Hi guys, i want to know the normal processing time for visa issued to delivery by 2go. Issued date was Oct 16, and it's updating everyday. Until today Oct 22, the case updated too.

I checked also ustraveldocs, and 2go website both are still invalid.

My pick up point is in MOA, so i assume this will make it faster, but its been one week now my issue date but till now no passport yet :(

anyone can enlighten me, what's going on? thanks so much

    Hi,

i think it's normal. We're both on the same boat. Mine updated Oct 18 and today as well. It still shows Issued but invalid when tracked in 2Go website. We'll just have to wait I guess. I registered first as home delivery but changed it to pick up at MoA before my interview last Oct 16.

Hopefullu we get something tomorrow since it showed last update as Oct 22,2018. 😊

My  wife will have an interview on November.  Just want to ask if she needs the original copy of my I-864? She already had a scanned copy of it after I submitted it on CEAC website.

It should be okay. As far as I know, only the civil documents are required to be on orginal on the day of the interview.

everything else that were sent to NVC or uploaded in CEAC were not asked to be resubmitted.

I had scanned copy of I-864 during my interview last Oct 16,2018 at the USEM. Got approved and leaving on the 29th.

although it's always safer to have the orginal copy if you have time to send it over to her. 😊 Goodluck.

Technically, a scanned copy is supposed to be OK, but I would not try it without confirmation from somebody who was successful in Manila recently WITHOUT the original signed document.

My appointment was Oct 16, and I disn't have the original copy of my I-864. I only had a scanned copy. They didn't ask for it though, they only asked to submit civil documents from PSA and Orginal NBI clearance.

    got approved. 😊

My parents had their visa interview in the philippines on 10-16 and the consul said that they are approved, took their passport and was told that passport will be deliver within 5 days, i checked their visa status today and its under ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESSING and it was last updated on 10-16 which is their interview day.

Consul didnt ask for any pending requirements needed when they left.. Im just wondering if anyone had experience the same thing and if this a normal thing?

    Hi,

     Congrats to your parents! 😊

My interview date was the same 10-16. Appointment time 6:40, I got apporved too was advised 5-10 business days.

    My CEAC status changed

    AP - 10-16

    READY - 10-18 7AM

    ISSUED -10-18 1PM

I'm located in Manila though. maybe it varies if the delivery address is outside Manila. If they were advised that their applications were approved then it should be good. Patience and Faith.

    Godbless and Congrats! 😊

Our NVC Documents have been sent to RapidVisa. I went with RapidVisa just because it gives me peace of mind, that whatever gets sent to the government is proof-read.

We are now waiting on what to do next.

That's also true. It's always good to have someone make sure it's all good. 😊

Goodluck and hopefully we all get good news in the end. 😊 God bless

Rapid Visa recommends I send all my documents to them, in order for them to proofread it... rather than just upload it to NVC website.

Do you all recommend I just upload it, and skip that potentially unnecessary step? The RapidVisa site helped me with automatically filling out the AoS.

In regards to stating my current expected annual income. Up until very recently, I was estimating, conservatively, about $27,000/yr. But we just got a raise to $15/hr, effective the beginning of the month. None of my paystubs reflect this raise yet.
If I base the annual income off of the new raise, it will be about $31,000. Without it, it is about $27,000. Although, with all the overtime I've made, I probably would have gotten pretty close to $30,000 by the end of the year, even without the raise.

@JFox762 We actually used RapidVisa with premium review the first stage of filing and then I found VJ and did everything by ourselves after that.

Got to interview stage which will be in a couple days.

Hope everthjng goes well with you and loved one.

    God bless.

Because now people for NVC the filing is done thru CEAC and online only internet copies are seen,   they are asking for originals at the embassy stage

#4 on the letter u recd with instructions for interview

@kris&me, maybe for the recent ones which were done online (uploading docs and stuff)

Ours were actaully done through mail and hard copies sent to NVC. That's the reason why I don't have the old AOS cause my hubby sent out the oroginal one instead of just a photocopy.

Also, we needed to update it anyway since he's got a new job which started 3 months ago. 😊 So I think I will just have him sign and scan it. 😊

Other than that, I really appreciate your input. Thank you.

Thanks for the info, and link.

Embassy website states to bring documents to the interview also.

I am wondering if the embassy requesting uploading to CEAC only occurs with a 221g.   Time will tell.

Also true. Well, hopefully I won't get the 221g just to upload. Cause I tried to do it in advance just in case. Lol Just really didnt have the option.

the printed w2 is fine. thats what your employer provides anyways.

Documents requiring a signature need to have the actual signature. it does not have to be a wet signature but it can not be an electronic one. he can print the form, sign it, scan it, email it to you, and you can then print it.

    Thank you very much, @debbiedoo.

i'll have him do that. Can't take chances.

I wonder if this uploading to CEAC will become part of the process for the K-1 as well.   Right now it seems like it is all immigrant visa types only.

    Hi Hank,

    Found the answer here.

i tried to check on it cause I dont want to get delayed due to uploading. Hehe.

I logged on to CEAC and mine doesn't have the option since the letter I got from NVC is to submit it at the embassy. 😊

  13. Hi

hoping somebody can help me here.

I have an interview scheduled on Tuesday. (10/16/2018), I'm just worried because I got a mail from NVC that I need to bring my husband's W2 form for 2017. I just printed it directly from the website. Is that okay?

Also, he sent the orginal copy of the AOS and forgot to make a photocopy so i don't have a copy. Plot twist, he's got a new job so we needed to update it anyway.

Now here's the catch, he couldn't send me the updated AOS with wet signature so what he did is he used PDF filler to sign it. Is that acceptable by any chance? Or will it cause a delay on approval?

I printed all his pay stubs, military pension and IRS for 2017 to back it up too.

    Thank you very much.

  14. I think it is 8 weeks. I'm actually waiting to call St Lukes. Like everybody else, it's been long tiring days and sleepless nights until Oct 10th. I'm really hoping I'm not one of those cases where they couldn't reach the phone numbers provided so they just wait for you to call before actually telling you the bad news.

On the positive side, I made sure to keep my lines open so I'll never miss their call. I also double checked my phone number on that form they asked me to sign. So here I am trying to survive another couple weeks hoping and praying I get no calls from St Lukes.

Hopfully we all get that "Negative Culture results". Right? I didn't know that I'll be living an 8 weeks of life praying and hoping just for that day, where the only word I want to hear is "Negative". Lol
