    Everyone w/ Same Day Approvals "NOA2" (Which route now?K3/CR1 )

    Dear all VJ'rs, I am confused as hell. I'm sure this will apply to many of you who want to do things right the first time.

    With I-129f & I-130 Approved on the same day, I-129f goes to the consulate and the I-130 stays at the NVC????? (That's a

    question)

    Now what??? I want to see my wife asap and want her here in the US with me. Based on what I read, k-3 means I-129f?? and gets her here quicker.

    Here's the big issue, many pursue k3 and leave the (cr1) i-130 ALONE. With that in mind, what the hell happens to i-130???

    Can you really neglect the i-130 route and pursue k3?? Or does the USCIS require for you to submit i-130 requirements (ie., police certs, medical, packet 3 or 4 shhtuff)?? oh yeah, not to mention the additional fees???

    Is it required to pursue both at the same time just to be safe??

    I would hate to ignore a USCIS procedure requirement (cr1 docs and fees) with wishful thinking that my k3 will go through, and get screwed because I ignored the cr1 (i130) route.

    My compressed version timeline:

    12/6/06: I-130 Sent

    12/29/06: I-129F sent

    1/11/07: I-129f NOA1

    4/10/07: I-129f & I-130 NOA2 (Approval)

    When your I130 & I129 are simultaneously approved,,, I129 will be forwarded to the NVC then after that to the embassy,,, Your I130 is left at the CSC where you can apply for AOS ( adjustment of status) when you arrive at US.

    Hello all,

    My fiance had TB when he was a teen, around 15-16 yrs old. I'm completely ignorant of the disease, so bear with me on this one. Will TB show up on a skin test, even though he had it 10 years ago? And if so, will he be disqualified from getting the visa because of this? What would medically disqualify someone?

    Hi! I haven't received anything yet, but I've been getting emails. These both came in within two hours of each other. The first says

    Application Type: I129F , PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)

    Current Status: Approval notice sent.

    The second says:

    Application Type: I130 , IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN

    Current Status: Approval notice sent.

    Now does that mean I have NOA2s for BOTH of these? Whaat? I don't get it.

    #1 What does this mean?

    #2 What do I do now (which docs etc)?

    #3 How much time left before US entry approximately???

    Should I be celebrating?

    Hello djveed,,, yes you are approved already... our case is the same as yours. Our I130 & I129F were approved simultaneous on same day.... that's a CELEBRATION though :dance::whistle::thumbs: ...

    April Filers - K3 Visa - VSC

    Hi Everyone,

    Just wanted to start this new thread to get an idea on how everyone's K3 File is processing. I just applied for mine last week and i haven't receieved NOA1 yet. I hope everyone who filed for K3 Visa at VSC can put their info. It would be greatly appreciated. Here is my short timeline.

    timeline:

    01/11/07 - wedding day in India

    02/13/07 - sent I-130 to VSC

    02/21/07 - NOA1 received through mail

    04/14/07 - sent I-129F to Chicago for K3 Visa

    Hi there,,, your NOA1 for I129 will arrive soon, just hang-on there.... God bless on your journey!!!!

    We got our NOA1 in January 22, 2007. My sweetie is set to come back to Manila in May. :dance: I just hope our NOA2 will come soon, so we will still have time to prepare necessary documents before he comes here to visit.

    I Got approved today . both I 130 and I 129 throrugh CSC.

    I filed in Janury.

    I had no touches what so ever , just pending until I got email

    about approval

    Hi gsv64.... CONGRATULATIONS FOR YOUR APPROVAL.... we are on same date of filing of I-130... we also filed on January 11,,, still waiting for the NOA2!!!! our last touch was Fed. 22...

    I mailed in December too, agm, citizen, stacy and myself are on almost same timeline.

    I am January file and got my approval for both:

    ***I-130***

    2006-12-14 I-130 Sent to Vermont Service Center

    2006-01-12 I-130 NOA1

    2007-04-06 approved!

    ***I-129F (new form)***

    2006-01-31 I-129F Sent to Chicago

    2006-02-07 I-129F NOA1

    Looks like you do not know how blessed you are!!!

    CSC - burns your skin raw... over and over and over - ggggggrrrrrrrrhhhh!!! :angry:

    Ask citizen and amg - they can show you the scars... LOL... :lol:

    Thanks for acknowledging my faith,,,, but honestly its hard to stand on it because it is more likely we are tested on whatever we say... :crying: im on this stage now... but GOD has mercy!!! :thumbs: This is the second to the biggest waiting trials in my entire life... first is my husband and second is this... wow!!! But time is passing quickly

    i am encouraged if i read approvals thinking that we will be the next.

    We will continue to wait for God's perfect time... Sometimes we thought it is delayed but its actually not because maybe God is still fixing some part of our petition stuff...

    Ok so this is freaky....I just looked on the VJ Immigration Timelines to see everyone who filed in Vermont and I noticed that I'm next in line (the VJ line anyways) to be approved, so I logged in for the third time today to see if they did anything and both the I130 and the I129 were touched today. :dance: I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this is a good sign.....

    hi doodlebug,, can i ask pls how did you know that you're the next to be approved. Can you pls share how it is seen here? Dont have any idea,,, thanks!

    Well technically I have no clue since there are probably a LOT more in front of me, but going by the people who have filled in their timelines on VJ, if you click on "immigration timelines", then "visa display options" , "view k3 visas advanced view", I filtered by my service center which is vermont, then clicked the downward arrow on the I129F NOA1 column, went to the page where the first NOA2 shows up and voila, I'm the next up waiting for mine. I just noticed that since I last checked someone here got their NOA2 that filed the same day as me so here's hoping I'll be coming soon.

    Realize though, not everyone of course is on VJ :D so it's not like I'm REALLY next in line, just gives me hope that maybe I'll be soon now.

    Hi doodlebug,,, sorry, but i dont really see where we can advance view who will be the next one to be approved. In VJ immigration timelines, we are the one giving them information/dates of our updates so that is exactly how it will reflect in our profile... Am i mistaken with this?

    hi everyone...

    we are applying for K3

    and sent the I-130 and I-129 on the same day to the same place (california service center)

    and now we got the NOA of I-129

    what should we do now?

    we are supposed to get NoA of I-130 right!!!!

    is everything ok now?
