So many diff stories I was told idk who to believe but I am happy my case is moving forward even though I was in April visiting my fiance oh God we miss each other dearly..
Ty @Greenbaum for all your advice it helped me get thru this hopefully everything goes swell from here on..
When did your case arrived at NVC??

Everything about this process someone has experienced it. You are on the long side of waiting so something is stuck.
You might try both options below.
First try shooting off an email to the Ombudsman at cisombudsman@HQ.DHS.GOV The Ombudsman provides an impartial and independent perspective to USCIS in an attempt to resolve problems.
Second try your U.S. representative's contact information can be found in this handy directory, and your U.S. senator's information is in this one.
I don’t think USCIS Ombudsman could say anything since it’s already at NVC with case number?

Well, I'm still stuck at NVC after they generated our case number on May 2nd.
We've been under Administrative Processing for almost 8 weeks now. This is exhausting...
@Naes have you seen any case like this, stuck at AP for 2 months even before the case being sent to the embassy?
-
I talked to a NVC supervisor and later I was told that our case is now sent for supervisor review. (Case No. generated on May 2)
Then they said it can take up to 6 weeks maximum to be reviewed by supervisor. We already waited more than a month under administrative processing and another possible 6 weeks?!?!?!?!?
I'm really depressed.

NVC Case no. generated on May 2 (Eastern time) and still under administrative processing. Wonder when will our case be sent to the embassy.
It's quite tiring. I submitted an inquiry through their online form, but no email reply at all. And NVC Call Center's saying the same thing since it's in AP.
A month! It's depressing.

Actually they're saying something interesting. They said it's almost ready to be sent to the embassy and currently under additional processing for "quality control". So I asked what that is and the lady said it's just that they're making sure every information filled into the system is correctly put. (it's electronic case)
Well it's been quite time to get to this (almost) final step, so I'd hope any good news soon.

I feel like NVC is sending out to the embassy in some sort of bulk. When I see timelines here via search, it seems like I can see a slight bit of pattern of when the cases leave NVC.
Anywho, that's just another rambling. NVC lady today again said the same thing; it's just waiting to be sent, everything's filed into the system and it all depends on how quickly they send out.
-
I called NVC and they said our case is waiting in the line to be sent to the embassy. I asked multiple times and they said all processing is done and it’s just like waiting in the line to be forwarded. It seems like NVC is backlogged these days.
about timeframe, they said it depends on how quickly they send things to the embassy

Have you tried to call NVC?
Yup they’re saying it’s normal and under necessary administrative processing, or sometimes finishing final touches, or filling into their system. Lol

@satoshi it seems to me that we are on the same boat. Did you call them again? What they said?
Pretty much the same

I really can’t believe that this is happening. Earlier this week I was ranting about my case not being sent to the embassy. Now my case says “READY”. That was so fast.
Here’s my timeline:
NOA1: Oct 20, 2017
NOA2: April 23, 2018 (April 27 hard copy)
NVC Received: May 9, 2018
NVC Case # Assigned: May 10, 2018
Medical Appointment: May 14, 2018 (SLEC)
In Transit: May 17, 2018
Ready Status: May 18, 2018
Additional Medical Evaluation: May 31, 2018
Interview Date: June 1, 2018
Hope my case changes to In Transit soon! Been waiting more than two weeks

I’m very worried because some other people doing process via Seoul embassy updated their timeline that their case left nvc much much earlier than us. And our case received by nvc earlier than them (may 3) but still at nvc!
i wonder if this would take longer.... I want to cry 😭

From what I know electronic is when they tell you to dial 5 right? If that’s the case mine isn’t electronic. Spoke to an operator on line 7 when he gave me my case #
Oh I see. It surely is weird that it jumped to Ready instead of In Transit. What did they (NVC call center) say to you before it changed to Ready today? When i called the other day, they said they’re doing finishing touches but still under administrative processing.

Whoa. My case updated from AT NVC just 2 hrs ago to READY right now.
NOA2: April 19
Case number: May 9
Case ready: May 16
It didnt update to “IN TRANSIT”
Maybe yours is the same @Louize
We just got the NVC letter today as well.
Was it electronic?

Called NVC and this time they said something different. Until yesterday, They said they are still reviewing it which means administrative processing. Today, they said they’re doing final touches filling into their system before sending to the embassy. (Electronic case)
Hope it changes to In Transit soon!

he's sending the I-134 with signature and yeah i think it's better to just include those. My fiancee is going with me so he will bring all the document and yes i told him to bring the original birth cert and divorce decree.Just incase they will ask for it atleast were ready.
Is it possible to bring the original birth certificate??? In U.S. I think you can only send the photocopy of birth certificate since if you send the original birth cert, there'll be none of it after then.

Just called NVC, our NOA2 was April 11,
So, was told they have received the case, BUT it is on administrative processing.... what does that mean?
I was also told that it's currently on administrative processing. Right now the status on the tracker site is At NVC stage.
noa2 apr 6, nvc received apr 30, number generated on may 2.

It wasn't the norm until very recently. It seems electronic cases are getting faster
I think it depends on the embassy? I'm in South Korea and Seoul one seems a little slow.

Hi from April 2018 NOA2 -> NVC thread!
Seems like NVC is a bit backlogged these days. I've been under Administrative Processing at NVC (not after embassy interview!) for over 2 months as well. Though most cases are forwarded quickly to the embassy, some cases or if it's in AP, it needs much more time I guess.
