Based on the immigration-forms-data from USCIS (https://www.uscis.gov/tools/reports-studies/immigration-forms-data) did a small analysis on rate of approval for i 130 Family-based Preferences (FB1/FB2a/FB2b/FB3/FB4) at  California Service Center from 2016 Q1 till 2017 Q4.

High no of cases has been received between  2016 Q3 to 2017 Q2 .

The approval rate gone down since 2017 Q3. That is why the current DP is still with 4th Nov 2016 at California Service Center

  3. Hey, I've a different fb name than my docs. Like I wrote first letter of my name S. And my husband's name as last! Will they ask me to show my fb? Or this can affect me In any way that I didn't write my full name. And my husband's name is not in docs rn, I've planned to change my last Name after getting into states. During my medical they did not asked if my husband has health insurance. I got arthritis and high blood. My blood pressure was really high, I told the doctor about it and she told me to take my medicine. The doctor also told me that I can get a good treatment in  the US. My visa was approved during my interview. Don't be scared because like what JFH said

At the medical they are looking for-

    - TB

    - sexually transmitted diseases

    - mental health problems that pose a risk to the safety of yourself or others

    - drug and alcohol use

    Thanks for reassuring! ❤❤❤

  5. Hey, so sorry to hear about the baby and everything! Hope youre doing okay now. And no I don't have any of the disease listed above! I'm worried basically because sometimes I feel pain in half region of my head lol. Maybe its because of sinus or w.e. and sometimes I feel tingling/pain under my right rib! Not a very severe pain. These things are making me concern though ik these arent not-so-common issues but still. And theres a very small bump under the tip of my left nostril XD do they really care about bumps?

OP, here is my experience with the medical. I had a brain hemorrhage which lead to a stroke at the age of 22. I have since had 4 TIAs, I have been left with epilepsy due to scar tissue on my brain, very poor vision, and partial paralysis on my right side. I also have some gynae issues in that I had recurrent miscarriage and a very traumatic pregnancy (my only pregnancy that got beyond 6 weeks) that resulted in emergency surgery to save my life. The baby died and I had to have some of my reproductive organs removed also. And I was approved without even a blink. There was no mention of insurance or finances during the medical. I have always worked full-time and unless anyone watched me closely they wouldn't know about the partial paralysis. But it was all declared at the medical.

If any of the above apply to you, you will have a problem.

I read of someone with advanced MS who was confined to a wheelchair who went through this process and the medical was approved. And there's no reason why it shouldn't have been.

It  would be considered a medical condition, not disease

Please read this link... it answers the questions you have asked here... you are panicking about things that will not be an issue.. read the material available..

I wouldn't even consider it a category. If it asks about genitourinary disorder (پیشاب کے نظام کی خرابی)  you could maybe list it, but otherwise I wouldn't bother.

If they find a disease that could be communicated to the general public - like TB - which I am sure you would have signs of before now - then maybe they would request you complete treatment for the sake of you and others.

Making yourself worry will not help - being anxious can cause your blood pressure to be high and your heart rate to be high. Just try to be calm - you're almost done.

Youre right! I'll not try to panic lol. I just hope I'll pass the exam and interview, inshaAllah! Prayers Needed! ❤ well I was asking about some real chronic illness like arthritis etc. If they find something like this (using this just as an example. ) will they still deny? If you dont know and you tick no ( ×) will they believe you or deny the visa? Just asking. I'm okay now 😍

As a nurse, I can tell you, a cystocele is very very common. Even more so after childbirth - they won't do a pelvic on you and I would hardly consider it to be a "chronic disease" -- its inconvenient for you, but even in a worse case scenario, a minor surgery would fix it.

I just dont know in what category this disease lie? And what if they find any other disease in your body. I Was so worried! But I'm better now. Thanks for such a helpful reply ❤

This is a self help site.. please do some research looking at the process and the forms that are used.. there are clear instructions for the forms which identify all the parts etc.. there is a guide on the vj website for spouse visa which is takes you through the process step by step.. all of us need to be doing our research as well as asking questions...

Google   I864 instructions... the answer to your question and lot of other ques5ions will be found in the instructions ...

Read the guides than come back with unanswered questions... 😎

Thanks bud, I'll definitely search everything from now. Thanks for guiding me. ❤ can I find the questionare too? Which they give you during exam?

  11. Thanks love, it was very reassuring! I hope the same. Did you know about the disease you've? And if yes, did they ask about medicines youre taking? And a letter from doctor? Or you just told them that you left it untreated? I'm very curious because it already taking a lot of time and what if they'll deny my visa in the end :(

Hi I have a non contagious auto immune disease. My spouse wasn't working and didn't have health insurance. The Dr at the medical exam recommended that I keep seeing a specialist in the US. I got my visa approved.

When I came here I took a job which provided health insurance. I did get sick however due to lack of treatment (I took 3 month worth of meds with me but it wasn't the kind of med I needed).

I suggest to get your depression under control. I started taking meds for it while in the US. I never had it treated in my birth country. I'm doing a lot better now.

How will you handle the insurance situation? Will you get a job and insurance yourself or will your spouse take care of this? Moving to a different country is stressful on your body and it might make you sicker. Better plan ahead for these things. I wish you all the best.

You spouse fills in the i864... it outlines the financial requirements to sponsor an immigrant... he will need to sort this part out,  but talking together is important all the way through the process,.

You can read about the whole process on state.gov    search for spouse visa process, after the petition is approved... get as knowledgeble as you can so you can know for yourself what is needed...

Oh I just read about it? Can you tell me how much the person has to make? And as you told me that youve that chronic section too, what am I suppose to write there? When Im not myself sure about my disease ;(
