Once it says Non immigrant on your ceac tracker you can assure it’s being processed and you will have it the week or 2. So keep checking
Thanks, it's been issued yesterday !

Also I remember a French girl interviewing in London a couple of years back who used to post a lot in this forum. She had no delays due to her country of origin.
That's good to know thank you. This process is already way too long 😅 Patience is key, I've been learning that now !
Appreciate a lot your help, many thanks !!

Try this thread for somebody whose medical was not there. He started lots of posts so maybe check some of his other ones too.
Thank you so much for your help !! This is exactly what I was looking for 😊😊😊

Morning everyone !
was so happy to read y'all it makes me feel a bit less stressed 😅
My medical exam was in London, March 26th. My interview for the K1, April 13th. So I left about 3 weeks in between. BUT they told me they didn't have my medical yet .. so I asked if they wanted to see the papers Knightsbridge gave me & the officer replied that it might just be in the building (whaaat then find it damn it 😅).
I called Knightsbridge right away after the interview & they told me they sent it to the embassy on April 6th .. so it was at the embassy when I got the interview !!
The 13th right after my interview my status changed to AP .. so I can't wait to see the ISSUED part 😫 It's been less than a week I need to calm down I know but this whole process drive me kinda cray 😝
Any idea when I might get it ? Flying the 31st of May with my love as he's visiting in London so I wish we could go together home ..

So you wait until it gets to to the top of whose ever in tray it is in.
Truly appreciate your answer but I kinda know that .. That wasn't the question, but thanks !

Longer AP tends to be associated with those who have connections with T Countries.
Not my case so should be fine for that 😅

Hello everybody,
I had my interview for my K1 visa last Friday, April 13th at the London US embassy. Since I keep searching & searching on the forum to find answers ..
Everything went very smoothly but they were waiting on the results of my medical exam, which at the end the lady told me "everything seems good to me, we're just waiting for the medical results". I told her I had a copy of the papers they gave me if she wanted to see it and she just said "it might just be here" and I asked "so are we approved?". She answered smiling "regarding your results for the medical, you will have your passport in a week or two".
On the website, the same day it changed for "Administrative processing" like everybody. Since then, nothing. I know it's been less than a week but I just would like to know if some of you have been in this situation too and how long did it take to get issued and then to get your visa in hand ?
I called Knightsbridge right away and they said they sent everything on April 6th so it might be at the embassy 😫
Also I'm French living in London, they kept my passport and my police records .. so is there someone who was foreign too in London at the moment of the interview ? Might do more background checks ..
Leaving with my fiancé on May 31st so fingers crossed !!
ps : sorry for the long post & if it has been asked already !! I got lost in the thousands & thousands of others topics 😅

Hey guys,
My fiancé is trying to book a medical through the medical hotline listed for Knightsbridge, and their system has apparently been down all week. We are getting extremely frustrated since this is delaying our timeline. Is anyone else in the same position? Is there another way to book a medical? Thank you!

Hope they get it sorted for you both soon.
Just got my appointment for the 26 this month ! I called them around 2pm & waited 30min but the system is back ! :)))

Hello there,
Same here, I have been trying to call them & they told me the same thing .. I think I will just show up there, as they seem super busy on the phone .. (the lady was very friendly tho) because they said I had to wait because I was number 4 in the queue & I didn't wait even 30 sec .. I need to book the appointment for myself as well & it's so frustrating ..

You should have the interview in the country where you live. So if you filled out your current address on the form to be London you most probably will go to the embassy there. Like Naes will go to the embassy in Japan and not Turkey where she is originally from.
I'm not sure if you will get an RFE for forgetting to list the embassy.
Thank you for your answer, I hope so .. in case it happens at least it's an easy fix but still more delay .. & yes, I put my current address in London where I live ! Thanks so much @Litte_Vixen

ive heard some never getting rfe for that and NVC just decided depending on the place of residence. But I also did saw rfe about it because it is omitting information. So it is hard to say.
Thanks ! Finger crossed !!

Hello everybody !
I'm not very active on here but read all of you, as I'm an august filler too
186 days already .. & it looks my fiancé just realized that he forgot to write my consulate/embassy for the interview on the I-129F (thanks baby .. 6 months later 😅 Better later than never but still ughhh). Do you think we'll get a RFE for that or maybe they will email us or something that an information is missing on the form ? I can't believe he did forget 😅 Also, I'm a French citizen living in London, I don't know then where my interview will take place 🤔 Thanks for your help !! If not he will call them tomorrow as today of course we can't reach anyone .. rrrr I already can't wait to see @Naes scans 😅 I literally wake up everyday in the middle of night to check the scans - me ? Impatient ? Not at all 😁 Have a great day everyone ! & congrats for all the approvals !

I know this has been asked before, but does it go by Received Date (17 Aug) or Notice Date (21 Aug)?
We're on the same I guess ! Received 17 & notice 21st ! Crossing fingers so hard right now for us to get approvals this week 😩😩😩

1) depends on the embassy (in japan I can)
2) (probably accidental 1) beneficiary print out is ok
3) most recent you can get and 3-6 months there's nothing specific but 6 was what they asked from me for visitor visa so I'm going with that
4) we actually had it already and I'm worried about that too... just google visajourney employment letter k1 you'll see some similar threads with sample templates..
Hello
sorry to jump in the convo ! I've read for the embassy we'll need the I-134. Otherwise, my fiancé isn't having any income at the moment as he came to live with me (I'm so lucky, we're waiting but at least we're waiting together) so his brother will be our co-sponsor. Does my fiancé still need to complete the I-134 even if he has to write down "zero" for the incomes & everything, or only the co sponsor completes the form ? Sorry I'm a bit lost 😅
Hope everybody gets approvals very soon 🤗 We're fillers for August 17th, so finger crossed for this week !! It's been already too long 😅

Hi, I'm sorry to pop up in the middle of the convo ! I've seen Affidavit of Support & I need some help 😅 There are so many messages on the forum, I'm lost with all the information ..
My fiancé moved with me to London so at least we would wait for the visa together instead of doing long distance. So at the moment he's not having any salary.
We're waiting at the moment for the NOA2 (we're August fillers so hopefully by the end of the month we'll have an answer)
He asked his brother to be the co-sponsor, so it's his brother that should complete the I-134 ? But does my fiancé has to fill it as well, even tho he will write 0 income at the moment ? I guess a bit confused.
Thank you so much in advance for your answers !

Is there a deadline from when it's sent to the embassy and when she needs to go there? If not then I'll definitely put Nepal.
No there is no deadline. I'd say to put Nepal it's just safer, especially if she can go back anytime since her job in Germany is temporary ! The different centers are taking ages at the moment, it takes longer than before so .. just an advice
-
Hello,
I don't know if you've found any answer since you've posted your question but I'm currently living in the UK (but I'm French) & same, I don't know exactly when I go back to France but in case we put on our application the French embassy. I'm not sure, but for what I've read at the time we filled the application, it was just easier to write down the embassy of your home country, so for your fiancée Nepal.
You can still contact the service center that proceeds your case when she changes her address so they can make the change but it will probably add some delay to your case .. which nobody wantsit takes already to long lol !
No health insurance during N-400

Hello everyone, I couldn't find much on the forum. I know those posts are from 2016 but in case ..
I came on a K1 visa in June, got married, didn't get on the insurance of my husband because he was on obamacare. In 2019 it's not an obligation anymore to have health insurance & so no more penalty as well. He won't renew with Obamacare. But I'm starting working next week & will have a plan health insurance with my employer. We don't know yet if we should get it or not .. We're absolutely never sick (I know, it can happen we never know) but we haven't been sick in years, & would rather pay a check up once in a while & pay out of pocket instead of paying insurance. The only thing that scares me : I haven't got my GC yet, only my EAD, & at our interview for the GC I'm scared they ask for the health insurance. Is it something that could penalize us if we don't ? Of course we'll have other documents to prove our relationship as insurance car together, joint account, rent .. Thank you in advance for your answers !
