  1. I intend visiting Nigeria in December , 2021. My Conditional Green Card is expired , I have also applied for removal of condition and I received

I-797C extending my green card by 24 months. My concern is, does the Nigerian Immigration recognize this document for me to return to the US after my visit.

Secondly, I am flying with Lufthansa does any one know if they honour this document ? I will need input and insight . Thanks

    An update at last!

So,  I woke up to an email from uscis this morning saying an action was taken on my case that I should log into my account to check my status update.  Lo and behold!

"We are producing your card and will mail it to you

You do not need to do anything at this time

We will mail your Green Card, employment authorization document (EAD), or combo card (EAD and advance parole) to the address you gave us. It may take up to 120 days to deliver your new card.

Quick question: why does it give the option of green card when the update only comes under EAD status?

    :huh:B-)

Omo! CONGRATS from this end..... I AM STILL ON A LONG THING...... BIG UPS BRO

  3. please if anyone knows any good immigration lawyer kind facilitate me with his/her contact I might have to petition my case. even though i know the IO has a the discretion to approve me or not but it is also true that such discretion must be exercised judicially and judiciously with bias or favour in this instance I think their are other external factors that had imposed itself on my case and I feel I should petition to the office in in charge for my file to be taken away from the present IO. ................. I am truly unhappy and believe me I feel like going back home. I know of a certainty them no go school reach us if no be bad government

  4. Just looking back at my interview experience I feel the lady already had a premeditated bias ...... for example she wanted me to validate this because she claimed that "a Nigerian told her Haitians and Nigerians are not the the same"......  but because I know that they of the West African origin their natural build confirms that and some of the gods worshiped out their bears striking similarities with some deities in Nigeria I told that couldn't be correct .... And she said what the person told her really annoyed her. Na me be the person wey tell heR?:D:D

  5. Now I am begining to think that the worst people to meet at an interview as IO 's are "blacks "  I have had very terrible experience with blacks since I came into this country even though I am black I think there is something inherently wrong ......... i sincerely feel like going back to Nigeria. If not for my wife , i told her i did not wnat this United States wahala........ i hate when humans play God.

  6.  I had my interview on gthe 24th of April,2018 at the Baltimore field office. Got there 30mins before my interview which was for 12:45; of course I was there with my wife who is a USC but she is Nigerian too we are both Kalabari"s  from Rivers State in Nigeria I maust add that we were beaming with confidence but we had to wait for about 2 hours before we were called in our IO was really apologetic and she said we should swear and I told her I don't swear I only Affirm so she asked me to affirm, which we did. We went through with the questions on  I-130  (theses question were more to my wife, but she asked me some too) then we went into the I-485 which I answered . until she got to my children and I told her I have children but have never been married. Then she asked if i stated in my B2 visa application that I had these children I told I couldn't recall that question been asked because i filed alone and I stated that I wasn't married too. But I told that at the interview for the B2 interview I was asked if I had Children and I told them I had a child (I have three daughters, but I claimed one then because she was the only child I was sure of  at that time , as I had serious issues as it relates to paternity with the other women) afterwards she asked for further documents of proof of marriage. and we gave the following documents

    a. A letter from the University were my wife is doing her Doctorate / works there as a Graduate Residence Coordinator( she get free housing from the school with this job)

    b. Receipt of Membership from our gym

    c. Car documents in which I appear as a co-purchaser because I don't have insurance and drivers licence

    d. Joint Statement of Account

    e. More pictures of our wedding, courting etc.

there are no insurance together , then she asked what I did for my wife on her birthday and I told her I don't celebrate birthdays. But on that day I cooked a sumptuous native soup for her which she enjoys .

she asked how did we celebrate Christmas I told her we went to my wife's cousin's house in Virginia but I told her I also don't celebrate Christmas.

After 2hours of being in there she gave us the 120 days letter that she'll send our case  for review  and may I add that all the while she taking copious notes with a red pen. .... ah! I then told her I haven't received my EAD she seemed shocked and said that shouldn't be , but I interjected by saying "of course if I get approved I won't need the EAD " She smiled and said I should just wait until the review and that I should do anything until after the 120 days.

feel free to ask questions ..........
