Quick question.  I am little worried because my usc spouse started a new drama recently after I got 10 years approved greencard. Before approval, she used to threat me with false domestic violence and divorce every time if she got mad or if things didn't go in her way.  Now days if we get in argument ,she said she will go to immig officer and say false stuff about our marriage and have me out . She have lot ego and anger . Well, she cooled down couple of days later and we started talking little. I am wondering if immig officer will believe on her false  statement and question me .

You may want to collect some evidence. Is it legal in your state to record conversations you are involved in without the other party's consent? If she texted you any of those things, be sure to hold on to those texts.

You can file for citizenship soon. Maybe you want to do that without telling her. I know it's not exactly a good idea to do this behind one's spouses back, but you're in a bit of a pickle.

So u got rfe Dec 26th and u mailed response 3 months later in March? I'm glad you are all set and everything and congrats but why would u wait 3 months tho?

I got 90 days to submit more evidence. That's the maximum.

I did actually use most of that time. I gathered more current electric bills (the older ones only had my husband's name on them, because the bottom portion with both names has to be returned with payment), I was able to file taxes and then get an IRS transcript, I was able to think for a while about all the stuff I had that I hadn't previously thought aof (christmas and anniversary cards addresses to both of us, WhatsApp message protocol from when I visited Family, pictures of the progress we made on our property - different buildings/projects and individual progress updates).

I was glad to have as much time to really gather everything I could and ponder for a while if there was anything I hadn't thought of.

It says delivered to mailbox . I am

waiting for Usps to get back to me next week . Divorce filer March 2018 , no RFE or Interview

Is someone else checkening your mail? Could someine else have taken it?

Perhaps USPS made a mistake and it will be delivered on Monday? If you live in a small town, you could go to your post office today and see if they can help.

Best of luck getting this straightened out!

hello all i wanna ask question i finish my i751 month ago with error name and then i file again form i-90 i did my finger print  everthing good but i didnt recive my new green can so can i file for N400 with out the  new green card ?

We all have been waiting fornour new card since August of 2017 - it takes much longer than a month.

You can file N-400 without the new card, but make sure you are eligible. If you do this, they will most likely combine both cases.

Well they did send an rfe. After that they can deny base on the response you send them.Or they could send another rfe or request an interview or send a NOID.If a case is deny you can get a lawyer and file a motion to reopen.Remember even with a denial only an immigration judge can put u in removal .

Thanks for all this info! The suspense is killing me.

You are checking the wrong number. You either have a WAC or a EAC number.Check that

I am not checking the wrong number. I have a WAC number that I am checking regularly. The case worker is just not putting updates for my case in the computer. I had big problems with them some years ago when I got my 2 year card. Status had changed to 'we destroyed your card' - it came in the mail 2 days later.

What do you mean? Mine still shows the same thing since October of 2017.

    Wow O.o

I mean that I received the RFE in January out of the blue without my staths changing to 'Request for Additional Evidence Was Mailed'. My documents have arrived in CA on 4/3. I wonder how long it'll take them to update to 'Response to RFE Was Received' ' if that ever happens.

Awesome! Mine was delivered to USCIS on March 19th and was received as per Fedex Tracking but they haven't updated the status of my application not even that I've had my biometrics done on December 2017. Looking forward to their status update and for a positive result too. Good luck to all of us.

My status still says 'received at local office'. It was never even updated for RFE.

It seems that my local office (milwaukee) is no longer accepting InfoPass appointments. Is there anything that can be done or any way around this? My wife's extension letter expires in July of this year, and there has been no update or progress on the USCIS site since being transferred months ago. If there is no ability to obtain an infopass appointment in order to get another extension stamp in the passport, what are we supposed to do?

Call USCIS (I think you need to press 2 - 2 - 2 to speak to someone). Explain your situation. They should be able to schedule an appointment for you.

I have mailed it on October 21st 2017, got an NOA on the 30th and had my Biometrics on December 1st. Meanwhile, after the long wait I got an RFE at the end of December last year and responded to it through mail on the 18th of this month and they got it the next day. And I am still waiting for their response as it will take 60 days based on the RFE letter. The 1 year extension has already expired on January and I had my passport stamped through an infopass appointment on September 2018 for our travel outside the country.

Has anyone got an RFE too? =-( I wonder how long did it take for them to get back to you?

I just got all my additional evidence together. I'll write a cover letter this weekend and then I'll send everything out on Monday. I'm a little worried because we don't go out much, we don't go on vacation and stuff. We pretty much either work or recover from work. I'll try to explain that and hope for the best. Perhaps I should include some pictures of the work we have done together: tree felling, demolition, framing/construction. We're not in the pictures, but they may show why we're not running around having fun, making big life decisions and taking pictures.
