oh yeah, finally my case has been approved 20 days after a RFE received and 316 days after NOA1.
So happy. 

Congratulations to people that has been approve and those that got their interview appointment for july and all the best to those that is gonna be interview this month I wish every body a blessed interview..

Last update...we picked up my husbands visa yesterday!! They included the letter that said since we are part of the new modernized system, there is no packet to bring to the U.S. Everything is now electronic. We're going to wait until after our 2 year anniversary to move back, so he can get the IR-1.
I can't believe this process is finished!! Took a little over 13 months. We could not have done it without the help & support of everyone on this site. We're so grateful & it was really helpful to know that we weren't alone...and that it's normal to go through so many emotions during this process! I wish you all the best as you come to the end of this journey! 💖

My husband's interview was on May 24th in barbados and he got approved!!!! Now its time too prepare for him to be here in two weeks!!!

Not much at all. The officer just asked me the date of our marriage to figure out if i'm Ir1 or Cr1. Stamped my passport, confirmed our address and told me green card will be sent within 3-5 months. But once I have gotten my social security I can work, school, get a driver's license,etc. Then he told me the dates in 2020 when I can file to remove conditions. That's all. 

My dear VJers, I am now officially a US permanent resident. I got into America last night at 8:45pm Est. 
POE Atlanta. 
Everything went very smooth from filing at uscis, to nvc, to interview and then POE. The whole journey from start to US entry took me 1 year and 4 days.. It is the Lords doing. I wish the rest of you Goodluck while I go start a family with DH

I just received my wife at POE today (Dallas International Airport) 
 
This process is finally over. Next step is to get her SSN and receive her green card.
 
Note to y'all: My wife was asked some questions at POE:
 
1. Where does your husband work?
2. What does he do for a living?
3. What are your plans now that you are in the U.S.

Wife's visa was approved at the Lagos, Nigeria Embassy this morning. 
 
They only asked 3 questions......
 
1. How did you meet your husband?
2. When did you start dating?
3. When did you get married?
 
Wife said they did not even ask or check any of the documents. She suggested to show the pictures album but the lady just issued the white paper for visa collection
 
Thank you VJ members. If I had found this forum earlier, this process would have taken less than the 8 months & 10 days but still thank God.
 
 
 

I just got a mail to pick up my passport. I’m glad the journey is over 🙌💃💃💃

Lol... I’ll keep updating. I believe it’s because Friday is half day that’s why I’ve not received any message from dhl but I’m sure it will come thru on Monday. Wishing your husband the very best! 

My status on ceac just changed to issued. Hopefully i get a message from dhl to pickup my passport. Fingers crossed 😊

Thank you so much. He gave me a paper which Indicated that I should register with dhl for passport pickup. Of which I already did a week before my interview. So I was told I would be contacted once it’s ready. All the best!
