Yes. you have to fill out ds-160 form first then you can pay the fee and schedule her interview.

Hi everyone

My Grandfather did a petition for his 2 daugther and a son, They have more that 21 years old, they got the approval from uscis them they got transfer to nvc that was on 2014, now nvc started working on their case, thr person who is doing the proccess said that he didn't get the email from nvc for one of them (my aunt) but i call nvc and they said that they send the letter to the email that was on the case, they give me the invoice number, i try to call nvc again to see if they can send me the nvc letter to my email but i can contact them... do she can proccess with her case with the invoice number without or she need the nvc letter?

The transcript that the tax preparer gave you will mean nothing to USCIS. They want an official transcript from the IRS, which will not be available until after the IRS processes your amended return. As an alternative, USCIS will accept a copy of your amended return, but it must be the entire return including the 1040 form, w-2's, 1099, schedules, etc. (everything you submitted to the IRS, not just the 1040 or W-2, like some people try to submit). I asked the question above about the year you were married to determine if you even needed to amend your single return.

Hi, I got an RFE because i didn't send proof of my taxes because i used  my bothers as a first join sponsor, i dind't know i have to send mine too, that was the only thing that i miss in the aos package... Then i fill out my taxes as single but i did an amended to my taxes and change that, i haven't send anything yet because i don't know if i can send the transcript the accounter person gave me after he did the amended, The one that he gave have my marrital status as Married filling jointly, So i want to know if i can send the proof to uscis with those trancript.

On march 18 a got a rfe from uscis asking me for my tax return, im doing adjustment of status for my husband, but i make a mistake on my taxes and i filled it out as single, i did an amended from single to filling jointly, when i did the amended the account person give me a copy of the amended and a copy like the original transcript. My question is can i send the transcript the he gave me or i have to wait for the irs processed it ?

I make a big mistake 😏😏 i bring my fiance to usa, we got married on august 2018 and fill out aos on november, i use my bother as joint sponsor because i didn't make enoug money. I fill out my tax as single because i just work till august 2017 and today i got a letter from uscis asking for my resent tax return.. what i can do now? can a send my tax return like that or i shoul make an amend to my taxes to correct my marital status ?? im soo worried because i dont want to him get denied ..... After you get the approval, you have to call nvc to get your case number, wait a least to week after your approval to call them to get your case number. Them you have to check your case status at nvc, first it gonna say In transit and them it gonna say ready, when is ready them you can start with the ds-160 and do the interview appt and the medical appt. Do it online because if you wait the embassy to make the appt for you i lost some much time .

They are working on April, So just be patience and everycase is different one can take longer than other one.

if a im a permanet resident and i want to get married with some who overstay with a tourist visa, can i apply for i-130 for that person here in the usa or we have to get married outside of the usa ? ( NOT MY CASE)

If your case is ready you have to start to fill out ds-160, pay fee and schedule the interview, you have to schedule the interview and them you can schedule your medical exam, i dont know about the embassy of your country, But on my country the embassy doesn't call no one .... you have to the step they don't it for you

Hi, You can start calling them to get your case #,  Wait a least one week, After you get your case number you can start to check your case status at ceac .. After ceac get your case you will have to wait like 2 weeks to get the letter but with your case number you are ready to go ...

Hi, you don't to wait for the embassy to contact you if your case is ready you should start filling out ds-160, pay fee and schedule the interview..
