Ameen.. Not all of the visit visa applicants are suffering from this.. Two of my relatives (Khala and Phopo with her daughter and husband) got USA visa in 2017 they got approved at the time of interview and got their passport back in exactly 4 days. I don't know whats going on..but hoping for the best.

Oh.. Hopefully It won't be a year.. I got Ds5535 in November's first week. I sent it back.. And on 16 nov my status changed to AP.. I don't know why they took so long to send me that questionnaire. I am really very worried. Hoping we will get a news in june or july InshaAllah.

No I haven't heard anything yet. You stay in touch with me to tell me whats yoru status.. Hopefully we will get good news soon. I had no job.. I was a student ...now i m doing nothing :'( did u get Ds5535 questionnaire in email? I think our medical has also expired.. When will they ask to renew it :'(

When was your interview and did they send you DS5535 form? Have you got an email for a second medical exam? No..I got last update on 23 january... After that whenever I sent them an inquiry..my date changed on CEAC. My interview was on 20 sep.. And I got form ds5535 in november. Since then my case is in AP. My passport is in embassy. VO approved my visa at the time of interview and kept the passport. Visa category is I-730 beneficiary.

When was ur interview and what did VO tell you at the end of your interview? What did they ask you to submit? More documents? Pictures? Or any other thing?

Oh okay.. My mother is in USA and she is a principal asylee and filed my petition.. I was under 21 year age when she filed my petition. I havr not met her since 5 years. Do u have your mother or father in USa? I know abt ur category.

Whats your visa category? Did embassy inform you before sending your case to UScis? What is the reason for this act? Why did they send it back to Uscis? Nd when was your interview? It's been 7 months since my interview. My category is I-730 follow to join

Oh okay.. Everywhere on internet it was written that medical expires after one year.. My category is I-730 (follow to join refugee/asylee) my mother is in USA. She is the principal applicant

Have u got ur visa? My interview was on 20 september 2017. VO approved my visa and did not give me any paper.. He kept my passport nd asked me to pick it after 4 days. But then in November i got ds5535 form in email...asking abt my social media handles n previous addresses. I sent it back to them.. And my status changed to administrative processing im november. I have not heard anything from them since then

Have you got your visa?? I m in AP since september 2017. Everywhere on internet i find medical expires after one year but on this forum everybody say that it expires after 6 months.. Its so confusing.

My case is also I-730.. wht abt u? Have u got ur visa? Did u get that form DS5535 in email? Thats a good sign for u if u got a call from embassy..its been 7 mnths since my interview nd no update

The following Tuesday I received an email regarding the return of my passport and I received it today.

I think so its because of the email. As it also happens with me I emailed them on 26 march and got reply on 27 march and an update as well. Whereas, I sent them an inquiry on 9th april and they changed the date but I got no reply.. So, sometimes they reply us and sometimes not.. But date gets updated when they check our case status.
