    Hello everyone!

A quick update after 10 long weeks I finally got my NVC Case#! The best BDay present ever..🤗😊😆 I believe all the strings I pulled got them to send my petition over. So many diff stories I was told idk who to believe but I am happy my case is moving forward even though I was in April visiting my fiance oh God we miss each other dearly..

Ty @Greenbaum for all your advice it helped me get thru this hopefully everything goes swell from here on..

When did your case arrived at NVC??

Everything about this process someone has experienced it. You are on the long side of waiting so something is stuck.

You might try both options below.

First try shooting off an email to the Ombudsman at cisombudsman@HQ.DHS.GOV The Ombudsman provides an impartial and independent perspective to USCIS in an attempt to resolve problems.

Second try your U.S. representative's contact information can be found in this handy directory, and your U.S. senator's information is in this one.

I don’t think USCIS Ombudsman could say anything since it’s already at NVC with case number?

  3. Actually they're saying something interesting. They said it's almost ready to be sent to the embassy and currently under additional processing for "quality control". So I asked what that is and the lady said it's just that they're making sure every information filled into the system is correctly put. (it's electronic case)

Well it's been quite time to get to this (almost) final step, so I'd hope any good news soon.

  4. I feel like NVC is sending out to the embassy in some sort of bulk. When I see timelines here via search, it seems like I can see a slight bit of pattern of when the cases leave NVC.

Anywho, that's just another rambling. NVC lady today again said the same thing; it's just waiting to be sent, everything's filed into the system and it all depends on how quickly they send out.

I really can’t believe that this is happening. Earlier this week I was ranting about my case not being sent to the embassy. Now my case says “READY”. That was so fast.

    Here’s my timeline:

    NOA1: Oct 20, 2017

    NOA2: April 23, 2018 (April 27 hard copy)

    NVC Received: May 9, 2018

    NVC Case # Assigned: May 10, 2018

Medical Appointment: May 14, 2018 (SLEC)

    In Transit: May 17, 2018

    Ready Status: May 18, 2018

Additional Medical Evaluation: May 31, 2018

    Interview Date: June 1, 2018

Hope my case changes to In Transit soon! Been waiting more than two weeks

From what I know electronic is when they tell you to dial 5 right? If that’s the case mine isn’t electronic. Spoke to an operator on line 7 when he gave me my case #

Oh I see. It surely is weird that it jumped to Ready instead of In Transit. What did they (NVC call center) say to you before it changed to Ready today? When i called the other day, they said they’re doing finishing touches but still under administrative processing.

he's sending the I-134 with signature and yeah i think it's better to just include those. My fiancee is going with me so he will bring all the document and yes i told him to bring the original birth cert and divorce decree.Just incase they will ask for it atleast were ready.

Is it possible to bring the original birth certificate??? In U.S. I think you can only send the photocopy of birth certificate since if you send the original birth cert, there'll be none of it after then.
