    I think it's possible they will ask about it during the interview and gauge the response.
     
    It's not meeting that would be the problem, I think if you got engaged and started to file even before being divorced it might raise some red flags... but as it is, I'd expect just a question about it and it will be no problem.

    This is relatively common actually. A lot of people on here that I have seen have petitioned for K-1, or even remarried to file for CR-1 visas, but were dating the person while still technically married. Only after the divorce was finalized did they file/re-marry. Divorce can be short and simple or long term and messy and each couple is different. So it isn't unheard of for a divorce to drag on for 1-2 years. During that time they may be dating other people. It happens.
