Most of the lawyers just satisfy their clients by giving their own approximate times but they are not true at all.
My own lawyer told me to wait 2 3 months and they have already passed.

You should be positive and i have seen august filers approval have been started so oct filers should be expecting approvals in late april and start of may.

I received the advice here in VJ that you could NOT intercept USCIS and that they included me the missing documents, they told me in VJ to sit down and wait for the RFE, because I did not send them a copy of my marriage certificate in Spanish, I only sent the translation in English, and I am 75% waiting for an RFE, the step that you are going to give I am going to do when I receive the answer from USCIS about my case number that does not work.
In VJ nobody has the absolute truth, and each case differs from the other substantially, so with doing the query we lose nothing!

And hey, don´t worry , as I was (and I´m) with many many things that I don´t know, and VJ members spoon feeded me, all my acquired knowledge is avaiable for everybody! We are here in the same boat, only sailing from differents countries, but with the same objective, living with our couple and childs and be a happy family!!!

I would call them and make sure it wont delay your case. They might pull your file out of the queue to include the photos in your envelope and put it back at the end of the line again. But again im not sure... i would def recommend you call and ask to speak to a tier 2 officer regarding this. I received the RFE and it took a bit over a month to get my approval after sending the photos.

I made the same mistake. I ended up getting an RFE and it has now delayed my case well over a month. Between sending the photos, them recieiving them and then approving my petition. If you can sort this out before its processed i believe it will save you time. Good luck!

Yes, I received that great news last Thursday, I´m focusing now (o distract myself and place away the anxiety) In having all prepared for NVC Stage, I already have the DS260 (the answers that required memory) answered, have the NVC checklist and reuniting all the required documents I´m cuban, but living in Colombia, and gathering knowledge about the next stage! And waiting for USCIS to let me know about them!

Oh yes!! It's moving closer!!! So excited for you!! It's gona be March already next week. That means you are only waiting for 2 mos before you get a notice from them!! And there's always a possibility you might get a notice earlier 😊

Yes! You might get a notice from them any time soon! Mine was sent on October so prolly gona take for 2 moths more for an update. But still... we're getting close! Since November last year I been checking our case everyday lol. Hopefully all goes well with your case!! 

Write to USCIS an e mail , and expose your case, because is 99% of a chance that you are going to be striked by RFE 😦 ,tell them and explain that you guys missed the passport photos and would like to them include it in your I130, you don't loose anything asking ...if is negative the answer,well have it ready updated photos and a copy of your NOA 1 and wait for the RFE and send them the photos ASAP.
Quick advise,for the NVC stage,make triple check of your papers with the list they send you.

You do mean that you did not include both your husband's and your passport photos right? Because if you are not currently in the US they do not need your photos till the interview stage. Only your husband's at this point.

Wait,hold...is not this severe!
USCIS is the one who send the letter, and the application is not rejected, is putted in a hold...
The application isn't rejected, they only want to see what left,and that is: the photos. 
They send you a Request for Initial Evidence, you answer it and they answer you generally 30 to 60 days after you send that.
My advise,write them an e mail,and ask what I put you above,you have nothing to loose!
