  1. The time processing is always crazy to me. When I applied for my citizenship in 2017 the average wait time was 12-18 months. Mine took exactly 90 days from the day I sent application to the day I did my oath.

When I did my adjustment of status back in 2009, I got the 10 year green card in the mail 45 days after I mailed my forms in. No interview, nothing (we did have the first interview and we had a child together)

    Those were the good times.

Still haven't heard anything about my husbands case other than had the fingerprints taken. I am thinking we will have to have an interview since we didn't have one together for first GC. He just had it by himself at the US embassy in London.

Have been thinking of your case, did you hear anything yet? Fingers crossed you hear soon. 🤞

What happens after the 27th if you haven't heard anything?

I've not heard anything here yet.. I'm hopeful to at least get a text message before Thursday as I'm travelling to the UK and worried I might miss a text message whilst I'm away.

Got a text this morning and our credit card was charged on a Friday. So seems it went well and we should get the extension letter soon, hopefully.

Fingers crossed you hear something before your travels!

Lol why would you want to relive 2020 again 😆

In honesty though, I am glad I'm not the only person who messed up the date on the payment, thanks for sharing. We are human!!

Did you provide fresh paperwork (form i751, evidence etc)? Or just provide a new cheque?

Good luck with packet number 2.

I did everything fresh. The reason I did was because each page tbey returned had something printed on the bottom, and the green letter said "new filing". My husband wanted to just send the returned stuff with new check. I tried emailing and calling uscis but got nowhere so just decided to re do everything fresh. And we also decided to use credit card for payment instead of the check. Hopefully it doesn't get rejected this time, as green card expires on the 27th.

Thanks and good luck to you as well!

(2020 was actually an excellent year for us, my husband got his visa and was able to move here, we bought a house, our twins were born, I was lucky to be layed off and get unemployment due to pandemic so my husband didn't have to work and was able to stay home with me and the newborn twins. We got extremely lucky with how things went down, could have been catastrophic though)

👋 Hi there, so I messed up...

I filed my i751 ROC in January (01/27). I waited patiently for the text or email, or even the NOA, but nothing. Then yesterday, a Valentines treat from USCIS in the mailbox! My i751 was returned via the mail... The reason? I wrote the wrong date on the cheque, 02/27 instead of 01/27 🤦‍♀️

I've mailed it out again today, with a new, correctly dated, triple checked, cheque! 🎉 🤞 It should arrive via UPS this coming Thursday.

    Good luck, all!

I had our I-751 rejected and returned for the same reason. I wrote 1-31-2020 on the check 🤦‍♀️

Just mailed the new packet back today.

Guess what! Just received the notification! It's going to LIN service center. My understanding is that they route cases without an interview to LIN.

If it were the case, I would be the second person with no interview for AOS or ROC

Awesome! Congrats! Still nothing for us. Making me more nervous now as they received ours a day earlier than yours. Knowing my luck we messed up something 😅
