    Hi, guys!

Well, I got an interesting email today from my.uscis account, that they are still reviewing my case.

This would be really good to know, probably,  but the thing is -  I actually already received my green card, like two weeks ago.

Well, I guess, it's not up to us, at all, to figure our how the system works, lol :)

Uh? Really? Ok. Time for me to start freaking out.  last time I called uscis they said my card was already mailed but i never received any approval notice... except for the “case received at local office on September 27th.” 🤦🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️

Not entirely, those of us such as myself who are US citizens may vote. These wait times are entirely discretionary. I-751 wait time was what, 6 months under the previous admin.

Yup, sometimes they were even as low as 4 months if the right conditions were met (fast service center + straight forward case + no RFE + interview waived)

You are right, those of you who can vote should vote. 🙂 If you think your vote won't matter, it matters.

Not too long ago, Citizenship in NY took 4 months. Now its at least 11. We just have to bang on this 'door' harder until they let us in 😂

All i can say is that this situation with uscis and the new admin is going to backfire once a bunch of new citizens start voting...

He said I  MIGHT be eligible under 3 year rule but first he needs  to figure out why ROC is taking so long.

Then I asked him how long has he been practicing and then he said I do mostly real estate.  And I figured out that he is NOT the right person to talk to. Actually someone referred him to me and that is why I called him. But he is a joke .

L O L ! ! ! ! My NOA is August and they’ve been touching my case every week the past 3 weeks now, nothing is wrong they are just delayed as hel!

This forum has been very helpful. I have been following it without signing up. I am a june 2017 CSC filer. I got my approval on 24th September. My noa date is june 29. I believe the biometrics was couple weeks after that. I went in to stamp my passport in june 2018. After that the status never updated to anything besides “case was received at the local office “. On 24th september it changed to card in production. Good luck to everyone who is yet to be approved

Im Happy for ya. Congratulations 🍾

You guys, I'm still shaking and crying but I just received the greatest news...
I received a text alert and e-mail that says there was an update to my case, I kept myself together til I checked the online tracker and there it is showing "New Card Is Being Produced".

    NOA date: July 25th
    Filing Office: VSC Case
    Number: EAC17298
Didn't get an interview, haven't filed for n400 either.

I hope people will receive the same great news soon 💖🙏🙏🙏
    God is good.

Congratulations! 🍾 you are a free soul!

they can make us wait all they want, but they can't delay the application past the processing times. Did you know you can actually sue USCIS? https://hackinglawpractice.com/blog/when-uscis-tells-you-to-sue-them-you-sue-them/ It might be the only way out if they don't bother with your case well past the processing times. And you will definitely get citizenship before the November 2020 elections. Pushing back legal immigration is a terrible idea, considering most of us will be citizens by 2020 and we will know exactly who not to vote for.

Oh, i so! know who not to vote for... 🍊

I just can't wait for the day we have a president in office with an immigrant spouse who had to deal with USCIS, go through the limbo we're going through and put actual work into making USCIS less of an inept burocrat. OH WAIT... nevermind...

Haha. I mean cheating cause even when immigration is a privilege and I do feel very grateful to have a chance, we ARE paying for these oportunities. All of them, from the very beginning, K1s, AOSs, EADs, APs, ROCs, N-400s, etc. To me, the excuse to the backlogs being too many applications being filed is pure bullshit. Well guess what? more applications means MORE money, so why not invest it wisely and expand infrastructure, hire more people, create jobs?? We as immigrant applicants are actually financing a lot of jobs for americans. Yet we get treated like sh!t by a semi private company who does not refund our fees when THEY fail or make mistakes to our applications. Not to mention the outright theft of money when people pay for the fingerprints fees and later are told they don't need them cause they old ones are still current but "there will be no refund of the fees"..... Good job USCIS!

Ok rant over.... sorry guys... just needed to get it off my chest. Thank you for being my support group

    I agree 110%

🤣 You kidding me, I love Sting.

Your story might be different but a lot of people here are DACA recipients or have visa that expired... I should read on DACA, I don't know the updated news but let's be considerate of the fact that we all are part of an immigration forum. Times are changing so are the wait times and we have no control over that.

    Sting = 👌🏼

They shouldn't do it like that. They should have like a general "pile" of cases that the officers go to fetch whenever they're done with the case before. That way they assure situations like mrs tbh's don't happen. USCIS says they process cases on a first come first served basis but I call bullshit on that. Can't wait to be done with this awful cheating institution.

“Cheating institution”  interesting description, i like it...
