Congrats, shame about the time hope you live close to the office.. They take your Greencard when your signing in at the Ceremony. The wait time not too sure about..
Mine is scheduled for 8.40 am and I am not living in the D This Thursday. I have been practising the civics questions every day, and I hope I don't get the ones that I never get right. Other than the civics test, do they ask you about all the stuff you added on your application? Like, do I need to know my exact travel dates and former addresses by heart?
I am going to travel at the end of June too, and my flights are already booked with my other passport. Should I mention that at the interview to get an oath date after my travels or is that not even necessary because I can reschedule once I know when it is?

Congratulations to all!

I believe questions will be different. I’ve only had 6 questions instead of 10 but I guess that’s all you need to pass. It’s pass or fail system so no bonus points 🤗
my questions were (I can only recall 5 out of the 6 she asked)
what’s the capital city of US?
what’s the capital city of Michigan?
who makes federal laws?
what is an amendment?
when was the constitution written?
I would recommend going through the practice questions online at https://www.uscis.gov/citizenship/educators/educational-products/100-civics-questions-and-answers-mp3-audio-english-version
they will NOT ask questions outside those 100 questions listed.
Also: Bear in mind that it is NOT multiple choices questions, you will have to remember the answers.
Hope it helps! Best of luck!!!
Thank you! Yes, I am all aware that the questions are different for each interview, and I have the booklet, two apps and my husband to practise with. I am generally good with this, but there are some questions that I just cannot seem to remember the answers to 🤪

@Sunshine25 congratulations and thanks for writing down the questions! My interview will be on May 30th. 🤪

@Lochnessmonster thank you for the detailed description, and congratulations! Your interview sounds like it was perfect. I am so nervous about the civics questions. Some topics are a breeze for me while I always struggle with others.

I haven't checked in here in a bit, life got a little busy. Wow, awesome to see an interview scheduled! I just heard from another filer that Charleston is pretty quick. Congratulations!
I have my biometrics tomorrow and have not checked my estimated completion date in a bit. Maybe I'll do that tomorrow

I'm credit score expert, answer is NO - there is no correlation. Only thing it helps you out is there are some bank institutions which opens their certain product like credit cards, LOC etc strictly to US Citizens.
Also, I hope you removed "DHS Authorization" wording printed on SSN if not - visit local SSN office and request for new SSN physical copy. (your SSN will remain same).
Thanks. This is not about me. I heard other people talk about it and was curious.

May be they maxed out their credit cards for party after naturalization causing credit score to crash, indirect connection in that way.

I know a lot about credit scores professionally, and I can tell you with certainty, that there is NO correlation here.

Thank you. This is not about me. Two other people said it happened to them, so I was curious.

Just had my interview, and I got approved It was so much easier than I thought, my worries were completely unnecessary. The whole interview basically took about 10 minutes. The IO first went through all the questions from the application, and then did the civics test. My questions were:
Name two cabinet positions.
What did Martin Luther King Jr. fight for?
The idea of self government is in the first three words of the Constitution. What are these words?
What ocean borders the US on the East coast?
Name one branch of our government.
What is the supreme law of the land?
I had to read: "How many Senators are there?" and write: "There are 100 Senators."
This was a very pleasant experience.
