Ours was issued on friday, got the courier email tuesday and we selected home delivery, he just got his passport today if that helps you at all 😄

Your priority date is the date on your NOA 1 i believe, when you first submitted your i-130 etc

When is your priority date? Ours was december of 2017, we were late submitting our paperwork to nvc so maybe thats why it was done so fast ?

Presuming you're referring to the Embassy (and not Knightsbridge) the delivery company they use is called DX. I had read enough nightmare stories to choose to collect mine at the depot, but I know that not everyone has a depot close enough to be able to do this (my 'local' was a 30 minute drive away). Fingers crossed for you! 

Thank you!!! The closest depot for my husband was 4 hours away in Edinburgh 😷 so he chose to do home delivery

At my medical the lady told me it's better to email rather than calling, because it's easier to handle questions/requests that way. I emailed around 1pm and had a response within an hour. Yesterday would have marked the 7th business day for me and they said they were preparing the package and sending it off to the embassy that day.

 

I still have to go back to the embassy tomorrow though because my case was expedited and they forgot to take the payment. (They can't take it over the phone/online). ☹️

That's awful, my husband lives all the way up near Aberdeen Scotland, couldn't imagine if he had to do that. :c hopefully it doesn't take long for them to issue the visa, worst comes to worst we can change the date of the flight but i really want him here before Christmas 😂

Did you email them first asking? I've had people tell us to call and they'd tell us if his results we're sent or not, The woman on the phone didn't even ask for his case number and just told us to wait seven business days 😥

My husband had his medical done on 11/27 and his interview was on 11/28. He called knightsbridge today and they said he has to wait 7 business days before they can tell him if his medical had been sent to the embassy. We bought a flex/refundable flight for him that's leaving the 17th so he can be here before Christmas,  Do you guys think he'll have his passport back before then? Thank you 😊

He had his interview today and was approved pending his medical results. Was able to bring his bag etc in no problem and said it was a lot less stressful than he thought 😂😂

Hi 😀 my husband has his interview on 11/28 and he's wondering if he can bring a medium sized backpack into the embassy? It'll also have a cell phone charger inside because he's staying in london overnight. I know each embassy has different rules so I'd love to hear if anyone going through london knows.  Thank you! 

Thank you people from the UK. I figured as such but I wanted to really confirm with other people as well. My lawyer has been giving us a ton of problems this entire process, and making things much more delayed/stressful than it already should be. waste of $2500.

He does not have a drivers liscense as he's not needed one. Also UK id cards that ive seen do not have addresses on them. 

Thank you! His interview is in two weeks which is why I'm asking, cutting it close. He's applied for one, but autocorrect has changed Alexander to Alex on the application. If they do need it would that be a problem. 

Hi 😊 My immigration lawyer is saying we need a national i.d. card for my husband to have his visa interview, he's lost his and we would like to know if this is something required for the interview? He has his passport etcetc. I've never seen an id required on any checklist so I'd like to be sure if we need it. 

Hi, My husband is planning on moving to the US in December and we're wondering what's the best way (exchange rate etc) to get his money from his UK account to a US account?  Any advice is appreciated! Thank you

We are currently in a similar situation.. My fiance had his medical on the 3rd but they needed more information about a surgery he had, that took us a while to get. He was approved pending medical at his interview on Wednesday and Knightsbridge finally got their information today. I will keep you posted and let you know when they send everything over and how long it takes to get approved. xx

Hi, My husband lives up in the north of Scotland and is traveling down to London for his visa and medical. His medical is the 27th of November and interview is 28th, I know his visa will probably end up being approved pending his medical, but does anyone know how long this can delay him getting his visa? Thank you!

I called back and she said it could take up to a week to get the email, if we dont have it in a week to call back

Yesterday,  our case on the ceac website changed to in transit, i called the nvc and got the interview date. Still no email though

CC 10/5 and our interview has been scheduled for 11/28 at the London embassy!!

Docs were sent in 25th of sept and approved october 5th 😄

Hi!!! Our case switched to in transit on the ceac website, does this mean we have an interview date? No email yet. Also I've tried calling the NVC and the phone hangs up after the first ring, am i using the right number? 603 334 0700

My husband is waiting on an interview also, I've been watching visajourney for ages and it looks like people with CCs in mid september got interviews in october, so it may be likely for a november interview 😄 His CC is october 4th.
