The date in the timeline changed from June 20 to 21. Not what I was hoping for

hmm I just signed up for an account and my NOA1 is 12/1 but my file was last touched 12/07. Maybe they touch them all once at the beginning of the month and then forget about them again for a while. Mine didn't get the 1/5 touch though. Oh the waiting is FOREVER already lol.
Same here. Mine didn't get the 1/5 touch also.

At least!
A family friend of mine had a June case and the interview date for his fiancé is this week.

Umm it is wrong... I'm on day 152 and August only went till 15 yet....
so if if that's true I didn't get the memo. Not anyone in September waiting with me.
although I'm expecting it to go back to at least 6 months average.
it looks like it is 6 months for the approval.

I know the feeling 😊
Lets wait and see, it looks like it is going well for now..
I don't know where in the forums, I read that it became 5 months now. Might be wrong though.

You're too far to guess for sure.
I can say as a september filer I do expect 10 days before my vj timeline. So a few weeks to a month shorthening is possible (if things go this way)
Any date sooner than what is in the timeline works for me.
If it's a week, 2 weeks, or even a month.
-
In the matter of a month the timeline changed back 2 days. By the way it is going now, is it possible for our cases to be looked at a month sooner or a few weeks sooner?

Woohoo, my timeline moved up a day!
Same here. Great way to start the day.
One day now, one day a week ago or whenever it was.
I just have this feeling that by the time it gets to December, it will be reduced by 2 weeks or even more.

Yeah we thought we would get approved as quick as it was. That's why we decided to apply for K1 visa.
Winter time should be less cases for them to look at so it can possibly be sooner

I just hope that the processing time is getting faster and faster so we all can get NOA2 in a few months.
It took my brother month and a half for the case to be approved back in 2016

I hope so but there are so many people (in May, June and July) still waiting for their approval.
December filers might start get approved around May-June, maybe?
Yeah mine is December 7 and the timeline says June 21
-
Since middle of August is already been approved, that would mean the timeline dates can possibly change?

Lost papers? We have no clue.
But if you're asked you reply.
That's why it is extremely important to have an identical copy of all the papers you have sent at the initial application.
Yeah that’s important. To be on the safe side.

This year it's more than previous years.
not everyone gets one. However people lately get rfe for things they have already sent.
How is that even possible?

My timeline date changed...It’s a long way but I’m so excited

It's just confusing. You don't know what to believe in anymore.

Just now, Naes said:I'd really like to go back and file on November 16 ahahahha we should all have filed that day! As it looks like some rookie mistook how to read july and got the November files instead!
I noticed that also. All of November is the same day.
-
Another November got approved. This is confusing me.
-
How do you know if your case has been touched or not?
-
2 minutes ago, Naes said:
At least a week.
they don't always just move to the next month just because they touched the day before it.
Well no because there’s still the 26, 27, 28, and 31 left of July
-
This means a week left to start August..

Speaking of May and frustration, has anyone just tried suing the USCIS? Sure it'd take forever and cost a lot more money and probably accomplish nothing and...I'm starting to forget where I was going with this....but maybe just getting the ball rolling will scare some people into action and then you can back off?
I don't think anyone will do that.
