  1. Honestly I hope it does, out of the woman who married at the same time I have... and trust me there was alot.... all but one married to get here and was used...

if it wakes one woman up and starts them talking...im all for it

I am sorry to hear about the issues in your life Heartland. I wish you a better 2009!

As for what you write, I do think there is a truth to it. I am sure it will open up a can of worms, though.

  2. Hello Ladies,

I want to talk to you about something serious... Internet dating. I have made many friends from on here...MANY! Out of all these marriages from the middle eastern marriages I know of ONE that is real. Where the man did not marry for the green card. I know I know I said, oh my husband didnt do that!!! But trust me , he did.

    Please think twice before marriage.

I am filing for bankruptcy, I am losing my house, I almost lost my children... God think twice!!!!!

I pray that any of you who even question ONCE that he may be marrying for the wrong reasons... think about it. Marriages where they marry an older woman is a HUGE red flag. Sorry ladies, but it is true.

    Good luck

  3. 10/2007 we applied for the work permit EAD. Because of a wrong check box it was denied. We reapplied with the AOS and waited.

Today we got a notice saying that the original case was denied and a letter was sent explaining this. Nothing pertaining to the refiled work permit

Does this mean no matter what he cannot get a work permit???????????????? Do we have to wait for AOS? What happens now?

  4. thank you Irene, I am it seems, never online. I am just so busy between work and home now... I dont even have time to think!!!!

How did he get a job working for the military? My husband is of course going nuts without a job!

How are things with you? God I miss talking you you ladies!!!

    Hi Wendy,

Sorry I dont have answers to any of your questions, but, it's good to see you online here again. I pray that your life will be as loving and exciting as mine. My husband has been here 7 months now and has a really good job working for the military. He still smokes but has cut back just a little. If I come across any info, I'll gladly share it.

    Have A Happy Rewarding Life,

    Irene

    Thanks for your help.

  6. I have a question along the same lines....

My husband applied for his EAD 11/25/2007 we got the noa last week.... can we go down and get his ssn and have it not for work on it, then when we get the EAD we can go back and have it changed?

Also I bought my three yr old step daughter here... can I file for a card for her too?

  7. it seems as thou all middle eastern men smoke. My husband knows we cannot afford it here as the price is so much more..

I was looking into the lazer therepy. Cost in Michigan is about 300.00 Has anyone stopped smoking this way?

I know it will be stressful enough ajusting here without the whole not smoking thing going on please share what you have done.

  10. My husband interviewd in July. He was told he needed original papers as well as a court paper stating he had full custody of his daughter.

We did all that and returned all papers with the passports.

They contacted us and said they will not accept the police report from Yemen as it wasnt formatted correctly.. after a few emails they accepted it.

They then contacted us telling us they wanted a noterized paper from the mother of his daughter that he was allowed to take her out of the country. We couldnt get that as the div papers and court papers stated it was an abandonment issue and she wasnt even in the country anymore...

After a few emails, that was accepted.

They said we were in admistrative procedures... which I took to mean and they sorta said paperwork to complete the whole visa thing as they said as soon as it was done our visa would be done.

I was excited and we waited. a week, two finally they returned his passport... without explanation.

When I wrote them they said they are still processing it and I said what exactly are you doing?????????? Name check which takes 2-3 months..

I called DS and the woman there said oh no avg is 4 mo but she has had run acrosss a case today of TWO YRS....

so my husband said (*&%^%$%$ he had a job offer in SA

I asked him to turn it down, jordan wasnt bad but SA?

So I am giving it till Jan or Feb.. that point our house goes up and I go to my husband.

  11. ok talked to DOS, they said he is in security check and the avg is four months.... They made a mistake by returning the passports.

I sent a letter to Jordan and am awaiting their response.

My husband is going for an interview tomorrow for a job in Saudi. He is tired of all the games. I dont want to go there. He thinks the gov doesnt know what they are doing... so true . He cant find a job in Jordan. If he gets the job in Saudi, he has to turn over his passport. He cannot keep it with him therefor he cannot just send it in for the stamp of approval. Just pray for him to stay in Jordan! This man is hard headed!!! God at times I wish he just wanted the damn visa here more then I do!

I just cant belive God would do this
