Hello CathW, welcome. So I am assuming tour PD is sometimes in February? I filed in January and did my biometrics in Silver springs. So far no movement for either of us. My last correspondence with USCIS was at the end of February when they acknowledge receiving my response to a RFE. Now we are all praying for the EAD. From following another thread from filers in DC/Baltimore the wait for an interview is about 6-8 months.

If you havent, already I would suggest signing up for my account on USCIS, it gives much more details than the USCIS app and even the case status online

    https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov/

Once you create it go to "my account" then "Add a paper-filed case" then you can put your receipt numbers and follow your cases.

    Cheers

Hi! Thank you for the welcome 😊 Yeah my PD is 2nd week of Feb. I already signed up for the other USCIS my account. I just pray that the EAD card comes fast. I can't wait to work and just be productive.

  2. Hello guys! Updating my timeline.

I had my biometrics appointment at the Baltimore center yesterday. I went alone and had to take the bus and train. I was afraid they wouldn't let me in with my phone but I had no problem bringing it in the center as long as it is turned off. They were also particular with the time. I got there around 9:30 but my appointment was at 11. They asked me to wait since they are only processing 9am appointments at that time. It was a busy morning in that center. The whole process was quick and probably took 30 mins or less.

Today, I received the Courtesy Letter dated March 5, for the I-693.

    My PD is Feb. 8.

    Hope everybody is doing well!

Ok so after looking closely to my RFIE and the Federal tax transcript they want the Total ADJUSTED Gross income not what the sponsor makes but what he claims... and since my husband is self employed he claimed more deductions... and he didnt make the bar, so i am wondering could we do this years tax return and then apply with them orrr do i need a joint sponsor???

I would do 2017 taxes plus a joint sponsor. I'd probably go all out.

My husband walked into Pikesville last summer for his biometrics.

We got two separate notices so he did the first Biometrics before he received the second, so he ended up walking in a second time as well.

The first time he went and walked in (right when it opened in the morning) They made him wait 2 hours and were not super happy he walked in. The second time he walked in a week later, he went mid-morning and he was in and out in 30 minutes with no issues.

Thank you for replying. We will try to do an early walk in this Friday. Hope everything turns out well.

Thank you, I completely agree :star:.  Let us know what yours is when it arrives too.  I am glad we are getting them quickly so we can send them what they need in good time :).

We did not send payslips too cause we thought it was optional. Lesson learned when we let the husbands work on the forms. I am OC too but all the numbers, taxes, etc stressed me out. Lol

Hi everyone! Did anybody experience getting a mail regarding biometrics without receiving an e-notification first?

USPS informed delivery sent me an e-mail that I am getting a mail from uscis today.

I already received my NOA1 so I am assuming it is my bio letter or I am thinking maybe it is an RFE or RFIE.

Just got my mail and it is for my biometrics. Schedule is on the 13th of this month. PD is Feb 08.

My husband is going to see that, the website just says "try again next week" hahahaha

Our PD is Feb 1st and my Bío appointment is March 7 next week :D fingers crossed!!

Lol so its a weekly thing? That's funny. I do hope you can enroll directly at the Post Office. The Informed Delivery is a big help. I try not to check it every 30 minutes.

Oh good. We are one week apart. May i know from which state did you file?

Oh that sucks! Did you try going to the Post Office directly to ask?

When is your bio appointment and what is your Priority Date? I feel like our dates are close. My PD is Feb. 08.
