Hello everyone!
Just wanted to let you know we had our interview yesterday in Seattle Washington. Our appointment was at 2:30, we got there at two. Everything went by so easily, the staff was so easy to talk to, in the waiting room was plenty big enough. One thing I noticed was everyone had an attorney except for us
Anyway, in the interview they just went over the form originally filled out. Ask my husband how many kids we wanted. And pretty much how we met, she didn’t want to explain much more. She said they have to input the information and they would let us know. I was worried since I didn’t get any change of status.
But our power was out at our house and it came on at 3 AM and I checked and it had been updated to card being produced!!

Seattle is taking forever. My PD is June 28th, 2018, and case ready for an interview for more than a year.
From what I've read on different websites, filers from March and April/18 started to get interview notices last month.
Any members from Seattle receiving interview notices lately? Anxiety is starting to quick in real bad.
JUST got notification from the USCIS, my interview has been scheduled, waiting for letter with the date 🎉

Oh woooooooooooooooooow, 12 more months? Jesus Christ. This is beyond infuriating.
My parole expired in February but I was under the assumption that I did not need to re apply. At least that’s what my lawyer told me.
I think as long as you renew your work permit 6months before it expires- you’ll be okay. Your business should be okay too.
Hugs! Looks like we’re in for a long ride .
Yeah I know! I re applied for the parole because the immigration officer told me too.. I just got NOA for both of them!! Hoping to hear something soon!

There are some people who already got an interview even though they applied around the same time or later than me (I am September 2018 filer). Which makes me feel anxious. Hope everything work well for you!
I noticed that too? So I am not sure. ill keep you Guys updated.

I'm in Seattle and notice for the interview last month. The interview is next Wednesday!
I've been looking around it and seems that people get their GC in a couple of weeks? I hope so because we had a trip planned back to Japan on the 13th of February and if the GC comes when we're abroad I was told by my lawyer that my Husband wouldn't be able to reenter the country with his AP combo card.
So your local office is Seattle?

Anyone else Feild Office Seattle Wa? I looked online at processing times and it says they're working on cases from Feb 17, 2017... I hope this is a joke.. Anyone have any knowledge on how long the actual wait time is from other peoples experiences?

I know it might be psycho of me but i started doing that when i was first gathering the “evidence” for the aos 🌚 I bought a few of those accordion filing boxes and organized it in a very professional way, so I’m pretty much ready to rumble. I even made an exact replica of the packet, all originals are in those protective sheets, everything has easy access tabs, etc. Good luck 🍀 we’re half way here 👌🏽
We are the same perso! I did the same thing!!
two copies of everything 😂😂 my husband thinks it’s hilarious

Got my EAD approval Letter !!!!

Are you talking about EAD?
Contact the congressman or senator right away, call them and write them. Same thing happened to me, I called the congressman and told her that it is out of processing date. I got the approval letters right away. But just approval letter, no EAD card. I do think uscis gave me the approval letter because of the congressman, they don’t even mail me the CARD which can take 30-60 days. Ridiculous ! But at least, I have the approval letter and I start to look for jobs now
how do you contact a congressman to get then to call Uscis?

IS anyone else in WA have the Seattle’s local office? They’re saying 11-24 months to get scheduled an interview 😱😩

@Laura & Chris also I keep meaning to ask as this makes things a bit interesting for your case. How did you get your AP and not your EAD? I would have thought that would be sending your EAD real soon if they already took the time to process your AP. I thought the two were meant to come together. Maybe a tactic you can try when calling is to mention that you got your AP but your EAD hasn't arrived yet. I find that a bit odd. I could have sworn that they process those two at the same center so they should have been looking at your case already. I could be way off but I thought I'd mention it and maybe it can get you to teir 2 faster.
*also forgive me if you already answered this question earlier. I may have missed it in the threads.
I hav no idea! ILl call back now

I called US CIS today. My EaD, is June 4. So I called since their processing time is currently at June 6. And she told me it doesn’t matter what day it says all the processing website. As long as it’s not past six months. And I said well that’s not what everyone else told me, I was told when iI gets passed my date June 4th under national benefit centre when I look it up then I can call and get it dealt with. She said it’s been a year since we handled it like that
They currently handle the timeframe. Once it’s been over six months I can call and get it to tier 2. Anyone else hear this?

Dead silence on our case. Still says received. No mail. I am honestly getting worried that there is something wrong. I feel like I should ring them on my husband's behalf but I dunno if I want to do that at work.
You have movement from what I see on your timeline. We are all in the same boat, im only a few days behind you. for EAD they're currently working on June 2nd cases at the national benefit centre! Just hang in there, but I phone call can not hurt
