Yes it is lengthy for sure. I have a cc since Sept 14th and now interview is on Nov 26th. So I believe the gap gets you more nervous. 
Yes I am focusing more on my course and that's how I am trying to keep my nerves at Bay!

Don't worry..even I had the same feeling before the interview.But everything luckily went well for me.The procedure is easy but lengthy.This is what makes us depressed.Also just read and think positive stuffs.Don't concentrate on what is happening around just what is happening inside that matters.Best of luck..when is your interview??

So yes! I did schedule for an appointment and got my medicals sorted, everything happening within the next two weeks.
 
Now waiting for everything to be in order. Does get a bit nervy 😊
 
 

Finally!!! Interview was 28/9 in Casablanca.. was a little frustrated at first because they requested more chat logs. But today we received “issued” ! How long till we can pick it up anyone know?

sorry for the late response.. that new applicant/schedule appointment is itself booking for biometrics..they will ask about your category and details fill those then once you click on it you will find out it says book your VAC appontment,,That's the biometrics..don't worry

In order to schedule an appointment for you medical exam in Mumbai
1) visit www.Releclinic.com
2)Click on Appointments
3) Fill up the form and u will get a call from them for a schedule
4) kindly read the FAQ section for more information
Scheduling for Biometrics( Fingerprinting and Photo)

2)Kindly read all the steps given
3) Now click on new user
4) Fill the form and submit
5) Now login using your email and password
6)Now go to schedule appointment --->select the consulate (Mumbai)--->select ALL IV IMMIGRANTS---> CR1--->complete your profile---> fee payment ( which you might have already paid)---> Number of family members--->choose your appointment date ---> Choose how you would like your documents delivered.
Kindly view the attachments for Document checklist and instructions. Also there is a information page about medical exam centers available for people from other state consulates(india).

I was planning to do the same but was advised otherwise.
Reason being the same, that you get the first available slot.
Also this shouldn't affect your current standing in the line-up. As in they might get back saying, if they have last minute cancellations or sudden vacant spot, they will get back to you. 
 
However, I believe you can give it a try or take legal advice prior to getting into this.

Thank you so much once again. Yes it has been tough and after getting a cc on Sept 14th and I was yippie yay all the way, only to see the Nov 26th date. But then again, I see a lot of couples from Lagos waiting to be united with their loved one for months on end. My heart goes out to all of them and I pray for them earnestly.

I guess on this stage everyone is stressed. In normal conditions I'm actually quite stress resistant😎 But before the interview I got crazy.😩😤😨 You just have to come over it and try to keep to a positive thinking. As after the interview believe me days will fly so fast and you'll join your loved one finally. God is all knowing, with his help you'll hear those magic words Your visa is approved!
