So we picked up the visa today's and the yellow envelope with all the papers inside looks like a *** damn dog got a hold of it!!

    Is this normal?

ita not just a little rip.... like every side is ripped open !

I would think there is a high chance they won't accept that or grant you entry if you present it. It looks like someone messed with it. Definitely go to the embassy and get it checked and resealed. Maybe call them to let them know that you have just taken delivery of it in that state.

Let us know when you are able to track it. Says can take up to two days to arrive and up to 24 hours before you can track it

Picking mine up from the depot tomorrow. I missed the delivery today because I had to pop out to do one thing and I risked it and obviously that is when they decided to deliver. 😫

It is a MASSIVE pain that they can't give a delivery window smaller than 10 hours.

    Do you have yours yet?

    Hey everyone,

Jus had my interview yesterday and the CEAC tracker still says ready, so I’m guessing that’s normal even through I was approved yesterday at my interview? How long did it take for you guys to see AP or even issued?

    Mine went...

AP - Immigrant (post interview Monday 22nd) - they didn't have my medical results at this point

    Ready - Immigrant (Weds)

    AP - Nonimmigrant (Friday)

    Issued. (Monday 29th)

As yet no news from the courier.

    Soon 🤞

  4. Hi everyone,

Just wondering if I have to be the person to receive my package from the courier, or can it be a member of my household if they can produce my ID (driving licence for example)?

Please let me know if you have had any successes or issues with this. Thanks.

Hiya. Her visa status is saying ISSUED. Has yours been ISSUED today?  Just waiting anxiously to hear from the courier. Have you had anything through yet?

    Su

    Congratulations!

Yes, mine changed to issued too. Judging from previous posts I wouldn’t expect to hear from the courier till Wednesday (for Thursday delivery) at the earliest. However, you might be lucky and hear earlier but don’t stress if not.

HOPE to. No way me and her dad are spending over £4K on flights bringing her fiancé over to collect her and take her back until she has that visa in her hand !!!

Well, I'm glad you haven't committed to flights at that price I would be having a breakdown! haha.  😂 how sweet of you to do that for them!

My flight is around £300 so I have already booked for the 10th and ill just take the fall if I don't get the visa back in time.

Sorry. My daughters was on last Monday too, in the morning. Where do you go to see update?  Do you have a link?  I’ll get her to log on to her account

    https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx?eQs=o/iS8zDpeAKjMWCuebHqOw==

Get her to enter her LND case number her and it should show her either "Administrative processing" "ready" "application received" or "issued" I wouldn't worry too much about what it says because it seems to be slightly different for everyone, however, obviously if it says issued then its likely it has been issued!

You should then get an email or text (?) from the courier when it is on its way to you.

Good luck and I hope she gets it soon!!

Question for K1 visa - UK residents.

Just wondered if anyone had their interview this October and how many days it took for the UK Embassy to return your passport and visa?

I had my interview last Monday, CEAC status turned to non-immigrant yesterday (Friday) which is said to be a sign that printing/mailing is imminent. I expect some movement next week and to hopefully have it before the end of the week.

The CO who did my interview say "usually within 2 weeks".

Did you already have your interview? You don't have a timeline set up.

you should have had them but if they didnt notice or didnt care at your interview then obviously ... not an issue (assuming they didnt issue 221g for it lol)

having them is a requirement but every consulate and CO is different, and as with any employee/job, sometimes things slip by or are forgotten

They didn't issue a 221g ... wouldn't that have been given to me?

Turns out I don't actually have the right birth certificate and I may have to reschedule my interview, because it's on Tuesday October 30th. F***ing hell. This is a nightmare.

Did you get the one without your parent's full names on?

both of you have to do a new letter of intent to marry.

Isn't there some timeframe though because I had my interview this week and they didn't ask for them?

Obviously better to be safe than sorry so take them if you have them for sure!

    Good morning everybody,

Quick question about documents needed for Embassy interview. I've seen a few mentions of an I-134 with a "wet signature". My fiancee is my sponsor/beneficiary, so we already filed the necessary form in the original petition. Do I need another one or will my original (I have a copy of the entire petition we sent off at home anyway) suffice?

Similarly, would you recommend an updated statement of intent? Of course she and I both created and filed our own in the original petition.

On top of that she has supplied me with a letter from her employer (she started a new job on October 15th) noting her employment and salary, as well as more recent payslips/documents relating to money she received between our filing date and now. I presume that, along with the other obvious/basic documents required, we are all good.

Apologies for this seemingly basic question. Just looking for a bit of clarity. Interview is six days away now and making sure all my ducks are in a row. I can't believe it's so soon!

My Fiance (Petitioner) had also started a new job since we filed so I was asked if I had brought "a letter from his employer or payslips or anything" to support the Affidavit of Support I-134 information- I had three months payslips and the interviewer was happy to just take the most recent.

I would say that because you fiance probably won't get a payslip between now and your interview (if she is salaried I imagine she will get one in late Nov as her first?) then you should definitely take the letter from her employer that states her salary.

I gave the i-134 with a wet signature but I am not sure if you are able to give a copy. If you already submitted that with your initial application they may not even ask to see it again or any proof of her ability to support you because they may have assessed that she already can. Definitely still bring all the financial docs just in case - don't want you to get there and have issues because I said this!

Also, you don't have a timeline so I can't be sure of your filing date but so long as your interview is within a year (someone please correct me if I am mistaken) of your NOA1 you don't need updated letters of intent.

Good luck, I am sure you will be fine. It is a very weird feeling because it is way less stressful than the rest of this process. Enjoy. :)

Thankyou!! My original ESTA has just run out so I have applied for a new one this evening, so hoping it comes back as authorised! Then will book my flights 😊

That should be fine too, I did the exact same thing because I renewed my passport and only realised the evening before I flew that I needed to renew my ESTA. It was approved almost immediately. They didn't email me though, I had to go back on the website and check my application to see that it was approved.

Hope you have a good trip. I am sorry it is not for a happier reason.

Just a bit of advice needed guys...I’ve booked my medical for 14th November, case is still at NVC. My fiancé in America has just found out sadly that her dad has potentially a few weeks left to live and has been put into hospice and it’s been a massive shock to the family. I was wanting to go over for a couple of weeks. As long as I have my return ticket and maybe my proof of medical exam and I obviously explain the reason if asked do you think I will be ok to travel? Any info/thoughts would be massively appreciated. 😊

    Hi,

I am currently in the US for a week and I have my medical and interview booked. Immigration just did the standard "where are you staying, how long are you here?" and let me through. I think you should be fine.

I had proof of my booked interview/medical and return flight ready just in case but it wasn't required.

Ah so that is the test photo part then. Thank you :)

I don't have a scanner myself, and I tried doing it at a public library but I'm not confident of the quality. I will do the test photo thing shortly and see how it works out. Thanks again.

If you have an iphone (other brands are available 😉) then download the Scannable app. You can scan in any photo or document just using your phone camera and save it as a pdf or a jpg the just email it to yourself or save on your cloud etc and voila. :)

Now my question is when they ask about APPLICATION RECEIPT/ PETITION NUMBER.

It says Your application receipt/petition number was given to you by the Department of Homeland Security’s United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) after you filed your petition application at a USCIS Service Center. The application receipt/petition number is 13 characters long and the first three characters are letters.

This seems to be the WAC number and not the NVC receipt number, right?

Yes, I believe it is the WAC number. :)
