Thank you.
Can you please share with me what questions they asked and what they want to know in the interview about the company and in general so I can prepare everything needed for the meeting?Thank you so much
They didn't asked much. I believed that during adjudication process, my application was already pre - approved based on the evidences submitted. During the interview I noticed the green paper when IO open my file which happened to be the Notice of Naturalization Oath Ceremony, same day later that afternoon.
Questions asked are below
- Husband's name and birth date
- Company name
- Length of Assignment
- Country of Assignment
Then we proceed with Civic and Language test (Reading and writing). It was a very quick interview.
Hope this helps.

I didn't use a lawyer for my application and I didn't know I have the option to escalate, I thought I just need to wait.
We don't live in the US, hence the 319b application and I had my green card valid for 10 year so I wasn't worried about it.
I also didn't know how long it should take, now I'm reading it should take up to 15 months and I'm starting to think there is something wrong.
There is not a lot of information online on the 319b applications also the lawyers that I talked to at the time didn't know much about it, and I'm not sure if my husband's company is eligible for 319b - that's my only concern - even though I don't see why it wouldn't be.
I'm wondering if they would have called me for an interview if they think I'm not eligible?
I am a 319b applicant. My application took 3 months from application to Oath Taking. Did mine in DC though, but as to people I spoke before filling the same application, our process time are almost similar. There are some people that had their application finished in a span of 1 1/2 to 3 months. My application took 3 months because I choose to be interviewed later but could have been done within 1 1/2 months. There is no way to find out if there is something wrong until your Interview Day and the IO informs you. Hope this helps and husband is employed in an American company overseas as well.

You cannot get a CRBA using grandparents
Understood, that's why I mentioned if OP believes that citizenship through grandparents will suffice and can satisfy the physical presence for the CRBA, then it his own discretion to do so. That is why I suggested to go to the actual website and see the checklist and requirements for US Embassy in Manila.
-
You can try to apply for CRBA if you believed that citizenship through grandparents will suffice but, you have to execute a Letter of Authorization. Affidavit /LOA that specifically authorize the representative/legal guardian (fiancé at this point) to apply for the CRBA in your absence.
Here's part of the actual checklist of CRBA in USEM. I applied for my daughter way back 2019 but she is a legitimate child (born after marriage)
* Only the child's parent(s), legal guardian, or person acting in loco parentis for the child may apply on the
child's behalf. If a person other than a parent or the child is applying for the CRBA, the person must present
a certified copy of legal guardianship or notarized affidavit or letter of authorization (LOA) from the
parent(s) authorizing the person to make the application. The affidavit /LOA must specifically authorize
the representative to apply for the CRBA. The document must be duly notarized by a U.S. commissioned
notary or a U.S. Consular Officer. The parents must also provide photocopies of the front and back side of
the photo I.D.s used during notarization of the affidavit /LOA.Burden is fulfilling below requirements.
* Evidence of the parents’ location at the time of conception
* Evidence of the mother’s pregnancy
* Evidence of parents’ relationship before pregnancy
* Blood relationship (biological relationship with the child applicant)
They do count the dates and check the pre natal records and everything. Since your child was born out of wedlock they're most likely going to require you to do a DNA testing which you will be required to be present when they give you the dates and hospital to go to.
I suggest you check the actual USEM website for the checklist and requirements and go from there. It's pretty straightforward if you met the requirements and wouldn't take that long.
Hope this helps.

Hello,
Thank you for this incredible information, this is so helpful for me. I guess I have no choice but to travel 15 days before my interview
May I know where you're going to have an interview?
I had my interview in Fairfax, VA and they did confirm my travel dates as it is expected that applicants will follow the CDC requirements for international traveler coming in the USA. My advise is to contact your field office and ask their requirements for international traveler attending the interview. Otherwise it is expected that you have to follow the quarantine requirements.

Hello,
I am flying from Germany to US for my interview as we are station overseas, plan travel is 3 days before my interview date. I am just wondering if anybody knows here if the Las Vegas field office is asking about the covid restriction before you get into the building? They sent me a letter for my interview but they didn't mention about self quarantine if you travelled outside the US within 14 days.
We don't have any relative / friends that lives in Vegas for us to quarantine ourselves if that's really mandatory. I am just wishing that it's not a problem to get into the building as long as I don't have any signs and symptoms of Covid or never had a contact with a person who got Covid.
Please advise!
Hi there,
I am stationed overseas too and flew back to the USA 17 days before my interview. It has been stated that
"Due to CDC COVID-19 Travel Recommendations, the applicant will not be able to enter our field office or an ASC until they have been in the continental United States for at last 14 days prior to interview, if traveling from a high risk Level 3 country. Please read the CDC excerpt below regarding international travel and let us know your plans. Please confirm the country you will be traveling from in your response.
In your case Germany is currently classified as level 3. Also, when travelling internationally you should familiarized yourself with most recent changes and updates to the country of destination COVID - 19 quarantine requirements.
Hope this helps.

Progress. We just saw the electronic notice that our interview has been scheduled for January 8th in Fairfax. I've seen that Fairfax sometimes does same-day oath ceremonies. Any idea how common that is?
I had my same day Oath. Before my interview I received an email and part of it stated "Please note that if you pass all portions of your examination, we will make every effort to administer the
Oath of Allegiance to you on the day of or the day following your interview. In rare instances, your case
may be scheduled for a future ceremony"Hope this helps.

what is the open service request? when you send a message to them from your inbox?
I sent through my inbox, then open a service request and did a live chat to a representative. They did respond to the one I sent in my inbox but same answer as what the rep told me that my card is suspended until the biometrics is done. My data is put in the system that schedules the biometrics. Just waiting for the appointment to come in the mail or them upload the document

I also sent an inquiry through the USCIS portal and was told the same, that it would be forwarded for review. Husband's POE date March 4, 2020. Looks like we will be waiting a while longer with the production delays, though. Arghhh... is nothing in this process smooth?
Hi there my POE in March 13,did a live chat on the 121st day of entry. Also did an inquiry and open a service request. I was told that my biometrics is missing so I have to redo and ASC will send a mail with my appointment. Its live rep that confirmed the status of my residence card that somehow biometrics is missing so card didn't changed status.

Hoping for both of us, but I did see that someone on this thread basically said all she did was check daily and it changed one day to in production.
I think they recommend that you call USCIS since they would be the ones responsible for this.
Yep, I saw that too. Anything is possible, cross fingers and hopefully that update is something

Hi everyone! So, we're past the 120 days. What should I do? Where should I call?
Try to do a "chat with Emma and ask to talk to a representative. That should connect you to an officer

POE was FL for me, well going by the old rule-of-thumb it could just be that someone looked at it, it could just be a system thing. But I guess we wait because if there is one thing we know about USCIS is when they say 120 days, it means 120 days lol.
That was I'm thinking, after a week of checking if there's a possibility that GC might change to production. Still hoping before the 120 days though , half way there already

Has anyone ever experienced the date change but the stage of the card doesn't? For example, on my profile it says submitted on March 24. It went 'In Process' on April 1st. After about 3 weeks the day changed to April 22nd but is still 'In Process'.
Mine din the same thing. My profile says it was submitted on March 17 and accepted/in process on March 20 then about a month changed to April 20.POE is Seattle if that matters

Adding my wife's status:
Oct 21: Paid fee
Nov 2: POE
March 2: 120 days, called and opened SR with USCIS
April 3: SR was never assigned to agent, so called again. Agent opened a higher priority SR
April 6: Case assigned to agent for response
Today (Apr 10): Still haven't heard anything. Case is still in "Immigrant Visa Fee Payment Received"... 5+ months and waiting...
What is your wife's POE?

Thank. you! How was your experience at EWR?
Well we end up going to Seattle, officer was good but still didn't listen and won't look at the marriage certificate and insist on stamping CR1. I wasn't even taken to secondary inspection so just hoping that somehow card will show the IR. If not we will send in back with I90

My status now changed to card being produced
Congratulations that was quick. I came across to your profile since our family originally booked a flight that EWR is the POE and I had the same case asking to convert CR to IR since entry is pass 2 years after marriage.

From the usem?
Or i thought maybe i can schedule my interview
USEM will send you an email for your interview. It is case to case basis, maybe you'll receive one soon since you were approved to be expedited. You can move your interview schedule earlier if it's given later and medical can only be done once there is a confirmed interview schedule. I did my medical 3 days before my interview and it was directly forwarded to USEM, but as I said it is always case to case basis

Thank you po! My Ceac status is currently at NVC. How soon this would change until it arrives the USEM? Thank you 😊
It took 2 weeks after being DQ for our case to receive an email with my interview schedule. Interview was scheduled 2 weeks from that day email was received, but since your expedited you might get it sooner, maybe. Interview case always be rescheduled earlier than originally date. Either through email, phone call on your online account

NVC told me they no longer have my file as it is now being transferred to USEM MNL. That being said, maybe I won’t be able to know if I’m DQ? Or should i just wait for the usem to contact me?
Correct me if I am wrong, from a user that I spoke before who had an expedited case .Once it's approved ,it will be sent to USEM and they will be the one asking for more documents if there's a need for it on the actual interview day. I dont think you would show as dq as USEM will contact you for an interview schedule since you were approved to be expedited already.

Ni-check ko po yung timeline nya, September 23 pa siya na-DQ.
2 months pa before magbigay ng IL
I see, have you considered the option of requesting to expedite your case? I saw few people who requested and got approved.

I submitted the following
- Assignment Confirmation Letter
- Employment Confirmation Letter (similar to LOA as LOA are sometimes confidential)
- Tax Return Transcript last 3 years, (we are filing jointly)
- Pay Stubs 3 months
- Joint accounts statements both country (USA & Overseas)
- House Rental Agreement Overseas
- Residence Card Copy Overseas (to prove that we are already overseas)
- Bills showing overseas relocation (mostly utilities that under both our names)
- I don't have my actual green card at the time of application and actual interview so all I showed them in my US entry stamp
Form 10K was listed on the list they gave me to bring in the interview but IO didn't asked for it. They wanted the form 10K to see if the company is in USA trade market ( I guess this is one way to prove that the benefits of even working overseas still goes to the USA especially with the tax return transcript as our taxes showed that we are being taxed just like we are working in the USA and pay stub to prove that payments still goes to USA)
I couldn't think of anything else, you may provide the company business license too
