Recently, RFE isn't an issue. Just answer it, send back any document they believe is missing and you get your sweet Approval.
Someone (...think, August Filer) just got his Approval after 4 days of responding to the RFE.
Congratulations in Advance!💖🎆
Thanks. Appreciate the vote of confidence :-)

I got a response today... An RFE... I guess I'm glad I heard back but not thrilled about the RFE given that I went through a law office.

Depends on what touch you're speaking of.
uscis account, it can happen even when they update the system or a case moves.
What we say touch here is normally, rfe or approval or any sort of real notice status change.
I'm talking about when they start to review your case. Would that trigger a touch? Would be nice if they did. At least a sign of progress.

Would a "touch" be registered once USCIS starts to work a case or, if no issues with the case, will it only be after approval?

I'm September 15 and I hope I barely see an update in march.. did something change when I was sleeping last night?
Probably not. I presume you're predicting wait times to increase relative to the July filers that are getting approvals now. I'm just looking at the projected adjudication time frame the site is putting out for me (late April) and then backing that off by a month to account for the time it takes for someone at USCIS to review/investigate the application, which should result in a update/touch. May be some flawed logic with wishful thinking there :-)

Our case status shows 10/11/17 as the last touched date as well, so your date seems perfectly normal to me.
Thanks. Guess that means we'll possibly see an update in March. The actual application review/investigation has to take a couple of weeks right?

Hi all,
Just joined the forum. I'm an early October filer as well. Had one quick question. I see that my last update / touched date is 10/10/17. For those that haven't processed any changes are you seeing similar dates in October? I'm just trying to figure things out. If approvals are mid July right now, when do we expect to see the next update / touch? Maybe a month before USCIS is processing October filers?
Thanks.
