My husband did his interview August 24 and he got approved 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 
 
I will be doing his review experience pretty soon on my timeline chart however the Co (A lady) ask these questions. 
 
If he ever been arrested 
Where does he work and what’s his job title 
Where do I work and what’s my job title 
Where did we get married 
Where did we go for our honeymoon 
When was the last time he seen me 
If we have any children together 
If this is both our first marriage 
On which one of my trips did he propose 
How many people was at our wedding 
When I travel to see him were do I stay
How many times did I travel to see him prior to us getting married and how many times did I come back after 
 
The Co did not ask for any public charge form however I didn’t send him with any. 
 
Documents she ask for 
My 2019 w-2 and 2019 transcripts 
To see Our original marriage certificate and his Original birth certificate. 
His police record, passport and passport pictures. 

 After that she told him everything looks great and she told him congratulations I’m approving your case and to wait 1-2 weeks to receive his passport with visa.

Good day, during this week's embassy live they said they haven't yet implemented the public charge form. According to the interview check list from the NVC site, 4 pictures are required for the interview. The medical also requires 4 with the first and last name written on the back. 

We were approved for our visa pending medical results!! 
 
questions were very simple, but there was a CO that was a little bit more intense: 
who’s filing
whats the relationship to you 
where did you meet 
how long have you been dating 
how many kids do you have together? (Asked for proof, birth certificate) 
have you ever applied for a tourist visa, if so when 
what do you do for work
have you ever been arrested

then we were approved Ofc depending on the results of the medical that should be in sometime this week, there is a severe backlog.  💪🏾🤗

 
also guys! Bonus tip and will definitely lighten the COs mood is if you have the 2019 transcripts! So please try to get them because they were highly annoyed with people who didn’t have them.

DQ 7/9/20- still waiting🇯🇲🇺🇸

It took me 20 days to get DQ.  I uploaded tax transcripts from 2017, 2018 and 2019. I did the I-864EZ, along with the oringal Marriage and Birth Certificates.  The only thing I did not have was the police record. My husband's was expired and the offices at that time were closed.  So I uploaded the old one and left a note saying we will get an updated one as soon as they begin to process them again. I thought they might hold my case at the NVC until I got one, but they still DQed me in 20 days. 🤷🏾‍♀️
 
It's hard to tell how long exactly it will take. You can always call them to inquire about your case.

This doesn't mean non-jamaicans aren't welcome to join in, however, our timelines and embassy info will defer from that of others. In general, we are not privy to the process for other embassies.

Ummmm I'm sure your legal name is not Firebread, we don't even know if you're male or female. My legal name is not Stacey Ann either. Not saying you persay because you did have a timeline filled out and I understand you not being able to add a second. Just saying the timeline does not list any personal identifying information, no specific case info i.e. case #, no demographics, or anything that people can use to get information on someone's case nor cause any issues so I don't see the reason for so much secrecy. We came on here seeking help, encouragement and/or to try to figure out when we may get further along in the process. It's not fair that one can dive into another's case from their timeline and on this post yet we cannot do the same with theirs. We're all in this together.
