I don't think I'll be applying for N-400 as I'm already a dual citizenship holder, it would just be an added paperwork with my second country of citizenship. I'll be okay with being a legal permanent resident

I have been checking my status online and as usual, nothing has changed but this morning’s email from USPS shows I have a letter coming!! I’m at work and won’t be back home until after noon so I’ll update you guys as soon as I open it.

Most of us are still waiting for approval, and I'm almost on the same page as you whereas my last status is from March 4th 2017 " Case was received at My Local Office".
Have you had biometrics done, and did you receive the 18 month extension letter?
For some reason, though I did have my biometrics on May 25th 2018 that doesn't appear on my check case status page... It's all a waiting game.

No one really knows when/if we'll be approved, honestly that seems to be strictly up to them. As of right now, if you didn't get an extension letter automatically, the only thing you can do is try to get an infopass appointment. It will ask for your zip code so that you go to your nearest office. Hopefully there will be an appointment available for you.
I'm not sure what exactly you said over the phone, but they gave you a scripted answer. I would have pushed to have them schedule you an infopass since they didn't mail your 18-month letter automatically and your travel is so soon.

You need to schedule an infopass appointment right away. If you see there are none available then call them, they should have sent the 18-month extension letter by now. I’m sorry you are going through this, the wait isn’t easy but at least some of us did get the additional 6-month extension.

I had 2 case numbers and it was confusing to me. The first one was on the NOA letter and the second one was given by an officer when I called them on the phone to confirm my new address. The first one worked on USCIS online case status page, but when I tried to type in the second one, it never worked nor showed any information online. However, when I tried the second one today, it FINALLY worked and showed all current updates!
I don't know if anyone has the similar issue, but if you do, I would recommend using all case numbers you have. They might have some more updates for your case.
I hope everyone here will receive the new card soon!!
Wow this is great! Congratulations! I’m hoping we will all start getting notices like this soon, in the meantime I have no updates on my USCIS status, the last one is from March 4th when they sent to local office... I had my biometrics done in May and got the 18 month extension letter about a month ago, but none of it is reflected on the website. Sigh.

I have 2 envelopes in my mailbox from this morning that I’m not sure what they are, I’m out of town until Monday but I will have my husband check just in case. I’m hoping one of those is the extension letter, if you get it let me know!

I don’t know the rest of you, my case has not been updated on the USCIS website since March and I even got my biometrics done 05/25, I doubt there will be any update if they do mail out my extension letter.

Yeah they’re two complete different dates, the receipt date on NOA letter is 10/11/2017 and the date I received it was 11/03/2017...

Looks like USCIS will be sending corrected appointments... on my part I don’t see any updates so I will be going tomorrow to my nearest office as a walk in.
