Yes this also happened to me. I called and the rep said everything is perfect. But then received an email the next day saying we have another checklist but they will still schedule interview and we will bring the documents during the interview instead of sending it to nvc.

I received the email and “DOCUMENTARILY qualified” noti both on October 18

That means case complete. Congrats 🎊 nvc will schedule it for you. we just got our schedule for manila.

I just received my CC email. On Oct 10th we got the CC. Who here has an interview schedule for Manila, Philippines?

No, it will stay as Submit Documents and will change to AT NVC once you have a CC. Call NVC to check when they have received your documents. It takes up to 3 weeks to review documents.

I just called them and they said I have a CC. On ceac it says AT NVC, Maybe they are just double checking your papers.

I had two checklists. The last checklist was Sept 28th I submitted the docs the very next day.I called nvc to confirm. I got a CC! 

I just checked CEAC and it said AT NVC. I literally jumped around like a little girl. My 1 year old was shocked 😂 I’ll be calling nvc later ( hope it’s not too busy) to confirm if it really is a CC.  Fingers crossed.

I think it’s best to wait for your police certificate to arrive then scan it. Than to send your package to nvc without the police clearance they will send you a checklist asking for the police certificate since it’s a requirement. Getting a checklist will make the whole process longer than it already is. Trust me, i’ve got two checklists.

It’s a holiday here on Monday. I’m not sure if NVC will be open though.

NVC received the additional documents they have been asking on 9/19 then I received an email last night 9/28 SAYING I HAVE ANOTHER CHECKLIST FOR THE I-864 FORM. HERE IS TO MORE WAITING. Seriously getting so fed up 😩 I’m calling NVC right now and every time I call I’m always on hold for 30 mins and I speak to the representative for like 1 minute only. Hope all of you guys are having a great day today. I’m having a terrible day already.

1st time : they couldn’t read one scan of a police certificate and they wanted both Brazilian police certificate together 

Also they wanted my divorce papers to be named differently in the upload 

2nd time: lawyer didn’t combine the police records because she says sometimes they reject it that way but the nvc replied that they. Wanted it that way and still the divorce documents worded different 

 

i am am so frustrated ... I honestly cried when they rejected it the 2nd time... now this is my 3rd submit!

Oh my gosh. I would be frustrated with that lawyer of yours. Just making the whole process longer. After our process with uscis I didn’t use a lawyer for NVC because I can just compile all the documents.  Hope you get a quick cc my dear!

Yay!! Congrats!!! Finally an update from the Philippines. I hope we get a CC this week so my husband can have an October interview 🙏🏻 Goodluck my dear! 

I received an email from NVC  9/12 i got a freakin checklist. I submitted the documents the very next day. So it’ll probably arrive at NVC this monday. Back to waiting for a CC 🤦🏻‍♀️ It’s really getting frustrating. I just wish this was all done.

I came back from lunch about 2pm and logged onto the CEAC and noticed that the AOS payment was gone.  So i called NVC once again and he told me my case was complete and to wait for notification for the interview as the next step.

I called nvc 8/30 and they said they received all documents. Everytime I check CEAC it says “Action Required: Submit requested documents”  I’m calling NVC right now to check for CC. Hope you get your interview date soon!!

Here is my experience (FINAL 'this time for sure' update):

 

8/27/2018 - Called and received the case number and invoice ID number.  Gave them my email address and my wife's email address.  

 

8/27/2018 - 11:30pm Pacific Time, I received an email with the welcome letter that also instructed us to pay the AOS fee & IV fee.  I immediately logged onto the CEAC and both fees were active.  I paid both fees.  Fees show as 'In Process'

 

8/28/2018 - 5pm sent I-864ez & AOS docs and IV docs to NVC via FedEx overnight shipping.

 

8/29/2018 - Both fees are charged to bank account but CEAC still shows 'In Process'.  10:00am FedEx packaged arrived at NVC and is signed for. 

 

8/30/2018 - 9:00am Fees still show 'In Process'.  Called NVC to confirm they received and scanned my documents.  Informed that they have not yet been scanned in.

 

8/30/2018 - 1:00pm Both fees show as 'Paid' and DS-260 is active.  Spent 2 hours carefully filling out each section of the IV Application.  Printed all sections for review, Adriana and I went through it to make sure it was flawless.  Signed and Submitted DS-260 at 8:00pm.

 

8/31/2018 - 10:00am called NVC and agent tells me "I can confirm with you that we have received your DS-260 and all required documents.  Your case will now go for review which can take up to 3 weeks to reach a completed case.

 

9/10/2018 - Case Complete - So now we wait 7 months for an interview at Ciudad Juarez (in my estimation)

 

 

I also tried to submit for an NVC Expedite based on my medical condition.  I detailed the reason for the expedite request and detailed the medical condition.  Doctor provided documentation and recommendation for the urgency of my spouse moving to United States to care for me but....DENIED

Did you call NVC to find out for your CC? Or did you just check the website?

Congrats! Finally an update from the manila embassy! I’m still waiting for a cc (they received my documents 8/30) I was hoping if my husband could get an interview for Oct but I doubt he’ll be here for Halloween so he and my daughter could go trick or treating 😭 I just really hope before christmas he’ll be here. Let’s continue praying!! 🙏🏻

I submitted documents on 8/27 and I just called nvc and said they just received the documents today 8/30 and it will take up to 3 weeks to review. Praying for a quick cc and then a quick interview. 🙏🏻 Does it really take a long time to get a interview for manila consulate?
