  1. Good Afternoon fellow Houstonians Texans,

Does anyone have successful walk in biometrics experience at Houston TX? Especially for the SW ASC on Highway 6 Sugarland. It's kind of far from where I live and I have a friend who is going there this Wednesday so I want to ride with her together.

    To fellow VJers,

Does anyone know if I can go to a different ASC than the one in the letter? They have quite a few in Houston, TX. The one they gave me now is actually different and farther away than the one I went to while I was filing I-130.

    Thanks a lot!

I did walk in biometrics. They just asked me what is the reason. I told them that my job transfered me to the other states. They let me took my Biometrics.

  2. Hi everyone,

I moved in the other states because I found a job here, but I don't like my new job and I wanted to go back to my old job. When I moved here I changed my address in my I-1751 removing of condition petition. I want to go back to my house which is my previous address in my petition. Is it allowed to change address twice? I need help pls.

I don't want that my green card will be lost or sent to this address that I'm staying right now. Thanks.

  3. Hi all!

My husband got his NOA1 around Sept 20th and we haven't received anything else. Seems to me the biometrics letter should have come by now. Should we call or email or just see what happens?

    Thanks!

    MERP

    Hi everyone,

I got my NOA1 on Sept 23, dated Sept 19 and I haven't recieved a Biometric letter also. I sent mine to CSC. I'm starting to get worried. I will give 2 more weeks and I'll do infopass.

  4. We just went 2 saturdays ago (Detroit). Watch the map you print it says doctors hospital, which is no longer there. Where the map says to go is correct but it is a small strip mall. The center is next to the army recruiting joint. There is virtually no people there so no long wait or stress like in Manila when we went there. Takes about 15 minuted total so when that done you will have plenty of time to cruise around Belle Isle (NE) and then go to the Ren-Cen (visible) for a bite to eat and tour. Pretty cool but we missed the tour so no glass elevators. We however did manage to ride the hotels elevators to the 74th floor and down, man WAY fast! My ears popped 3 times both ways. Was a good time for an early Saturday. Not many locals in the area so very friendly all around.

    Enjoy it.

Hi, pls give us the web site of the map on that small strip mall where u went for biometrics.... i'm from michigan also and i'm waiting for my biometric appointment. Thank you.

  5. Hi Everyone,

I sent my I-751 packet thru USPS Express Mail yesterday at 3:54pm. When i checked the USPS website i got this message.

" Your item was delivered at 10:27 AM on September 19, 2008 in LAGUNA NIGUEL, CA 92607 to INS EXPRESS MAIL . The item was signed for by xxxxxxx. "

I paid a little more $29, but USCIS got my I-751 packet in 18 hours and the person signed for was also posted.

  6. Shouldn't be any problem for you removing conditions. When you apply for US Citizenship I believe you'll have to wait 5 years tho instead of 3 years if you were still married and living with your hubby.

I really can't see the reasoning behind that but there are LOTS of things with USCIS I can't comprehend.!

Yes, I hope and pray that the USCIS will not give me a hard time and I hope I'll get approved faster so I can move to the other states because It's hard for me to live here in my house all by myself. The memory of my husband is always here and It's hard for me to move on.

  7. Seems like you cover everything. The only original document that they ask to submit are the affidavits from friends.

Yes you are right, but I got 4 copies of Death Certificate of my husband - Original Certified Copy, that's why i'll submit one copy. Our bank sent us bank statements every month for 2 years so i'll submit half of it. My husband and I also got lots of pay stubs so I'll also submit half of it. We also got lots of bills on both our names. These are the only original documents that I'll submit.

  8. I wasn't correcting your English. I was just saying it would sound better if you designated the house as "ours" instead of HIS. No biggy either way tho.

Also! FC-029 is pretty much obsolete and not used much anymore. Guess it wouldn't hurt tho.

You are right that it sounds better if i said Ours instead of his. So, i guess i won't include FC-029.

Thank you once again for the advice.

  9. Hi Meblue,

I'm impressed that you managed to collect so much evidence on your own, especially since you're going through such a difficult time in your life now with the death of your husband recently. Your list of evidence for the I-751 looks good enough to submit! You definitely have a lot of relevant stuff, and more likely than not shouldn't get an RFE. Yes, you've covered pretty much everything there, both financially and personally. Just make sure all your evidence covers the entire span of your marriage and conditional residency too.

If you need more ideas, here is a list of evidence that I submitted for the I-751 a few weeks ago: <a href="http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...=118868&hl"target="_blank">http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...=118868&hl </a>

Good luck on your I-751 and your immigration journey, more so, as you are filing this petition on your own on a waiver.

Ant (Stuck with the I-751 at the VSC...)

Thanks AntandD.... Yes all my documents like the bank statements, paystubs, bills, cards and mails from family and friends including our trips covers the entire span of my marriage and conditional residency.

  10. Looks like you have "both barrows loaded".

    Only suggestion I can make is ;

"States my husband and I lived happily together as husband and wife in my husband’s home at xxxxxxxxx. I live in the same address until now."

States my husband and I lived happily together as husband and wife in OUR home at xxxxxxxxx where I still live.

    Ingat!

Thanks for correcting my grammar. My english is not perfect and i really appreciate it.

  12. Hi Everyone,

Likewise, the same applies to me:

I didn't tab at all. But, as far as tabs.....none.

P.S. To Meblue: (I read about this information you posted on the other message topic) I'm sorry for the loss of your husband. My thoughts are with you during this difficult time. I hope especially for you (since you are filing on a waiver), that all goes well during your I-751 application and the rest of your immigration journey.

Thank you for the sympathy. It's really hard for me, the adjustment of being alone and living all by myself is hard. I'm still in deep pain. I had a very wonderful husband and a wonderful marraige but I have to face it that my husband is already gone. I have to move on and do all these immigration things. I'm so glad that many members here in VJ helping me. To all the members here who always give their advice and help, thank you so much....... God will bless your heart.

  13. Hi Everyone,

I have to file a waiver for removing conditions because my husband died. What is a waiver, do I need to submit a written request to waive the joint filing? I'm sorry for this dumb question but I really have no idea what is a waiver.

I appreciate any help. Thank you....
