Hello everyone, I was requested to redo my medical and mail my passport with 2 photos to the embassy in Yerevan, Also they wanted me to upload W2 tax returns on the CEAC account, last week I submitted 2018 W2 on the ceac and I took an email back from the embassy that "Thank you for your follow up email, because of some technical issues we are unable to review documents that you have scanned in CEAC. As soon as we access  and review the newly uploaded documents you will be contacted and advised accordingly."  I am in Yerevan now and mailed my passport to the embassy on Monday, but still the issue for reviewing my uploaded documents exists after almost 10 days, and the embassy doesn't  make an alternative for us to just email or mail the documents instead of uploading them,

I wanted to know was anyone in this situation before ? I will appreciate any advice

Hi, congratulations to all who take the interview email, I have a question that what your status shows now and before you take your email? Was showing "at NVC" or " in transit" before you take your letter?

Why no one still took an interview date for the February? Does anyone know if the NVC keep scheduling appointment still? What if the shutdown doesn't resolve ?

Please help me on this: on my CEAC status it says “At NVC”, and the status of the documents shows “completed” and “accepted”. So, we really thought we had a Case Completed. The thing is that I just noticed a message asking us to adjust the W2s in a horizontal orientation. I thought that they may have given CC because the W2s aren’t mandatory. I just sent an email to our lawyer to fix that, which I believe he will only see after NYE.

 

My question is: do we have CC even before send this document in a horizontal reading?

you must check all the items you have submitted, have a green check mark and each items shows ACCEPTED , in addition in my case I got 2 emails at the same time, one for update on ceac and one for documentary qualified . you must take that email that you are in line for the interview  and your documents are qualified.

But something miraculous happened after I posted my last message above. Remember that I called NVC this morning around 830am to inquire about my case complete and when I can expect to get an interview date.  At noon this afternoon, I got an email with my interview date of January 9, 2019!!! My case got closed last week Thursday on Dec. 14 and we got an interview date a week later on Thursday Dec. 20th! Praise God!!!!!💃💃💃🇩🇴🇩🇴🇩🇴❤❤❤🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸. Praying that everyone gets their great news sooner than later!

I have a question from the ones who got their case complete, should first both IV and AOS package show accepted status then wait for the case complete?

However, they just told me that they scheduled everything for January so we MIGHT be scheduled in February, even that is not definite. We are Dominican Republic case...I know they are a super busy embassy. Bummer! Was hoping to celebrate our 1 yr anniversary in February, in the USA. Hoping for a miraculous earlier interview than anticipated....

Congrats!! Hope you hear soon about your interview date, may I know before you receive you case complete, what was the status of your IV and AOS package on ceac? Should they both convert to accepted?

My case is now at NVC, and my husband changed  his address  recently, and in all the NVC forms his new address is written.

Do we need still to inform USCIS for the address change? he is a U.S citizen

Hi, you can not upload it like that , because they want to print out the documents in order like a book, so all the documents you upload must be in the same direction not one vertical and the other horizontal, this is what I did with one of my docs that is like your marriage certificate and it is accepted the first time :

create a blank page on photoshop  or any other photo editor with a white background, this blank page must be vertical , (photoshop is better because you can resize the page to be fit for your marriage certificate ), then insert your marriage certificate in the middle of this blank page , save  it as JPEG and and the end convert this JPEG to a PDF file .

make sure the final file is less than 2 MB and it is readable with no problem. I hope this method that I used can help you too .

thanks for reading the topic, here is my situation :

my husband had been a student overseas in the last 3 years and didn't have any income in the U.S. so he didn't file the tax returns for 2017,2016 and 2015.

at the end of February 2018 he started working in the USA and by now made the minimum wage, 

Do we still need a joint sponsor for this situation ? or my husband can cover the income with the current year?

Thank you, so I shouldn't be worried for the email, you will not receive any other thing from the NVC, just login with your case number and pay the fees and let the process starts 👍
