    1. copy of I-485 receipt notice

    2. new I-864 packet

    3. letter explaining stuff

    and send it all to the address in the I-485 receipt notice.

    suggest usps priority mail with tracking.

    Hello following this thread from years ago. I know someone who is in same situation right now.Is it possible to re apply aos after USC withdrawn affidavit of support? the couple is now back together but a denial letter has been served about 44 months ago...any inputs regarding this thanks! @Darnell I will appreciate your input so much!thanks

    Hello Everyone! Hope everyone is staying safe during this Pandemic Season.

    So I came here thru k1 visa with my K2 visa, got married and adjusted our status.

    My Ead and Ap was approved and been working since February of this year.

    We all thought that things with regards to our adjustment of status (with 2 co sponsors)

    are all okay but to our surprised it got denied. We by the way DIY our aos packet.

    the weekend before the memorial day We saw that our case says " RFE responce was recieved"

    and we were actually wondering but waited until today tuesday to call back since we really didn't recieve any RFE notice at all (we never moved to another place and staying in same address where we are since we filed) May 26, 2020 just today we were shocked to find out that "CASE Denied" we are anxiously waiting for the notice.

     We have contacted an attorney already that says will send a request letter regarding what might had gone wrong to our case.

     

    Question:

    1. Can we still be able to stay here in US while waiting for the appeal? since we were advice to book the ticket going back home the soonest as possible before Ice will pick us up and get deported?

    we are worried if we can actually come back in Philippines but will face hardship due to this covid 19 pandemic.

    Approval from USCIS isn't the problem .. they aren't aware of specific laws in the Philippines.     The embassy does know, and if you filed the I-129F before the divorce had been finalized (free to marry in the Philippines) they will deny.

    Hello everyone, K1 filler here and we are on our 133 days 🤗 

    I just finished the process of my Sharia divorce - at Cotabato Circuit Philippines. 

    10 months had passed and it was finally granted...

    My marriage certificate are both annotated by Local civil registry and PSA MANILA.

    2 months after annotation, I requested for a CENOMAR here in PSA CEBU, I went 3 times to the PSA because they told me its block on the system and have reported it already to PSA MANILA for further actions.

    I went home with the same CENOMAR showing that I am still Married to my x-husband . The staff from PSA Cebu told  me that if its under sharia divorce it will "NEVER" appear in my CENOMAR. --which I wanted to confirm from those who had same experience with me before??

    Someone told me to do the following once interview to USEM will takes place:

    Show the consul a CENOMAR Attached with Certificate of divorce, Court Decree/Finality as a supporting documents that I had my sharia divorce done? Do I really need to make those supporting documents DFA AUTHENTICATED ( red ribbon)?

     

    Please advice me and to those who had the same issue with me. I look forward  to hear from you.

    I know this is an old trend I hope you guys will still reply. 

    So I had previously married in sharia (nikkah wedding) 2016 here in the Philippines,to an american muslim convert. Fast forward the marriage didnt work.I filed for Divorce and was granted by sharia court here in PH under P.D 1083 My marriage contract is already annotated and certified by both Local civil registry and PSA.However when I filed for Cenomar it doesnt show that my marriage is already divorced by islamic court.

    Does anybody here got a Cenomar with an islamic divorced remarks on it?Because What the people from PSA cebu (wer I requested for a copy of cenomar) says that for muslim divorce it wont show up or appear in th CENOMAR,andthey have adviced me that during the interview (k1 filler) i will just have to bring with me supporting documents proving that the marriage has been divorced?

     

    Please help.

    yes,you are right @Chris Duffy  @Hank this is what they called a Talaq where the husband stated "he is divorcing his wife" 3 times is another form of divorce.From my end I am doing it under the category of Farsh or khula divorce,where the wife is the one petitioning the divorce due to the abandonment of my husband to our marriage.I have spoken to an Imam / Legal counsel here in cebu but havent really got  a precise steps to start the process like which office to go or if there is any person that I can communciate with from the Muslim court.I am also trying to do it DIY if possible because these people I spoke with actually gave me a heads up for a fee that might cost me 120-150php and that I am doing it all by myself since I do not have any form of communication to him.

    Thank you for replying to my question @cyberfx1024.  YES, our marriage or (nikkah) was solemnized under muslim rites and tradition and had been registered pursuant to Article 81 of Presidential Decree No. 1083,otherwise known as the muslim Personal Law of the Philippines. Both of us are also muslim convert, I am curretly here in Cebu and I am just lost where to begin the process.As much as possible I would like to have some information to whom or if anyone knw an Attorney / Legal counsel to guide me to where should I start the process. I am currently here at Cebu city ph. God Bless!
