CO kept my passport and gave me no slip, and asked for no document even to submit. It was like a casual and good interview of hardly 3 minutes. But from then my case is under adminstrative processing and it's been 1 year 11 months now. I am in touch with the embassy and they send me typical response that your case is under AP.

What abt your case? Your passport is still in embassy? Have they told you any objections on ur case?

    Hello Everyone,

I got a call from Islamabad embassy yesterday inquiring about the contact numbers I use and my email address and places I have worked.

the officer was a Paki guy and was talking in Urdu and was very strict in Tone.

this is the first call I have received from the embassy after my interview, my interview was on 1st June 2016.

Does this means they are about to speed up my case or is it just a normal process for the Visa Admin Processing's?

I read most of the people have been visited by the field agents who were inquiring about them.

BTW, my visa case is I-730, follow to join case.

Everyone please kindly share your views

What about you? Have you got yoyr visa?

Yes I had my interview on the same date. Did you get questionnaire form in email after interview? VO approved my visa at the interview and kept my passport. Bt then after one month I got the questionnaire form for additional Info in email. I filled it and sent it back. Then my case status changed to AP on Ceac in November. And I am waiting for my visa since then. Did they keep your passport? Whats your visa category

Hellk Shazyyo - At the time of interview did they tell u that your visa approved and you will get ur passport in 5 working days? Or did they say u have to fill the Ds 5535 form and the case will be in AP?

Hello. At the time of interview VO approved my visa and kept my passport and asked me to pick it up in 5 days. But then when i came back home I got no call from embassy to pick my passport. Then after one and half month I got Ds5535 in email and when i sent it back my status on ceac changed to AP. What about you

Thank you for writing to our office. Your immigrant visa case is refused under INA 221g for administrative processing, an integral part of the visa adjudication and issuance process that can be neither expedited nor waived.  Unfortunately, it is difficult to predict the amount of time the processing will take.

Please be assured that we are aware of your concerns and will process the application to completion as quickly as possible, in accordance with U.S. laws. We recognize that this process can be frustrating for applicants and regret any inconvenience.  We will resume the processing on the visa application once the administrative processing is finished.

Yeaa I get the same reply on each inquiry. It's been 7.5 months since my interview.. Too frustrating. Whats your visa category?
