AGREED!!
Someone on here mention a mass Congressional Inquiry and I have too admit I believe there most certainly should be one! Their business model although they now no longer like to be referred to as one is just not working and quite frankly I am fed up of all their so called computer glitches, like fees are waived and such. I am fed up of the long, long waits. Had it with AOS, continued ROC and I am expecting it with the N400. The only thing that went quickly for me was the K1, but others were stuck in long queues of nearly a year at the time, if memory serves me correct.
ROC though has gone from 6 months to 16 or more months for CSC with absolutely no apology, no explanation, no Interview waiver letters. Zero communication and it carries on, they don't even up date the case statuses, the processing times updates, for a few months, were right at the end of the month, instead of the middle as they state. I honestly can't say what they are delivering in a timely manner, I am sure they are, but what it is I am clueless.
You never know we may find out more once they update their systems again on Sunday. Who knows, we probably have more chances of picking the numbers for the jackpot on the lottery. Note to myself, go out and buy a lottery ticket!! Lol. Ah well, it's the start of a fresh week soon and hopefully there will be a historic number of approvals!
We missed you Shell! Although, I think it is smart to take a break from this #######! Lol

Agreed. Also love the profile picture it's a perfect symbol of us checking the mailbox everyday for green cards.
I really appreciate you acknowledging that!!
Also, not sure if it is visible on the pic, but it is a perfect representation of me slowly but surely losing my freakin hair from dealing with all this bureaucracy!

U suck USCIS!
That is my thought of the day!
Thank you very much!

Never spoke to tier 2, but it doesn't mean you are getting an RFE. You are overthinking it! It is probably a routine question this particular person asks after she s been told case was transferred.

@AnGeLxX 's situation makes me worry now. I didn't have much evidence like insurance or utility bills both of our name were on, and now I'm divorced. I could ask my counselor who I was meeting during the heartbroken process but other than that I can't think of any additional evidence doc... Affidavits are not an option as my ex's family and friends do not know we were married. (he is the USC, and the one who proposed the marriage. I don't get it.) Well, I'm a CSC filer, just need to wait how it will turn out.....
I am in a similar situation, I didn't make any emotional or material commitments here, simply because USCIS might make it hard on me, especially in this political climate! I am ready for any kind of decision, hoping for the best, but preparing for second best lol!
Who knows, maybe I ll be better off back in Europe!
I am a VSC filer and my case should be coming up now. I will keep everyone posted!

A few I can't remember xD.
We are not planning on staying here, so putting everything on our name is too much trouble. Owner of the house is my father in law. If they want us for an interview so be it
We already did health insurance cards. I will do the driver licenses/debit cards this time..
Thanks all for the help! We will start working on it this weekend. Have a good weekend everyone.
Everything will work out, whatever happens! Often times we don't know what's best for us! Wishing you the best! Keep us posted!

I would just go to freakin interview, who needs all that hastle! Do they want you to maybe adopt a kid, or rob a bank together too?! Ridiculous USCIS!
-
How many joint bank account statements did you send? They show continuity, I would send all you had and the ones you got after filing. As long as your marriage is legit and obviously is you have nothing to worry about!

Greetings to my European neighbors, love your coast!
Anywhoo- that means case has been transferred to local office and yes they are working on it, word of warning - opinions are divided and that transfer might be a glitch, USCIS website will go through maintenance Sunday, so keep an eye out.
Having said that even if case is transferred we don't know how rapid the local office is. But by logic they should be working on March filers now, and if you call you wont get any useful info since we are "within processing time", this will be their answer probably by mid April, and if you are not approved by then I would definitely make a case inquiry.

Does anyone have experience with situations like this, when they ask for evidence you don't have? What happens next?

Just got another update: "My Card Was Mailed To Me"
Does anybody know how to check the address where it's going to? I submited a address change request last year, but I want to make sure.
I would call and ask what address they have! But if you made an account at the website you can see if they recieved your request to change the address
-
What the heck do they want?
-
If CSC was a drive thru I would throw a slushy at their face!
-
I want to believe these transfers were done to speed the process especially for CSC!

Hey guys i received a text message from uscis and here it is:
Card Was Mailed To Me
On March 2, 2018, we mailed your new card for Receipt Number EAC171XXXXXXX, to the address you gave us. If you do not receive your card by April 1, 2018, please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request that we send your new card to you. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.
NOW I'M REALLY HAPPY FOR MY WIFE...
Huge congrats!! There is light at the end of this shitty sewage tunnel!!

Nope! I hope the RE doesn't stand for request evidence haha.
Lol, you wont know what it is for sure untill you take a look, but it could be that they are just notifying you of an update in your case, maybe it is nothing major, weird things are happening lately with all these transfers!
And maybe it is an approval?! In any case let us know, hope it is good news!

Technically it's $700 for printing mailing and the time spent waiting😂😋
$20 for the gas to get to field office, $100 for the time missed from work, $5.67 for parking, it ads up pretty quickly!

What is your NOA my friend? you are a VSC applicant you are not in for a long wait.
03/06/17, I am not terribly worried, I know it will come, but waiting is no fun! As we all very well know! Thanks for the laughs Name O Boy! It does help!

You would probably pay less for naturalization they owe you 20 bucks
No I gave the extra twenty in hope to jump the queue! And every time I see people who filed after me get approved I want to slap someone! LMAO

Lol they don't have customer service. You should read their changed mission statement.
I meant the people who answer the phones - idiot service

This whole process is ridiculous, we paid $700 just to be kept in the dark like this, plus some of us had lawyer fees and previous expenses, I am talking thousands of dollars just to be treated this poorly. Why does USCIS even have customer service if they can't give any relevant information?!
I just want to be done with them!

What makes this whole ordeal really painful is that we have so little information, thanks to irresponsible way USCIS is working, we are looking for hope in these online updates, which, looks to me, have no meaning in real world.
We are trying to analyse a misbehaving software here!
Sorry to say it, but king is naked, and only way to know wether our case is closer to being approved is through official USCIS letters.
My case is still saying recieved on 27th, but my prediction is it will say 6th March tomorrow, and this will probably happen again next week when USCIS decides to play some more with us.
I think we should all write to our representatives in congress and request an inquiry, I already did! And dont worry you can do it even if you are not a US citizen!
