  1. I'm pretty sure I have to supply the I-134, when I do my K-1, petition. Or at least supply it for her. I'm just not sure if it is 100% or 125% now after reading this. . I'll just stick with 125% for now. I'm pretty sure I have to supply the A-130 for when I do my petition. Or at least supply it for her. I'm just not sure if it is 100% or 125%. I'll just stick with 125% for now.
  2. I found this tonight doing a random search. If a K-1 visa does the A-135 financial support form, is this saying that you only have to meet the 100% guideline of poverty? I had always thought it was you had to be at 125% above. Read it and see what you think

    Trip to meet

Yes I considered that, but we are going to spend two days in Manila taking in some sites with her extended family there. I want to go back to the American, Philippine cemetery where all the white crosses are and 50 columns for each state that has the names of soldiers killed during WW II in the Philippines. It was a very serene experience when I was there in 2006 . Got my United seat confirmation today. I code the same seat # on the Den-Mnl/Mnl-Den flights and same # on the NRT-MNL >,<. Less than 19 hours each way total.

    Trip to meet

Hello Everyone. I'm going to be traveling to Mindanao soon, within 6 months,, from Denver and on to CDO, via Den-NKT-MNL or the Den-HI-GU-MNL route. and then use PAL or CP, for the remaining leg. My soon to be official fiancee', even thoughshe claims she already is, will meet me there along with some of her Metro-Manila relatives. Her parents and daughter will be in CdO still. She and I will visit a few historical sites in Manila and have some time with her relatives there, for 2-3 days, before going on to CdO, to spend 9-10 days with her family there. I got questions, so bear with me the best you can. Background knowledge; I did a successful K-1/K2, in 2007, but they returned within 65 days. It was nice vacation of total culture shock and FAST western culture for her. She wanted to go home, so I accpmodated them to do so. TAMPO scared me anyway and she went from 28 in PI to about 16 here. But that's the past. Just saying I have some experience, but know many things have changed and fees have INCREASED. I've already checked and qualified myself for the 125% Poverty level ****United has some nice fares out of Denver, but so do some others. I've flown them before, so familiarity counts. So does anyone have experience flying United from the 48 to PI? My 2 trips before I used PAL, out of Vegas. Any other recommends on airlines? Let me know. Is $80-$100 USD still an average daily amount to prepare for spending? I mean with transportation fares and foods and the unexpected tag-alongs. I'll come up with more questions later. Thanks, COUSA

    K1 Visa (merged)

All you are going to have to do is get a different money order and write the pay to the order of line correctly.
  6. Preparing to go to CDO, Mindanao. Found a $900 r/t Den-NK-Manila flight for next month, Wanting to get the Person--Person part completed, so we can start paperwork ASAP., I haven't been on here in awhile, but in just looking it seems there has been a slowdown in processing times. Are K'1/2 Visas still making it through ok is my main question? I meet the 125% as of now and should still after March 1, 2019, unless the 125% goes up $7k Another question, is St. Luke still the ONLY place to receive Health Approval? Thanks for your help. Let the fun begin I suppose
  7. I got the passport ordered. I just did standard delivery since I'm not in any rush to hurry and didn't want to spend the extra $$$$. Took 21 days to get it from when I mailed it on March 22 to receiving it April 13. I was very happy with that turnaround time for standard delivery since the website says 4–6 weeks. My honey ko and I are learning a lot about each other. There are a lot of differences between the Mindanao and Luzon personality types. It's exciting to be conversing with her, but she is a very poor woman as she says and frequently Suggest that I am obligated to help her financially. I have sent her some loads for her phone and a small remittance, but her expectations of me are not always Mat suggest that I am obligated to help her financially. I have sent her some loads for her phone and a small remittance, but her expectations of me are not always met. She recently had a case of the Dengue's fever and has a 50,000 PHP hospital bill that she would like for me to pay. I suggested to her that wasn't going to happen. It's fun. Just wanted to share the quick turnaround time of three weeks getting my passport standard delivery.
  8. I'm just saying I would never admit to it. I would leave it up to someone to prove different. If I knew I couldn't pass a UA that would be an entirely different deal. I guess I should've been clear on that part. I live in Colorado so I couldn't throw a clean UA.
  9. So if I used cannabis in 19 85 I should tell them that? I mean I won't be in that position of being interviewed and ask if I use cannabis, I mean living on Jamaica they are probably assuming you do use cannabis.

I will inquire when we chat next time. She seems to be very passionate, but very conservative also which I like. I'll make sure I ask her

I've never been married to a Filipina I did a K-1 visa into thousand seven, but she and her daughter returned within the 90 day time. We haven't discussed that or she did not share that information with me she is a Catholic girl from Pagadian City. Who wants to leave.

Yes. We have and I would want her to have at least 2. It wouldn't be fair to leave her alone. It wouldn't be fair to leave her alone. Well I'm never going to be attractive to a 35-year-old, white, 5'5", 120 pound female here in the United States. And that would be a whole bucket of drama too. I'm OK if she wants to work outside of the home and all of that. One of the things she focuses on is not having her own husband/house/family to take care of and of course the choices there are not on the same level she is.

That would probably be feasible since we will be there July 5 through July 16. Everything right now he still in the primary stages of development, but by throwing it out there, that Motivates me and I get feedback from members here that are positive. I know I'm not picking the best time of year to go, but it's the best time that fits in my scheduled in order to get K-1 started. I explained to her that at my age, we're not going to have 50 years of marriage together. I've already caught a small amount of flak because of it. The typical "she only wants to come to America." They say it like it's a bad thing. LOL. I look around at the women five years either side of my age of 55 and I just don't need all of their drama. I don't need 3 Chihuahua dogs, two grandkids living with, none of that. My two youngest are getting ready to graduate high school in May. They both have jobs maintain their grades at school and will be going on church missions soon. I've been alone since her mother died in 2002 pretty much as far as long term relationships ago. Since she will be graduating culinary school in the upcoming weeksSince she will be graduating culinary school in the upcoming days, I am sure once her work status is approved she will be able to get a job at one of the two hospitals here in the nutritional departments. There's a lot of possibilities for her in the city I live in. We even have an Asian market. I just decided I could either die alone at a later date or I could find me someone that I had an interest in because of their culture, personal characteristics, and positive health traits and Help them become the very best person they can. Also I haven't noticed a large amount of pharmaceutical drug abuse among a Filipina women. In the USA it's not always that way. People here take a pill to offset the side effects of the pill that caused them to be ill. .I don't use pharmaceutical drugs other than insulin. Maybe using Viagra soon, but it is what it is. I would rather not have a wife who is dependent on three or four medications.

I just posted something about that American cemetery if it's the same one you're remembering. It was very beautiful and peaceful there. I also did the carriage ride with the lady that I was there with in 2007. It was very fun.
