate on my own.

I have used this before. you look for ferning with the saliva however. For me it wasnt good enough. Alot of things can change the results. I bought the clear blue easy fertility monitor on ebay new pretty cheap. I started out with the saliva thing, moved to ovulation sticks, and then to the monitor which I adore!!!!!

Thanks for this thread, JayJay! My husband and I are trying to conceive, and the whole thing can be a little overwhelming. I am using an ovulation predictor called Ovulite. It tests patterns in your saliva. Anyone heard of this or tried it? It's really very interesting!!

I'm praying to conceive this year, Lord willing....

I'll ship all of you my son's packet of fee charts from West Virginia University and see how you feel about babies after that.......

My husband is not strict muslim. However he wants our children raised muslim. I am christian. I dont think any religion is wrong as long as long as they are good people and follow Gods basic laws which are basically the same in every religion.

I also figure that religion is personal. If you feel more "one" with God being Muslim so be it, the same with Christian...

Wendy i am assuming there is a yemen consulate in Jordan. I am sure he can go there and ask especially if he can't travel there.

My husband lived in Yemen while attending college, this was three years ago. It is impossible for him to go there...how can this be done???

My husband thought i was younger then i am. I thought he was older. When i found out he was 11 years younger I thought well you know, it isnt going anywhere due to where we lived ect...

One thing I have noticed is that there seems to be, so far, a higher proportion of women who are older than their husbands/fiances etc.

Before anyone leaps on me I shall add that there's nothing wrong with this! I was just wondering how many met online and is this a contributing factor? Maybe because meeting online tends to be a "words only" kind of thing, rather than a face to face meeting, you tend to decide on the personality rather than seeing the age.

I hated the heat too! There wasnt ANYTHING nice about how hot and sweaty I was. I was thinking because I will be there only a short time I could get a hotel with AIR that maybe had a good bed. We broke our last one..hehehehehhe

When I go back, I want to go sometime between November and February...I can't stand the heat ..I was there in December 2004 and it was not cool enough for me lol... I don't see much'a difference between getting tickets from here or from Jordan..either way is totally expensive!

Thank you I am going to email them tomorrow and see what they can do. I know it is peak season there at that time but there has to be somehow to get around the really high prices.

Wendy, Check at Adam Travel or Manara Travel in Dearborn. They have the best ME/Na rates.
